Taking into account I perform all these actions, as an elemental shaman, it would result in me basically shocking/lightning shield a hunter to death. =/=

Have you ever had an Asian Pear

I think it is best that you stop playing this game and get back to fixing whatever 2nd world country you are from. -
Hello, I am currently playing an Elemental Shaman (lvl 45) on Zeth Kur. While I tend to put focus on leveling and getting to 60 I do enjoy the occasional wpvp. There are however two classes that I encounter that I am having trouble with; the BM hunter and the Rogue. While I understand rogue is pretty king at pvp in general, if I manage to break free from their initial CC/burst I am often capable of putting up a decent fight. I am however completly at a loss regarding BM hunters. I got the pushback immunity on crit tactics and have a /sit macro but it just is not enough since they can pretty much counter my 6 seconds of pushback immunity with multiple spells be it from their pets or the hunter itself. I am currently starting to level up engineering for iron grenades and the like but I would still appreciate some advise from elemental or even resto shamans on how to counter rogues and hunters. I watched Failz's videos but I simply never encounter allies that fight in the way they do in those movies. Regards. *This goes for solo pvp ofc, when im playing with my warrior and priest friends I perform much better against said classes.

Enhancement is the best spec for solo leveling. If you are playing in a group/with friends elemental becomes just as viable, plus you can heal dungeons to 60 in your elemental gear+spec. Elemental is also way better in PvP after 39 and gearing up is way easier since you only have to compete with other resto/ele shamans. (When you are a mail-puritan like myself ofc).

That is intended and how it worked in vanilla. The same goes for a warrior charging you in pvp, GT will absorb the stun but will remain up.

Hello, I have a question regarding itemization of non tier/pvp gear. When I look at the timeline of the servers I see "global gear improvement" at patch 1.10 Since I plan on maining enhancement shaman, will gear like Bloodmail Regalia and the Black Dragon Mail be worth persuing? I mean the set bonuses for black dragonmail for example werent added till patch 1.8 (prior to that they were just 4 items that had matching visuals and were made through LW). However when I logged on Nost PvE which is at patch 1.5 I saw a shaman that did receive the set bonuses. I am kind off at a loss. Also the scholomance sets tend to be shitty greens except for the chestpiece, when exactly will these kind of item be upgraded? Is nost/elysium simple selective when it comes to blizzlike gear itemization? Thank!

Another good tip for a pet that is capable in both pvp and pve is Deathflayer, located in Durotar. Its the only scorpid in game with an attack speed of 1.6 It has scorpid poison which is good vs mail and plate and covering debuffs and it has claw against casters. Plus it has the best looking scorpid skin in-game!

Lets say I manage to get Stinging Viper (slowest 1h mace in the game) in WC and use Rockbiter weapon, does it truly underperform so much compared to a green dagger (lets assume Tail Spike) with flametounge? From this thread and Undertanker's post I get the feeling rockbiter is better used on slow weapons?

Thanks for the tips. Since I do not really intend to focus on PvP until level 60 I will take Mining and Harb/Skinning so I can make some money. Also I would appreciate hearing which items are actually better for an enhancement shaman pre-raid bis on a fresh server since all the stuff from AQ20/ZG and DM are not available.

Hello, I intend to level up a shaman in enhancement spec, grind end game dungeons for some pre-bis and then start pvping as enhancement as well. A few items that are pre-bis are the black dragonscale set and chromatic gauntlets. My question is; is it worth taking skinning+LW from the get go and craft the gear myself? It has been a while since I have played at a vanilla private server so I do not know if crafting your own armor is profitable when you only play 1 character. Would love to hear your tips Regards.
