This doesn't sound bad depending on how much longer we have to wait for TBC
-
These different timelines need to stop. I hope you find the best solution.

"Once the server is live, Anathema players will be the first to transfer across. " To me it sounds Anathema goes first and rest will follow

Told y'all had nothing to panic about! :D Awesome news!

Progressing to TBC at somepoint sounds good to me or do you really wish to play vanilla forever? What will you do when you're all maxed out just chill in a city and gank noobies? Or level alts forever? There will always be vanilla servers but PTE projects are really rare. Also someone worried that TBC server would get shutdown like Gummys did but that ain't true. Gummy messed up on so many levels. Getting tier 3 before TBC is awesome because you can use your tier 3 pieces for a long time in TBC. Your epics wont be useless after first green quest rewards lol

Take a look at official WoW forums or a fansite like MMO-Champion. I'm sure you'll find toxic behaviour there as well.

Why Nostalrius PvE was flourishing and Darrowshire isn't/won'tChef replied to Summer's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions I would love to have a transfer option to Darrowshire as well :/

Which of the Four Servers is the best?Chef replied to Altersparrow's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions I'd advice you to pick one of the "less populated" servers. Darrowshire for a PvE server experience (if you don't want to get ganked while leveling or herbing but want to sometimes engage in world PvP as well) Zeth'Kur if you want a PvP experience with brutal world PvP and ganking. Original vanilla WoW was never designed to be a game for 6k people. Retail servers were capped at 2.5k players back then. Sure some of it was due to technical limitations but the game was designed with lower playerbases in mind. They didn't even expect every server to reach max capacity. TL;DR The huge playerbase can make some quests troublesome (while others get easier) but the worst part is mining and herbing since you got more people fighting over the same resources.

I know I know.. he just looked too hungry and I'm a fairly generous person :/
-
Seriously man. Do you get paid to do this or whats your motive? I don't get it.

Why is this stuff so personal for you? Just leave the server. There is no perfect staff nor is there a perfect server. Even the beloved staff of Nostalrius had its moments of corruption. This little crusade of yours is silly if I may say.
-
Well only Warmane came to my mind haha :D Sure I've seen 2fa somewhere else tho You been following p-servers for 7 years but never seen Molten/Warmane? Pfft they were the biggest fish before Nostalrius. Like 25k+ players 24/7 and still rocking over 20k as we speak. Shitty server tho.
-
Warmane (ex Molten aka Lolten) has had it for years. They use Google Authenticator and nowadays 2FA email as well.
-
Many other servers use 2-factor authentication

Well I'll be damned. A Private server staff is not being professional. Oh wait... They aren't professionals! Private servers can never be 100% trustworthy. You would need to have a very large team of people who are trustworthy to achieve your happy dream of a perfect p-server. They can never know wheter the guy applying for the job (be it GM or Lead Developer) is completely honest with their application. If you want a server with professional team go play retail or quit WoW.
