Blizzard didnt care because they got $$ by multiple accounts. A private server doenst have this concern. Either they have a bigger playerbase and get more donations to run their hardware OR they have a smaller playerbase but dont need as much hardware. The game is meant to be played with other people, it's and MMORPG. You can solo stuff you can... solo. As soon as you want to do group content, do what the game is presenting as a solution: group up. The problem with your wife is that the GMs cant check because you play from one household.

As long as you can get 80% raid consumables and have high raid attendance you can get a spot - given that you actually learn the in and outs of the class. If you just want to log on to raid abit, sometimes even pugs, then dont bother. You need some dedication to get the reward of playing a warrior.

The elite orc quests should be minimum lvl 24, best to be lvl 26 therefore its tough luck. Redridge leveling eange is really 19-25. There are like 3 quests for lvl 17 characters, thats it. So you are at the lower spectrum. And you sound REALLY entitled. A lvl 19 PvP twink can easily kill some rando lvl 29 mage. How much health has a lvl 29 mage? 700? You can threeshot them...

This is the 2nd AV weekend already. Therefore chances are higher that people dont play for the fast win anymore but to see stuff they remember fondly. It's rather hard to see the elemental or the treeman plow through the respective faction, if you end a game in 10minutes.

When you say 4 or 5 requests at various levels obviously 3 to 4 arent maxlevel. At lowlevels there are alot of different classes being able to tank just fine: warrior, druid, paladin. Hell even a shaman in all mail gear with a shield comes up to 45% dmg mitigation and can tank the lowdungeons fine. Still as a warrior you will never have a problem to just start a dungeon. I play warrior and it takes 20seconds to 5mins to make a group. Play at your best and make people want to group with you again. When you play regularly people will stay in your level range and you can hit them up for future runs. I myself have like 25 people for different times I just added after successful and fun runs.

Very lowlevel dungeons are indeed kinda easy but not as easy as you describe. Expect to wipe repeatedly the first time in SFK at Wolfmaster Nandos room (its pretty important to cc or kill fast as the horrors are a nigthmare). Later on in lvl 60 dungeons mobs regularly twoshots clothis if you dont pay attention. Ive farmed Kromcrush in DM trib runs recently and everytime somebody fucked up and I got feared for too long and Krom connected healer died in maximum three hits, mostly 2. Another anecdote is Uldaman when the berserker troggs become abundant. They hit like trucks and will tear apart any group unlucky enough to lack CC.

I have to confess, I wrote my rand before reading these lines from you. I still think the overall graphics decreased as well. Comparing legion to classic you can see that classic came from WC3 with the cartoony way houses are built and trees are shaped (barrens and elwynn forest trees defying physics, anyone?) This cartoony artform is almost gone from what I see feel. It's still coloful but houses of the vrykul and alot of other areas just dont look cartoony anymore. That really takes away from the universe.

To spefically answer you question: Regarding changing the graphics on YOUR computer: The system cant comprehend if you change your character or make every black lotus 200 yards tall by changing game files. For personal preference: Personally I think 80% of the new characters models are really, really bad. My two favorite races - gnome and tauren - were 100% botched. Tauren look alot more hunchbacked and totally goofy, they are only slightly taller than orcs in legion and overall fierce pack of muscles is gone. For gnomes I played females mostly and they look if they are stuck on Premenstrual syndrome with their faces... totally fuckin botched. For fighting animations: EVERY. FUCKIN. ABILITY. the warrior does - my main class - has some streaks or flashy shit around them. Whirlwind? No - its not enough that your character just turns on the spot or leaps into the air to let his axe crushing down (mortal strike), NO! No you need some red streaks behind the weapon when it moves. First time I saw the new animation I was totally reminded to one of these horrendous asia grinders. It really lost its charm. In vanilla mages stand out because they can do all this flashy shit like blizzard and flimestrike. In legion you have one big clump of colorful ability thrown on the spot. Graphics really do decreased over the years. Polygon count increased, yes! Artwork and how they made use of their new graphics, no - it got botched!

- skinning and herbalism or mining (if you plan on mining Dire Maul: East later I'd go mining) - I'd go arms PvP spec and tactical mastery is really nice for tanking

My suggestion. If he was not 60 yet I'd specify on realmplayers: - Server - Race: Dwarf - Class: Warrior - level range: 40-49 (?) And see if a name hits the eye or just search through the names and see who has an epic axe as its rather rare at this level :)

Actually the only premades that really were able to put up a fight against the alliance premades were with two elemental shamans. Purging, double burst combo (lightning bolt + CL + shock) can put heavy pressure on the enemy. And resto shamans are pretty bad talentwise. Above the 21 talent alot of the talents are useless, finishing the uselessnes with a 31 points in resto 5mins CD ability that has 5 HP while you are mostly in the group with warriors to let them train others in the ground with WF totem support. So playing a elemental shaman the way they are meant to be played yields the best results: Purge, heal alot and nuke as soon as the moment arises as elemental shamans tend to run oom when casting offensively for too long.

QFT. It's amazing how many bugs that existed for AGES on Nost were squashed sometimes in 3 days of fixing and some more time until it went live with the next patch. Sweeping strikes change comes to my mind first. It ate up all charges at once when you had enough targets for whirlwind to eat them. It was ridiculously OP as you had the ability to oneshot 4 opponents at the same time. No pserver had this fixed and now - poof - it's done. I was so flabbergasted that I had to look it up on WoW Wiki because I already thought the pserver way of working was the intended one...

May I ask why? From my understanding DW lacks because of missing +% hit gear but why 2h-fury?

Frostmages: Just use /sit and take all victory out of their gank. Sometimes they stop. Other than that you have NO chance whatsoever. You might get lucky with gnomish death ray if they dont iceblock that and you crit them with 2k but other than that you wont get through their defensives and even if you do they just sheep you and bandage up/evocate and start anew or just run away.
