Your latency is primarily determined by your distance to the server (and your connection quality etc), sorry man. Try being an oceanic player. 340ms is a "good" latency

Someone in one of these threads suggested repeatedly entering your user/pass. I thought it was dumb but it actually worked after a few attempts, just spam login requests. I thought the servers had been down all day because every time I tried to login every hour or so (just once) it didn't work and it seems a bunch of other people are having problems logging in, so give it a try. (This post is for people who have been previously playing but today are not able to, not new players/first time logins who maybe have errors with their realmlist etc)

It's not really like that. What about a tweet or a forum post saying the servers will be down for x hours due to y? I can only assume there are or have been thousands of players trying to log in every hour.

apparently no one has any news about this, the servers are just down? there is zero information anywhere about what is going on

Is there an accurate way to check the server status of the realms? The website told me there were 6000 people playing today but everyone in this thread and some others haven't been able to access the game. Is there a way to get up to date information from the staff? The forums/twitter are ghost towns when there's a problem. Half the time the server is having issues the website will be down anyway.. where do people get news from?
