not sure what you're talking about. Playing on my lvl 60 mage daily and I haven't noticed a difference. Maybe you're fighting elementals that resist more freeze? They definitely wouldn't dumb down mages spell power without posting something in the Updates section. I'm still hitting crits for +1300dmg right now. Goodluck weakling.

I hope a lot of hunters are ready to get banned. Pottu didn't exactly mention WHAT pets are currently showing immunity to players attacks. So if I roll to a hunter and use my pet to attack some Alli and I don't notice that my pet is immune (probably because I'm using my other skills) and a GM sees this, I'm going to get banned? Seems pretty unfair. And I actually don't even have a hunter to roll on, so as a mage (who gets fucked on by Alli hunters) can you let us know which pets so that i don't fuck with the wrong guy? If you say that Boar pets are showing immunity, then I won't fuck with anyone with a Boar. Simple as that. But we kinda need to know which pets to avoid, and if we have said pet then we need to know NOT to use them. thanks.

and if you're so tired of being DDoS'd then leave the game, or switch servers temporarily. people think that because you make a new toon on another server, your old toon will be deleted. thats why everyone would rather bitch and moan instead of finding something else to do. read a book watch tv go outside masterbait make some food do some errands take a shower (plz) reroll a new toon find another game to play hit up a friend get a job theres a few suggestions for you to do instead of posting on the forums about server being down. sure, if you're doing the typical hunter "pet attack. auto shoot. masterbait" you'll realize your pet is God. But what if I send my pet to attack and I get ganked (possibly from behind) so I'm not even looking at my pet anymore. I'd be more focused on the Alli in front of me. This is bannable?

not sure what the dev's stand on it is, but I bet with my friends for gold. /roll lower number pays higher number 1g. Never got banned or even questioned. Now if you keep sending your friend 1g after 1g lets say 100 times, meaning you just transferred your friend 100g, then yes, that looks bad. I wouldn't even play after 5 wins a row. But i don't see how sending 1g and then getting 1g and then getting 1 more gold would be bad. But again, if you're on the receiving end of 100g, you're probably in a bad spot and we probably wont see you again.

Darrowshire is PvE. All other servers are PvP. Elysium PvP and Zeth'Kur PvP are the newest servers. Low pop but no issues finding groups and what not. Anathema used to be Nost. so it's the oldest server here. Anathema is about to be on AQ this month/ next month. You can check the timeline for that info. They are all as BLIZZLIKE as possible, meaning all 1x loot/ 1x exp/ and 1x gold. None are "pay to win" . I enjoy Zeth'Kur because it's newer, most people are barely hitting lvl 60, and theres never a dull moment. enjoy!

And people are claiming this server is dead? or that everyone is stopping their playing here because of all the drama... obviously that's not whats happening at all. Right this minute there's 17k people online between Elysium's 4 servers. This is not the signs of death. These are the signs of life! We all have our opinion's on Alex and everything he's said along with what the GMs and CMs have said (or not said). Does this mean they are stealing your money and that everything some youtubber says is solid fact? No, no it doesn't. None of us know ANYTHING about the real truth. All we know is that there's this FREE vanilla WOW server that is being hosted for us (and partly by us) so that we can enjoy this amazing game. That's the bottom line. Elysium and it's staff don't owe you ANYTHING except to host a server until the day it's paid up until. After that it's up to them to WANT to keep hosting and its up to us to help them pay for it. Weather they take a few bucks off the top is none if my business. If i get them $20 and they take $5 for themselves, I'm totally ok with that. Because the server is still being paid, and the server will still be up. If we continue to fund these servers and they never progress to AQ and forward, THEN we have a problem. That's all that any of us want. A PROGRESSING vanilla server. Not one that is stationary and never moving forward. All I can say is that I love playing here, in Zeth'Kur, and will continue until the day I no longer can. This community is awesome when it bands together, but we are nothing when we turn on each other and our Hosts! Again, Elysium is no where near dying. Things are a little rough right now, but you'll see, they are slowly clearing up, and this process can only make us and WOW that much stronger. - Maage

lol its WAY more then 100 people. And you said it yourself, admin aren't posting anything about it, so it's up to US (the community) to reassure others that this isn't the end. Things are up in the air right now, but they will settle down. This isn't "responding bait", this is myself (along with the posts that others are making) trying to keep this community from bashing itself. Not sure about you and Ironsides, but I don't want to see my time here wasted. Why level a toon to 60 just to give up and let the server close? I'd rather help the team by being a positive influence. Not some naysayer like you two.

just yesterday I read something from Pottu on these forums. Of course he didn't give any useful information, but he did say that things were moving on behind the scenes and to expect an announcement around the appropriate time. Pottu has never steered us wrong. He gives us hope.

you can find the donation screen in the control panel. and no, you can't level up for donating. This isn't a pay2win server its a play2win

was that back in 2004 vanilla? another private server? darrowshire? Again, when stating that a bug "works or not" you should also state what server it's on... That way people know their server should be fine and are willing to run it, and so that dev's aren't looking into a problem on a server that the community knows isn't there, but won't specify... Especially lately with all the drama and losing 2 devs. They don't need to be chasing ghost bugs.

When stating a problem, you guys should include all important info...such as what realm you play in... 4 servers might be totally fine, and only 1 has the bug. I vouch for this bug on ZETH'KUR. When you spawn a zombie, they continually spawn, and won't stop until everyone leaves the green smoke area on the ground. After a min, the smoke goes away and you're clear to try and summon again, or hit the boss. Usually we skip the zombies and just kill the boss. 9/10 times it's a wipe because of the spawns, but as a mage, I've been able to perfectly freeze 10 zombs or so, making it a little easier for the group. Like i said, sometimes we wipe, sometimes we don't. BUT I've never seen loot drop from this boss. Not sure if that's also a bug, but I've done ZF about 10-12 times on this toon and haven't seen anything drop from him.

lol yeah, let me reroll another toon on a server that has WAY to many 60's already in raids. Let me spend my 2-3 months getting to level 60, so that I can be 2 -3 MORE months behind everyone else... fucking dumbass. If you're making a new toon, don't choose the server with "High" pop. Choose Zeth'Kur. It's a growing pop, zero problems with campers, looters, always able to find a party for any quest or dungeon i'm doing. Sure the other servers are further in the time line, but do you think you can hit level 60 AND get all your T5 gear before that server dies? At least on Zeth I know that I'm in the middle of the leveling pack, jus hit 51, and EVERYONE is getting ready for raids. Some guilds have their 40 person raids, others are getting close. Zeth is still the place to roll.

I'm looking for addons to spruce up my Mage game. Already have UI's and what not so my interface is fine. Using questie, cartographer, WIM, and other misc. ones. Now I'm looking for Mage specific addons. Heard of one today that takes out the lag between the server realizing you've used a spell and allowing you to use another so you can potentially cut out .5 sec of the server talking to itself, meaning that you cast your spells .5 sec faster. Sounds against the ToS tho so I haven't tried anything with it. Anyone have any good addons they would reccommend? Also I've used Decursive and found it pointless.

When I use my rank 2 Ice Armor it's supposed to give me 494 armor and 11 resistance. but when i cast rank 2 ice armor it actually gives me 380 armor and 9 resistance... I've deleted my WDB, sent a ticket in game, I can't for the life of me figure it out. And it's not just Ice Armor rank 2. Even rank 1 gives me improper stats and also ALL of my Frost Armors. Any suggestions? - Maage

I'm looking at the buffs. When I cast rank 2 Ice Armor, the little buff symbol appears in the top right corner of my screen. The icon in my list of skills says it should give me 494 ice armor and 11 resistance. When I hover over the buff it says that i'm being give only 380 ice armor and 9 resistance. So you're saying that I should be given the correct stat buff while the ice armor is on me, even if it doesn't say so? I know the devs. are busy with everything so I can see how something small like that wouldn't be an immediate problem. As long as the buff given is what it's supposed to be.
