Mate... bind a pet attack macro to scroll wheel up, and petpassive to scroll wheel down. Boom, pet is now easy to manage. I'll give you the 1-10 thing as a hunter though. Soloing is brutal, even if you can kite, you just don't have a mana pool to support it. I suggest grouping with someone else up to 10. Makes it a breeze.

I highly suggest key binding both pet attack, and pet passive, and learn to control your pet well, like sending at another mob while you go to loot/skin.

Also, if it's the video I'm thinking of, most of the fights were a total crap shoot as well, and took MANY attempts per.

It was a massive upgrade from WoD, but it definitely has a lot of shortcomings. When I play legion, I feel like I'm playing an action game these days. Some elements were ripped directly from D3, so perhaps that's why.

Fellow rogues! What macro are you using? I tried the one from Oto's guide, but it doesn't really seem to function how it says. It really only starts the autoattack if a sinister strike goes off...which is normal behavior if I'm not mistaken. Just macroing /cast attack will turn autoattack off if you press it while autoattack is engaged. So again, what macros are you all using while leveling? Thanks

Which is the point of the thread. It's definitely not a landslide in favor of "its ok". Instead of adding to the thread with an actual thought processed sentiment, you posted a garbage tl; dr that wasn't even close to being accurate.

The issue is very clearly not that he can't farm them himself. The issue is same faction griefing via sheep. People can say it's not griefing all they want because of the rules, but it's like holding your hand in a person's face without actually touching them and then arguing that you're doing nothing wrong. It's a case of shitty behavior being protected.

If you level as MM, your damage will suffer unless you're using aimed/multi on cd, so you'll be drinking constantly. If you want a playstyle change, then great, but I've never found it efficient.

I've had this issue when taming pets. I've seen some suggest closing the game and deleting your cache folder before going to tame something.

BM does great in leveling dungeons. Your pet does a larger portion of your damage (obviously), so you had better git gud at controlling your pet well. That said, if you were MM, you really don't have the mana pool or regen while leveling to really aimed shot and multishot on CD, unless you want to drink A LOT. I've found using rank 1 multishot was a great balance while leveling.

Was going to say that eventually someone is going to say "but you can backstab mobs by strafing through them" I've watched multiple rogues doing this while leveling, and guess what... it looks dreadful. Strafing around, facing the wrong way for white damage sometimes, and energy capping because you're trying to use a positional ability while soloing is laughable.

Following the "code" is great and all, but just don't get upset or annoyed if you are attacked by another druid at some point, even if it's in moonglade (GASP!). If you're on a PvP realm, it WILL happen at some point. And by the rules of the server it's 100% ok.

Yes. Level 14. For alliance, you have to first get the quest from a trainer in Darnassus BEFORE going to moonglade. I'd wager horde is the same.

I was able to see it earlier this week using Luna unit frames, but I've since switched to xperl, and cannot view it using that. That said, Luna wasn't keeping track of the mana used to shape shift into form. So it would be off by the mana cost of a single shift into cat/bear. Still useful though.

Unless you plan on swinging that weapon a whole lot, you go with whatever will give you the best stats.

I don't play on pvp, but a lot of players will follow the "red is dead" code.
