I don't understand why even talk about fairness here ? If you play a class with very low gph capabilities, what prevents you from lvling a hunter or a mage or whatever ? Or are you gonna say this is not fair either because there are players who can and will play the game more than you ? Following your reasoning everything should be dull, even, fair etc even concerning classes and specs gameplays ? To what end ? This expansion isn't about fairness, it's supposed to be savage and unfair. Just go play retail lmao. -
2 priests of equal caliber in skill is something you will never get. There are always better or worse reaction times or situation awareness or positioning factors etc. that make the differences and have high impact depending on the situations, BG and the setup you have. In the end I believe you got my point and I got yours, but saying you will take nothing but dwarf priests into a prem is same as stating you are not considering how the player plays its class in a team environment, which is what I highly disagree with. And this goes for literally race/class combos in pvp.

You are clearly playing/stuck on a DM/molten core progressed realm. Hunters coming in saying Dal Rend is their preraid bis, yet they don't even get a pair of Fiendish Machete when most of MC is made off elementals. If you really care about your melee stat sticks as hunter, at least get the proper ones for most of the content in that single 40 man raid you will be stuck with for months. Once you have 2 and properly enchanted, maybe you can start talking about rolling on Dal Rend.

Make it with pigtails, it's cute when you cast. Also loled at the "will only consider dwarf for premade". I know quite a bunch of human and night elf priests you'd die to play with instead of the random FW bots dwarf priests you probably play with on elysium realm x) If you limit your priests to their racials, you already fail at understanding the roles of a priest in a prem v prem go way beyond providing a layer of fear safety.

This sums it up quite well. And it also applies to kiting world bosses (understand the standard ones as well as Anachronos, Teremus, etc.) which is being disabled here for very poor reasons (custom phasing mainly added to prevent lag). The amount of preparation and dedication put into soloing bosses in dungeons are a core part of the class design. Just like rogues have pick pocketing, lock picking and stealth runs, mages have aoe farming (are you gonna ninja TP to mobs mages trying to solo Scourge Invasion packs if this content ever gets added ???!), warlocks have enslave demons, priests have mind control, etc. By nerfing these things (even though you fail at preventing major dupe abuses which inflated the economy in a destructive way, which had already been fixed before), you are simply corroding aspects of the classes as they were and should remain, simply because they are the little details that make vanilla different with its flaws and enjoyable. TLDR : Stop it with the custom gold farming hotfixes nobody wants to see on a so-called blizzlike experience project. -

1 black lotus is 135g at the AH atm. If as a mage with the trinket you can't get one within 1 hour of AV chain queuing, you should uninstall. But yeah let's prevent hunters from soloing tribute and rogues from pickpocketting or doing BRD coffers (which was changed in Cataclysm lmao) meanwhile. For the record : "We nerfed these instances to reduce the amount of gold that was able to be generated from 100g+ an hour by certain classes, to about 50-75g across the board." -

The funny part is actually that they're nerfing with custom "fixes" gold farming on rogues, hunters and whatnot because "higher than 60-80g/hour", but you have mages chain queuing AV with the trinket getting double or even triple the amount in one hour. You get 1 lotus in 1 hour you're already way past their intended "across the board" gph. Consistency in decision making is quite questionable here. -

Stop feeling entitled to chugging flasks, mongoose and shit when it's not even needed and yet you still wipe on current content. Like I said, it's a problem created by players. Massive amount of players raiding and chugging through more than 1 or 2 mongoose stacks / week for instance is what makes the demand way too high compared to the supply. Raising spawn rates just gonna make us herbalists richer or keeping more stacks for ourselves. There is no reason to list herb stacks at the AH for 25g when there are so many (dumb) players with thousand gold runing around willing to pay 50g+ for each stack on a regular basis. The reasons server has population drops are mainly due to terrible decision making from staff when it comes to opening new realms (and how they renamed them) as well as the never ending delay for AQ and stupid af War Effort. Herbs costing more is merely a side effect of a NORMAL inflation before a content actually "requiring" stuff like flasks is released. This kind of inflation on raiding consums/herbs is happening before every content release. You're just stupid if you don't understand why.

Do you really think there is a solution to a problem created by players mainly like this one ? I'd be glad to hear it. The only way to actually try to counter an inflation with no reason to stop is to print more money afaik x) PS : Don't say "faster repawn on herbs" etc. There is already a custom feature added to the game for that. If it's not activated that's because pop is back to blizzlike numbers so respawn on herbs/veins go back to blizzlike.

Funniest part is that all the gold selling bots are not even lvl 1 chars. Most of them are lvled (10+, 20+, etc.) chars on hacked accounts xD (Those used to spam streak ppl I mean, dunno for the ones sending arrows and shit in mailboxes) -

Where did you get it is 4% per day ? The only thing we've been told about it is that : "Posted 19 hours ago · Report post 20 hours ago, Ickus said: @Link the war effort did not autocomplete today. As I understand it, autocomplete isn't a flat % each day, can or can not happen each day and it's random. -
That is sweet and I believe a bit more players are putting time into it. Even if we'd finish it within 1-2 weeks I believe there are issues which kill the entire point of rushing it. There are things which still hold back a lot of people and guilds from even caring about it since they are powerless in their regard : - AQ not being ready. - PTR barely even starting when the applications have been sent a month ago. - Autocomplete not being set to a flat % each day but rather at the liking of whoever is doing it on the realm depending on their progress or not. - Player base has been told more than a month ago AQ was 80% finished during a Q&A session. - The staff's intent was to have War Effort completed within 3-4 weeks. It has been exactly 4 weeks (announcement was made on March 3rd) as of today and we're bit more than halfway through, even after numbers squish. Perhaps once these issues are being addressed, more players would be willing to spend time farming. For now it seems as long as staff keeps on making the wrong decisions and delaying, players on Anathema are just gonna keep on raid logging and let things rot on their own.

Why would you add what you said wouldn't be added until the gates open (aka badges quests and gear rewards) but you don't add/finish what you said would be added (final pvp itemization update) ? -

The buffed gear (armors and weapons) is already there. Applying the last pvp gear itemization update to Anathema has already been decided and applied but not entirely for no official reasons. As you can read in the official patch notes, these weapons were added to provide more diversity. It is fixing ranking rewards at the maximum rank being lackluster in terms of options and regarding classes and specs gameplay. In a sense if you don't want them before 1.11, you might as well be honest about it and request for talents to be as they were during 1.9. Ranking scene is dying. No rankers > No BGs > Dead PvP activity on the server. If you can't fix the RP calculation issues, you might as well ensure that all the ranking rewards are added to the game so that the more resilient players get an incentive at queuing for Battlegrounds. The thread simply explains the reasons why, outlines the fact few weapons are missing from that final itemization update and asks for a confirmation on when will the last part of it will be added (which is a question asked since 2 months already).
