No, only the portion provided by your white hits will double, the rest of your abilities deal a set amount of damage and, on most, a bonus based on your ap. The only way your ability dps would double is if your abilities all required nothing but attack power. TL:DR: your white dps will double, your yellow dps will just increase
-
As said before there is no simple way of converting crit to ap precisely. The closest approximation to calculate how much dps 1% crit would do is to take your current dps and multiply by 1.01.. Also 14 ap = 1 dps. The dps on your character sheet is purely your auto hit w/o crits

No I meant uncrushable, as in no attack can crush as its been pushed off the table, also I'm thinking it is possible as a guildy has 66% as it stands with no scarab or t2 belt. It'll probably take a weird combination of gear though

don't forget the aq cloak enchant: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=20734

alternative: Refuse to carry a shield

My guild used to be loot council, loot used to go to people based who put in effort to improve their gear (enchants and prebis farming), who showed up for raids, who had been in the guild longer than 2 weeks (which is what Pur3Lun471c's post sounds like), and also who would benefit the guild the most (2 extra dps for a high geared player <<< 30 or so dps for a less geared player, or at least that's how it is from a guilds perspective) edit: Also, leaving after one loot misallocation? And especially on Ony? Double top kek

I forgot to mention that I have a tf binding in the bank

[GUIDE] Prot Pre-Raid-BiS-List / Specs / Enchants(Updated to patch 1.8)

You do realise that bop drops all your threat for the duration right? So that can only be used every 10 minutes -
... Go back to questing hub you are "meant" to be using. I.e. Kharanos fr dwarf/gnome, goldshire for human and dolanaar for nelf
-
To clarify, every spell receives a percentage of your spell power, how much is based on the spell and rank used. Eg. Fireball gains 100% however frostbolt gains around 80%, pyroblast is special and gains around 120%
-
I'm sorry to have to say this but the above reply is wrong. "up to x damage and healing" is applied based on the spell power coefficient of the spell you are casting
-
From a pure dps point of view I'm pretty sure almost anything is better than qs. But keep hold of it until you find something better and then just keep it for tanking/epeen reasons

New to vanilla warrior, looking for tips from veteran players.

level as either arms or 2h fury. Keep a supply of healing potions, bandages and (mage) food. If playing on pvp do not initiate a fight with a frost mage under any circumstances. Keep your weapon up to date and carry a 1h and shield in case you need to tank a dungeon. Also, stick at it through thick and thin because it'll pay off big time at 60. Big bags are a must (big as you can afford (go for 14s asap) and pick up skinning and either herbalism or mining and sell the leather to a vendor and the bars on the ah Respec once you're around 55ish to the spec you want to play as (58 if you want to tank raids at 60) -
as far as my experience goes (mc, bwl and the rest), the only bug I've noticed with taunt is that mobs will generally keep moving towards their previous target until they go out of melee range of me. As far as taunt getting knocked off, that's impossible as taunt has one of the highest debuff priorities.the only thing I know of that can is another taunt
-
What is happening here is that the new tank isn't generating enough threat to pass the previous tank's threat by 10% meaning the old tank still has aggro. The only way to fix this is to generate more threat or do what you have been doing
-
the only way to redo the avatar of hakkar event is to find someone else with the quest. However if you are only interested in the epic cloth chest then you can simply farm thewinged serpent minibosses on the top floor
-
Do not group with this person for DMN tribute runs. He will ninja the entire tribute chest. Evidence.
-
You are locked into the specialisation you chose until a much later patch when you can switch.

I have a question about the T1/2 sets on the pve server. Are they not meant to have 50% more def on them than what they have atm?
-
I'd like to steer the conversation back towards my original post about the t1/2 defence values, all other gear ingame has the correct amount of defence on it except the t1/2 which has the postnerf values (ie the ones aowow shows on their database). Is this correct or not?
-
I found the patch notes for the defence drop - it was patch 1.7.0 and it affected all items. "We have determined that the defense statistic was being applied to items too liberally, causing those items to be stronger than they should have been relative to other items of the same level with different effects. As a result, we have reduced the amount of defense points on all items with bonuses to defense by approximately 33% in order to bring those items in line with other similar items." Patch 1.7.0 notes
-
the reason I was asking was that I read in some of the old patch notes for vanilla that they nerfed all +def items by 33% because they handed out defense far too cheaply.
