Thank you for the memories bros.

Amen. PS: What about the other part of the final update on the pvp gear ? Did you mean 2 weeks after 1.9 is added or 2 weeks after AQ gates open (this basically postpones the update to few months from now on I assume) ?

[SOLVED] Petition to Elysium team: Reconsider R13 gear on Anathema.

Is this for real ? You want to kill Anathema or what ? You officially stated you will not revert the stats on PvP gear on January 5th and add the final pvp update with 1.9. This is one of the main reason most of Anathema player base is sticking around with the project : you said you intend to keep the pve/pvp gear balance on Anathema.

Na you guys are both wrong about the shirt. Sawbones shirt is the one, matches Bonescythe perfectly.

Except most players are wrongly knowledgeable and still think they will be able and required to use greater firepower elixir in AQ. Only a 1 hour weap enchant oil and oils of immo req Firebloom atm. You certainly do not need 2k Firebloom in your vault for AQ. This is just pure greed, don't make it appear otherwise. -
On which realm are you playing ? It was "fixed" during retail with patch 1.9 as said above. This should not happen anymore on Anathema. You can argue if Blizzard fixed it because they considered it was a bug to have pets not doing Physical damage, maybe it should be fixed beforehand here. However that would open a Pandora box I don't even want to think of. Classes are not "blizzlike" here @Overtime. They are intentionally on 1.12 mechanics for every realm, as opposed to progressive patches for itemization, raids etc. I do think (but that is just my worthless opinion) Pets' ones are a core part of the Hunter class. "Fixing" it before 1.9 could be a thing if you follow that logic.

I assume that you will disable the human racial for Brood of Nozdormu during the mount/title race.

Thottbot page of the item on 20 Oct. 2006 (2 months after patch 1.12 release) : "by BlahBlahBla, 9.6 months ago* Post-Broodlord repeatable quest item. 42000 or so are needed to get a player from hated to neutral. " "by WDBNet, 9.1 months ago* Once they're open, I doubt many people will volunteer to help you collect 42000 items" "by Atolmazel, 7.7 months ago You'll find 'supreme' level bugs, 2mannable but you'll probably be zerging them, and they drop 150-200 carapaces PER KILL**. They also give 50 rep each. So if you're able to hand these in, you'll be able to get just under 250 rep** for every bug you kill." -> * 20 Oct 2006 minus 9 months = 20 Jan 2006. Patch 1.9 The Gates of Anh' Qiraj was released 3 Jan 2006. -> ** 250 rep minus 50 from supreme bug kill = 200 rep for the 200 carapaces dropped. "by wertsdfgxcvbqaz, 2.7 months ago From official website The Hand of the Righteous After the player has completed the quest "Only One May Rise", they may undergo the quest, "The Hand of the Righteous." After turning in 200 Silithid Carapace Fragments, they may deputize another player to gather these fragments. Every time the player turns in 200 Fragments they receive 200 reputation, and is allowed to deputize another player. This quest can be completed repeatedly until the player is Neutral with the Brood of Nozdormu." "by Drowhunter, 15.9 days ago 42000 sounds crazy !" https://web.archive.org/web/20061020061605/http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52450 -
Less talking more farming.

The mobs in Deadmines (Defias Miners especially) drop tin and copper ores consistently, it is not just the ores you'd get from veins. Abort calculations ! =)

Wrong numbers. It should be 42k. Quality thread anyways. -
Friendly reminder that Elixir of Greater Firepower should not be added into the game before 1.10. You will not have it for AQ normally. Get the Firebloom out of your vaults wannabe Vurtnes and Drakekogs, thank you.

Would appreciate a precision on when the final pvp update will happen. I'm referring to this part of the announcement : "The final PVP update will be 2 weeks after the release of the Ahn’Qiraj launch for all realms." - 2 weeks aka in 13 days or - 2 weeks after the gates open (so in like 10 weeks minimum ?) ? Why not just apply it upon fixing what was not originally meant to happen yesterday with 1.9 patch ? Wouldn't it save you a lot of hassle to change pvp items back and forth ? I know it only concerns a very very marginal part of the currently active player base but I think all of them would appreciate to not be kept in the dark.

Horde need to pick it up on the War Effort
Slicy replied to Forest_'s topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
They said they did not account for mats belonging to inactive accounts/characters. Nevertheless the scaling on some materials got to be questioned. War effort gonna last same duration or longer than it did on a very populated retail realm. Let's hope the issues the patch brought at least get fixed fast... -
Difference between raid content and that kind of content is that the latter involves server wide features, events and whatnot which are not gonna be decided by 40 nerds blazing through an instanced raid. Wrong game / xpac if you are looking for hard content by the way. Also MC and BWL cleared day 1 by so few guilds you can still consider it is a challenge for the vast majority. Let's see how long it will take for a MAJORITY of guilds to entirely clear AQ40.
-
When you are going to realize the experience would be anything but "blizzlike" with 200 scarab lords runing around because ppl hold on to materials until they are done casually grinding fragments and will now have to turn in or nothing happens. Or with a war effort completed within 3 days ? Get a clue about how things were during the release of this patch years ago. Every server had a super low amount of scrub lords for an average of 2 000 - 2 500 players on most populated realms. It's around 3x more players on Anathema and we will have 3x more scrub lords with the mount. You have better ways of achieving that ? You think every scrub lord wannabe should get the mount regardless of the commitment it is supposed to represent ? Go ahead with the suggestions (instead of the QQ?) that would make sure things that matter end up matching what actually happened : an effort, as in war effort, and very few chosen ones able to be rewarded with what is to be rarest mount in the game. Stop whining start fishing.

Also known as opening the pandora box for industrial level of dodging. If this gets added you better make sure players deciding to join a BG queue pop auto leave other BGs queues...

You have at least 3-4 weeks to reroll human it's all fine. Your mistake to not roll the true master race of Azeroth with 12 years of game knowledge. x)
-
Thank you. Finally some common sense design for the Scepter involving what are the game's core aspects and rewarding dedication. What is the plan if the scaling on materials ends up not reflecting player base's ability to turn in after 3-4 weeks ? Say we barely are at 65% total progress at week 4. Would you just let it be like this or take a decision towards getting the content released in a timely (understand, closer to retail average duration for war effort) manner ? Few materials seem quite far off what we are able to achieve. But I'm probably not seeing the real bigger picture here.
