It's a shame to see though that after recovering your account, you still didn't immidiately setup 2FA. Let me know if they revert your character though, as far as I have seen they never restored characters who got deleted by hackers.

Could try turning off addons, clearing the WTF and WDB folder. Maybe reinstall the game. Though as said before, some weird combinations of cc disconnect you.

OKAY Matey, Mr Big Poo, Heres how you can solve this. Do you still have the original installation somewhere? (so installed and ready to play, at least logged in to your account once). You open up the folder where you installed WoW vanilla. Then you open the WTF folder, in there you should be able to see a realmname/accountname (sorry am at work atm, can't check). Inside the folders of the WTF folder you should be able to find your accountname. If you don't have that installation anymore, you're out of luck :(

It's common for something not to correctly update the tooltips. You will have to test it out with combat.

It usually fixes itsself after a little while. But other fixes are: Getting someone to summon you. Getting someone to queue you for a battleground. Making ingame ticket. Best solution though: Don't use a Mac.
