Looking for GM's help in the first day of New Year!
Microdots replied to dxyess's topic in Help & Support
If you are making a ban appeal you can make one in the official ban appeal section - https://forum.elysium-project.org/forum/351-ban-appeals/ For all the information needed for your official ban appeal can be found in - https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/28545-ban-appeal-information/ Best of luck to you. -
What addons are you using if you are using them. As I had a friend have this same issue.
-
That is understandable. As there is no current information about how the gm's will handle the change of guild leader status if a guild leader where to be banned or left the game for long periods of time. You and your guild can only hope that the GM's may transfer it if it is within their duties to do so. Why must you be so hostile? This is the help section and I have clearly just offered help though it might not be the one you wish to happen. As clearly stated in the Terms of Use: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/21966-terms-of-use-rules-regulations/ By how you are acting hostile on a community forum when someone is trying to offer you alternatives if you are unwilling to wait for a GM's response is not that breaking the forum rules? How are you any different than your guild leader who was banned and then their ban appeal was denied. Based on your actions why should a GM intervene and resolve your guild leader issues? When it clearly seems you don't want to even think about the alternatives and only want the easy out.

I can understand its frustrating for you and your guild to have your guild leader banned and the ban appeal to be denied. But, why should the staff fix a problem that was caused by a player and not by the program? The server players probably already heard about this and your guild may have lost face and their standing as a guild may now be tarnished. So why not start a clean slate and remake the guild and build up your honor from the ground up instead of trying to hold onto something that has been tarnished due to the shortcomings of your guild master.

If the ban appeal is rejected then guess it's time to make another guild or wait till staff has time to handle your problem which was initially caused by what ever reason it was that lead to the ban. So all this actually falls on the party at fault and not the staff for your shortcomings. Maybe next time don't break the rules and get banned.

If your account is banned it is best to make a ban appeal - https://forum.elysium-project.org/forum/351-ban-appeals/ For all information regarding how to do a proper ban and what information the staff want can be found here https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/28545-ban-appeal-information/

There really is no need to bump this since Ajinn is looking into the ban appeal. These types of things take time. So just sit back and be patient.

Hidden 30% XP nerf to all the quests in every zone??
Microdots replied to Anagard's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
So this would explain why I was always under level even after clearing every quest in zones. I even spent a few hours grinding mobs since I was missing a certain level to progress to the next zone. -
I personally like the herb / mining for a druid due to root + shapeshift. For mainly gold making I'd recommend herb/mining then feed it to a crafting character and get some of those flasks / protection potions. Ideally shadow protection potions are a nice profit in the coming future :D

At least give us more info about unbanning?
Microdots replied to Mr Oger's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
So coming from someone who once held the title of Lead GM on a very known 3.3.5 server. Ban appeals are handled with delicacy. You will get a response when they get to your ban appeal. Information about the ban appeal process is and should never really be discussed to the public as the way each ban appeal can be handled differently. Just be patient and eventually they will reply. -
Re-release Names on non-transferred accounts
Microdots replied to Paklad's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
It is way too soon to even do this even if it was to happen. -
Update chests in dungeons
Microdots replied to ironskillet2's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
There will be ninjas in every game that has players playing it. Most venues will just leave it up to the players. As there is no definitive way to stop a ninja. If someone "ninjas" loot from you in a raid or group then don't invite them again and let your guild / friends know. That was how we handled ninjas back in vanilla. My friends / guild / and I never went and QQ'd to Blizzard about ninjas because it happens and it is up to the players to handle it. -
Welcome to heavily populated realms. This happened back in vanilla where a ton of players are doing gathering professions and you rarely saw anything. By increasing the rate of which ore spawns would have a number of things happen. 1. Prices of ores would drop - which would hurt the economy 2. Increasing rate of the ore spawns would take away from the replay value of the game. People spent weeks trying to get certain ores back in vanilla due to some of the ores being constantly farmed. 3. It wouldn't be a vanilla wow server anymore if changes are made that were not originally part of the vanilla wow game. Changes that make things easier would make the servers non vanilla.

Welcome to how it was when new servers came about on retail. You had to fight for your right to get on the server through 2k+ que times. With the que times here it feels very much like vanilla wow when new realms popped up. Enjoy the rush to 60 for a few weeks on the new realm it will be a challenge to your patience. It shouldn't have a limit cap. It's cap should be what the server can handle and nothing less nor nothing more.

All I saw in this post was, "QQ leveling is so tough. Too many people can't get quests done. Etc." Welcome to how it was back before there where tons of realms on retail. The Elysium project is designed around being as vanilla like as possible for vanilla wow. That being said adding exp bonus isn't vanilla like at all. If you don't like how it is and think it's too hard for you head back to retail and spend your money on a boost as it seems all you want is an easier way to end game.

Hardly doubt they will tell you what is going to be done to prevent it as it would allow the people doing it to bypass it again. Just be patient and things work out. Honestly, it was expected since people are jelly.

Is Enchanting one of the hardest and most expensive prof to lvl up with?
Microdots replied to Arigatos's topic in Enchanting
Honestly, it is not expensive but time consuming. Sure you can pay for convenience and spend a lot of coin to power level it to 300. I reality by the time you reach 60 if you have been grinding/questing/dungeon running should have reached 300 profession with ease due to the mass amount of green/blues you get. -
If you are looking to make some coin then go with alchemy and work on getting some end game flasks. On the PvE realm I am about to sell them fairly easy at 100-500g each.
-
Quiet sure it doesn't work 100% of the time I will get a video and show that it doesn't work as intended on the PvE Realm.

So IMP Soul Drain doesn't proc as often as it should. Unless there is some internal CD that isn't stated. So I spec'd out of imp drain soul since it doesn't work 100% and put the extra 2 points into Fel Concentration.
