What I've seen is: The more damage you do, the long the mobs follow you. And some mobs indeed hit just ridiculously hard. Wolves in Jintha'alor can hit for 1,8k on clothis at level 51. 3x thrash and when they crit they just delete anything that isnt tank.

Watch how he plays, play like him. Start doing elemental shaman wPvP/leveling at lvl 40 to be good at it (cast time reduction/uninterrupted casting/higher % critchance). In lowerlvls 20-40 its just pure shit.

Well, in premade PvP paladin > shaman for healing and keeping the team alive. Therefore if people are diehard PvP healers, paladin all the way.

On Zeth its really easy though.

Or you could do it like people with sense and fight yourself in like its a dungeon already. People tend to rush too much in front of dungeons and start dying. Dont be one of them. Fight your way through properly

Well, the biggest hit that ZK takes is at 1-6pm. That is the time chinese get online and start playing. Having such a low population around these hours indicate that there arent as many chinese as on Elysium and Anathema. This alone is something that makes me stay on ZK. Besides I really dont feel to contest Blood of Heroes and other stuff you only can acquire in the open world with 10k other 60s. What were the barrens in the first few days of Elysium release will be Black Rock Mountain ganking, Blood of Heroes, Lotus and other outdoor stuff camping. It will be a shitty experience. It feels immersion breaking to run across horde and allianc every 10seconds or never losing sight of some other player. I dont want to be always around people and having 90% of the mobs dead around me. That doesnt feel like an open immresive world to me. Today I nearly died in the ravine in durotar where the harpies are. On Elysium they were camped by atleast 20people, so as soon one spawned it died, therefore there was never the danger of dying. I can go to retail if I want to pushover level without any difficulty. Same with the roguefeather harpies in charred vale in stonetalon mountains or the defias pillagers in Westfall who are the #1 deadliest mob in wow history. I never felt threatend ONCE because so many people were slaughering them over and over. Normally these mobs were FEARED among the playerbase. Now its retaildifficulty faceroll on Elyisum.

There is a benefit from it. It's fun. If you have fun it's not waste time. It's just as legit as gearing up or ranking. As long as something gives you pleasure in a game, why not pursue it?

The definition seems to differ from EQ1 to WoW. In WoWs definition twinking a PvP char is simply decking it out with the best gear obtainable for said level. Definitions for other games may be different but they dont fit the WoW dictionary.

Why are you afraid? Less lotus farm, it seems china prime time is low pop that means less chinese! Thats good. Less ganking. You will be able to get the Blood for Heroes for once (on Anathema you can forget it as people get the spot, log out, log 1min before respawn back in and bring 20 friends). There is so much outdoor stuff that isnt done properly for a 11k endgame pop.

On first day I was in after 4 hours after server launched. Ran over to Northshire and mobs were alive. Why? Because mobs respawn every 5seconds after being slain when its heavily populated!

Real low blow for casters. Caster will have a real hard time against BWL geared warriors/rogues who will drill them a new one.

I have to say that having weapons as soon as BWL gives back some kind of exclusiveness. Let me explain: Back in the day many people didnt get past Razorgore because they were too bad/ not enough gear/ whatever. So highend gear was the gear which set apart the average from the high end raider. But todays raids are comparative joke with all the knowledge, good hardware and internet and overall skill level. So everybody and their mom raids MC/ZG/BWL. AQ onwards not so much. So for me it is kind of blizzlike as it FEELS alot more like vanilla because now you have people who actually dedicated ALOT of time to the game to get the best gear possible. MC and BWL (unitl Chromaggus) is mostly faceroll today.

Just so you know. They plan to improve the r10 gear earlier.

To be fair, people who want it changed on fresh server very well know that gear will become kinda bad/atleast not worth their time in april when people blast through AQ.

Actually they worked on stuff like Rumseys rum, wizarding oil for +mp/5 on weps, trunks, sagefish and the like and stuff like this shouldnt work/drop anymore before patch 1.9. Comes 1.9, stuff comes back. Its just like Viskag doing too much dmg at first and Alcors being BoE whereas it should be BoP until AQ.

You can always report people like him. Maybe a ban for 7 days does him good. :) It's definately againt the ToS. So if you feel obligated, you really should do that.

Then the best way would be to reverse it. Upgrade weapons later and set gear with BWL/ZG. Most caster classes only rank because of the set; weapons are mostly better from PvE or atleast not much worse so: Chromaggus dagger, nef mace, nef staff. PvP set gets replaced failry quickly or isnt BiS from the start at all. Whereas one hand weps are OP. So by allowing to get set gear be viable in PvP earlier it makes the ranking worthwhile while rogues and warrs get awesome weps from PvE anyways fairly quickly. Hello rogue people, I'd like to ask how big of a problem warlocks are for alliance races in worldPvP 1on1? Is it worth it to go engineering (its a nobrainer) and for the second profession blacksmithing to get the glimmering mithril insginia? What do you guys think of that? Yay or nay? PS Obviously I would need a farm char of some sort then, but nevermind about that.

When playing dagger I just run up to the mob, hit it once with SS, get SnD going and then Backstab away on it when strafing. When you get the hang of it you can backstab everytime energy is up.
