Do you know how much some of these guys invest goldwise into the game? Only ranking fully potted/flasked easily accumulates to 150g/hour for RANKING in BGs. Then take into consideration that you rank 15+ hours a day and you see how fast some need to make gold else they wouldnt have time left to rank. I still dont agree with point 1). I stress one paragraph I wrote before to underline my opinion: "People get triggered hard and start insulting because the bunch that wants "sheep griefing" and faction collaboration sanctioned are the same who made the game the pile of shit retail is today. You want a player driven problem sorted by GMs. Dont you think it's better for the game to have the two factions collaborate instead of having whack-a-mole and hope your internet connection is fast enough? Did you like to stand next to a shaman/mage/druid on questnodes trying to tag the named when you yourself were warrior/priest/WL? It's GOOD to have this collaboration on this server. It makes for a better gameplay and people who farmed to Rank 14 can actually put their PvP gear to good use instead of stomping some BGs and farming BRM/Dire Maul preBiS farmers. Now warriors and other group PvP classes actually have a shot to have fun outside of instanced PvP and play against other skilled players in the open for actual gain (gold). If anything it strengthens the hardcore scene as R12+ people and other hardcores just go raidlog if they dont have an incentive to dominate. I believe that farming Maraudon might still be more profitable for R14 hunters like Rottix than PvPing in the crater. But because they can do other things (PvP) than dully killing the same mob over and over, it's such a big gathering point for many hardcores. And that's part of the problem for the casuals. There are so many hardcores in Un'goro that you cant compete anymore. 99% of the server pop isn't willing to run a guild, what makes you think they are willing to fight the "problem" by making opposing faction friends via the forums to fight the enemy guy by sheeping YOU? They simply cant be arsed (TBH I cant either, therefore I make 4 friends and farm Strat Live for living - pun intended - and sell orbs/shards/cloth/shit). I mean people in general not you personally as I know you arent afffected."

You just said that the mafia is the one of the downfalls of the server. But you cant state that and forget that Nosts number went up while the mafia was around. You have nothing to back that up. If I just say now: It's good for the server because hardcores have something to compete over instead of farming plebs in BRM or raidlogging because there is nothing to do. But why did the number went up even though the mafia was on Nost? Care to explain?
-
The mafia was on Nost for months and months and the numbers increased all the time. Maaaaaaybe after the Nost shutdown LOADS of hype plebs came from retail and cant fathom that you need to be social to farm on a private server? :O:O:O:O:O
-
I mean that you need to farm dungeons and share over there. Like in twomanning DM:E jump runs with warrior/shaman or 5manning strat live to with tank, healer, 3 AoEer who just rip everything apart. People seem to forget how to make gold while being social
-
Gold buyers will buy gold nonetheless. They cant be arsed to put in the work. People get riled up over devilsaur leather because they think its the ONLY WAY TO MAKE GOLD OR ELSE WE WONT GET MONEYZ. This is nonsense. Ever heard of strat living farming? You can easily make 40-50g/hour with a 5men grp. The way gold farming is set up on this server is that you need to get social to do so. But because lots and lots of people came from retail because of hype they totall forgot what i means to be actually social in an MMORPG. They forgot how to make a coin and share cuts. They think they need to be able to solo farm 100% and make 80g/hour to be competitive. My point is that when a warrior wants to get BiS geared he can easily pump out 2,5k gold. Whether devilsaur set costs 250g (normal price before mafia) or 550g doenst matter to that person. Who cant farm 300g in one weekend?!
-
They are still ricidulously expensive. So the same guy who buys 500gold for the devilsaur will buy 600gold for lionheart, 900g for Edgemasters, 650g for Arcanite Reaper, 400g for Stronghold gauntlets and for 130g flasks. Get real, please.

World Wintrading aka honor farming would be: Horde A calls Alliance A to kill Horde A. After 20mins Alliance A let themselves get killed by Horde A etc. etc. Nosleep: People get triggered hard and start insulting because the bunch that wants "sheep griefing" and faction collaboration sanctioned are the same who made the game the pile of shit retail is today. I mean people in general not you personally as I know you arent afffected. But in my opinion I think griefsheeping is GOOD. It's fun for the sheeper and really annoying to the enemy but no real harm done. You might die, well bring a mage along next time to get yourself sheep healed. All these little stupid ways of playing the game made vanilla so great. PvP has always been rather simple in vanilla WoW but with all them little nooks and crannies to know about it's actually alot more skillful than other WoW iterations. Did you know you cant even use all these engineering gadgets in RANDOM battlegrounds in retail anymore?! This is so fucked up, and that's the way you guys want handle sheeping. It was healing people for 12years now. Only because people now make good use of it, you want to ban that? Do you want to ban bounties too? Say alliance player A got an item ninjad by alliance player B and player A now sets up a bounty of 50g to make noninvested players sheep all mobs of player B for 2days straight, would you want to ban them for collaboration? I think it's wrong to interfere with such ways of playing. If they want to be a dick to you by sheeping you, just set up a bounty and make them pay for 4 weeks. May cost you 500g but well worth it to taunt him every time he logs on dead. P.S. I really hope you can be bothered to read this wall of text, but I used gaps to make it readible :) P.P.S. Didn't you like the feeling in retail vanilla that the big bad endboss of the current tier raid wasnt defeated yet and the lingering doom was still upon you? Well, this charm faded long ago on pservers, therefore I personally adore the feeling of having an area out in the world that makes people tremble because it's a nogo area with 100% death certainty!

Do you know what win trading is? a) Both teams get into the match and one just rolls over, the other wins in 5mins b) One team opens up a game, both teams check whether they got the same match name and one doenst go in to the BG. Now before you win the game, most times you didnt even see an enemy as it takes time for PuGs to fill up the spots the dodging premade just gave up. In both points you DONT PvP. You run across an empty field an bring flags from A to B WITHOUT actually killing the opposing faction. So there is NO PvP involved.
-
But why on earth did they make forums in the same moment they did the game? Why let the player communicate with the enemy faction on forums THE DEVELOPERS SET UP if you dont want alliance and horde to talk to each other? They could've easily made it so that the forum sees that you are horde player and you cant see what the alliance says and vice versa. But they didnt, they wanted to have the factions be able to talk to each other.

So.... Why is everyone on horde so inept at PVP?ismeckye replied to Numeta's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions Well, pug vs pug horde has advantages due to racials and lolrets BoFing themselves seeing their warriors getting torn apart by mages while they themselves crit 700dmg whitehits.

So.... Why is everyone on horde so inept at PVP?ismeckye replied to Numeta's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions It's pretty much the same phenomenon as it was in retail with EMFH. In retail everybody and their mom went alliance because of human to have a huge PvP advantage. So mediocre people tagged along and went alliance too because they couldnt find good PvP mates anymore. Here most tryhards from Nostalrius who rerolled (Grizzly and others) went Alliance. They have HUGE advantage when premading due to paladins. That leaves horde with less skilled hordes who get steamrolled.

Did you know that Shayss spoken out loud in german means "shit"?

Training Costs and other issuesismeckye replied to [email protected]'s topic in General Discussion & Suggestions Dont forget the crests. They sell for 30-1,5g/each and they drop plenty!
-
Yeah, except thatpeople know since the early days of Nost that you dont take 400gold from some random stranger because he's "kind". You dont put lvl 19 greens for 250g onto the AH.

Noooo, no es bueno - Escuela Family Guy

Let's finish this discussion once and for all.ismeckye replied to Justme's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions The main difference is that the person didn't go to that dungeon to farm some 0,03% drop chance item to equip. It happened out of the blue and could've happened out in the open. I really can see both sides of the argument and currently I rather go to the "sell BoE for own upgrade". Would you pass on Staff of Jordan when grouping up to kill the ogre patrol for the Badland quest because a mage was in your group who needs that weapon as preraid BiS weapon?
-
I invited mostly rogues and furies to my BRD runs because I made them really happy that there are constant runs for HoJ where the tank isnt rolling. There the groups looked liked: tank, fury, rogue, cloth DPS, healer. Worked like a charm and seeing the furies/rogues celebrate their HoJ was nice every time :)
-
As a rogue you can almost always have fun PvPing in any spec you, as mage you can AoE grind and make money in the hundreds? Whats the advantage of a prot warrior, huh? He cant PvP, he cant make a decent coin! His advantage is that there are hundreds upon hundreds of rogues who will run dungeons anways with him. When I reserved I did it like this: 1. TS reserved, when I got it it was 2. Dal'Rend MH reserved, when I got it it was 3. Dal'Rend OH reserved, and first slots filled were ALWAYS rogues. I have an advantage whereas I have lots of disadvantages, I will work around my advantages, dont be so seflish, do you want even less people tank for you? Do you think reserving bindings when a T2 warrior runs his own weekly MC pug is unethical? He leads the raid, he inivted everyone, he has all rights to do so!
-
	I roll horde because Orc/Troll/Tauren > flimsy gnomes/femhumans.
-
Well, thats what shamans do against rogues as well. You dont really have the time to cast as he will either interrupt you too much or get out of deadzone. But Lightning Shield + Shocks normally do enough damage to outlast hunters. Grenades help alot to cast LHW/CL
-
"win-trading?" Don't race discrimination!!!ismeckye replied to Northdog's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions Whats the difference of opening empty games and joining the game and sitting their as if its empty? There is none.
-
Hmmm, I thought its evident that I'm talking about war stomp. Having a good melee training you, warstomp + LHW/CL can be the difference between casting a critting 1,5k LHW/ 1,5k CL or dying. So yeah, if you missed it, I was talking about war stomp
-
Orc -> enh as you are alot more up and personal. Tauren -> ele, you basically got a another mini natures swiftness for heals (lesser healing wave as opposed to healing wave with NS) and a fullblown natures swiftness for damage (chain lightning). LHW is worth alot more as elemental as your +sp gear increases healing as well making your healing spells quite potent.
-
Hello folks, I'd like to ask you how to gear an elemental shaman on the Elyisum/Zeth'Kur content patch. I'm not familiar with the preupdated gear, therefore I hope somebody maybe know the items that will make elemental shaman viable at this content patch. Cheers

Everyone agrees .stopxp command is a good ideaismeckye replied to kamandi777's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Twink Uncommon to obtain but still theoretically obtainable by trading/collecting gold by other means.
