(FOR ANY account/game/whatever the fuck you use 2FA for). Setup Google Backup on your phone, go grab an old phone and test out if you set it up correctly that it backs up your Authenticator (though should not be needed if you backup the recovery e-mails). Have common sense.

As answered before, NO, sorry :(. "is it possible that my account is bugged and there is some troubleshotting steps i can take?" Yes, it could be bugged. But since you deleted the wdb + wtf folder and you still don't see the characters, the only chance is that it's bugged on the elysium server side, a corrupted account. But that's VERY RARE. Only a GM could help you with that. ^ Indeed, check out if you are in the correct realm. And if you use more accounts, make sure you logged in to the right account.

Transfers do not work anymore for quite some while now. You will NOT be able to get your character back, sorry! But even when the transfers were available, it was a broken mess and MANY people including me lost their characters.

I suggest everyone to find a good guild. A good guild has plenty of people that can help you with crafting and are trustful. And tbh, guild ubrs,lbrs,mc and ony runs are fun as fuck. (ZK here, don't have more raids unlocked atm).

You should've seen old EverQuest and it's spawntimers. (Dungeons were NOT instanced..) But yeah spawntimers like this are normal in vanilla, that's kind of the charm. Annoying things can be charming! And big tip: Make friend, find a guild, get groups!

How I remember it: - You were never able to cast spells on a mount. - You did not dismount after using an instant spell (addons do that for you) - You cant collect herbs, open chests or whatever with mount, and indeed it doesn't auto dismount you. Addons do that. So yeah long story short, get an addon to do that for you, and you were never able to cast spells on a mount without dismounting in vanilla.
