According to the tooltip, the difference between 1/3 Improved Shield Block and 3/3 is only the additional duration. -

Depends on how this Warden system works. Might be interesting to know. And you can edit .wdb files as well.

Model changes are client-side only. They wouldn't know if you were using one. Unless it affects map or gives you an edge in some way.
