People would be farming Naxx for gear to raid Karazhan 40 with 14+ Bosses Trying to Max Rep in (PVP)Azshara Crater Questing in Outlands Hellfire at level 60 Running Stormwind Vault full of Onyxia's followers Caverns of time Dungeons Epic 5 man dungeons (Black Morass, Durnhold Keep) to get Keyed for Battle for MT Hyjal 40 man Tier 3 Raid At Least 20 new World Bosses Removing the 5 man cap on All dungeons adding the original spawns to Instances Tweek some Gear/Stat Mechanics Do what I could with what exists in Emerald Dream With Countless level 60 Farming areas available.... If only I had the time.....

Try not to burn up about things to much. Just think outside the classic Box. Work some other mechanics to your advantage. For instance we should run a 40 or 20 Paladin raid and stack stupid amounts of Crusader on mobs.

Good job! After I ware-out my welcome as a Prot paladin. I'm looking for some things to do afterwords that isn't Cut and Dry healing builds.

They should have never touched Item changes pre 1.12 patches. It would be nice to have them all change as they did in game. But the bottom line is if you can't get it all right don't bother because its going to cause issues. Most of these kids didn't even do BWL, AQ, in these patches any ways.

I'm positive that the only threat from a feared tank was the boss cleaving melee. I tanked as a stance dancing warrior in vanilla.

Please think about making spirit not a garbage stat on gear. Change how spirit effects Mana/Health Regen. Think outside the box and maybe have spirit add some form of Aggro Reduction. Just throwing out some Ideas. I know this is not a blizzlike Change and The first comment is going to be "NO". But please consider that the curtain has been pulled back on how bad spirit effects regen. On Live we simply didn't know any better, and we were ok with spirit. Now we all know better and Any piece of gear with spirit means Disenchant/Vender. Would it really break the game/change things if spirit was given a boost in effectiveness? I know we can not change how the client views spirit. Ideas? Reduce Threat Increase Combat Health Regen to a non garbage number Increase Combat Mana Regen to a non garbage number (This might take some serious tweeking to not overpower some items) Reduce the chance your spells can be resisted Increase Periodic Damage Increase the potency of Beneficial self Buffs (Slice and Dice, Innerfire, Battleshout, Righteous Fury, Fortitude) Increase Proc Chance (Clear casting, Weapon Procs, Seal of wis/ligh, Windfury) Just some ideas.

speaking of disorient effects. I see mobs drop agro from feared targets. I don't remember this being a thing on live. Is it only some fear spells? I remember seeing Onyxia still focus on the MT if he was feared. I've seen other fear spells cause the tank to lose agro.

I recently got the book in a DM group. I know spell power is the preferred primary stat on a tanking sword, Has any one wielded one of these as a paladin? What were your thoughts? I'm debating on splitting the gold with the group or getting the sword. I am a Prot paladin and plan to continue being Prot even into raiding.

Yeah, I know I won't be main tanking any bosses so threat won't be that much of an issue. I'll probably be off tanking some trash while the raid focuses the warrior target. The proc should have a high uptime due to seal of righteous being able to proc the buff also.

I finally got 60 on Anathema server a week ago and I'm having super bad luck with tank drops in BRD. However my healer has gotten lucky and even with crap gear I think we can handle Scholomance due to paladin superiority over undead. I heard that Deathbone has the blue quality stats with Stam/Def/Mp5 on Anathema. Is this true?

db.vanillagaming.org is not Elysium DB information. There are 2 versions of Deathbone. The Green/Blue set with spirit and the all blue set with Def/stam/mp5 db.vanillagaming is usefull for looking up most items however the DB on anathema varies for some items/quests

As a paladin you don't need 31 points in holy to heal dungeons and groups. Holy Shock is only really useful in PVP for fast heals or ranged damage. 5% crit and illumination are nice but at low levels crit just isn't available for you on gear. You can tank well enough as ret to get you to 34 before going prot for reckoning (PVP) skill.

Hmm 1-60 there is going to be a deadzone in there for a few levels. If you are a solo player you should level to 60 as ret. I only recommend going prot if you have a healer friend. At level 34 you can go 5/5 Reckoning in the prot tree. So I would start with Ret until 34 AT LEAST. Reckoning is the king pvp skill of revenge. I just recently hit 60 (Yesterday) And there have been a TON of times where some one would gank me. I go back loot my shame and run away. Find a mob to sit in front of get 5x Reckoning stacks. Go find the guy who killed me or my friend and DESTROY them.

There are a Ton of people with this mentality. I noticed while leveling just about every herb except end game herbs are dirt cheap in the AH.

I have 2 types of tank modes I run with. 1. 1-2 mobs Judge Crusader and rock rightous, Normal assist the tank 2. 3+ Mobs Judge Wisdom on the "Last Kill target" have the DPS focus a caster mob. I Dump max rank consecrate. The focus caster mob usualy runs around a little, but its nothing the DPS/Healer can't manage. Setup 2 works Extreamly well for me with out being super OOM all the time I use Flurry Axe in my main hand and just newly obtained a Skullflame shield. Tanking as a paladin all comes down to your group. They have to know how a paladin tanks and that they can't go ham on 1 target to early (I'm talking to you impatient rogues and warriors)

This is defiantly one of those times when you question what to do next. Do not give up on…. The people you enjoy playing with. The time you have invested in that shiny loot. The characters that you play who have an established name for them self in the community. The server that has connected you to everything I have mentioned. Elysium I am not going to question you on what happend. I question what happens next. How are WE going to go forward? Rebuild, Reunite, and Remember the Legacy

^^^ You can tank/Reckoning pvp build, but tank DPS specs are not really viable due to how good the first few talents in holy tree are and how required vengeance is. You are better with a Holy/Prot spec if are are looking to fill 2 roles
