Spawn rates are due to population... so Black Lotus respawns after 30 mins with around 7000 online, maybe 25 minutes with 8000 online etc. If there was only 2000 online it would probably be 1 hour respawn.

Hey all, this has always been very confusing since you can't actually craft the Thunderfury until BWL comes out anyways but if you check the timeline out. https://elysium-project.org/timeline At launch it says the Bindings won't be available until someone has received the Talisman first, then at 1.6 BWL it says they are available now. So which is it? Can they drop before BWL if someone gets the talisman or is this an error on Nost/Elysiums part? Would appreciate a 100% confirmation on how this actually works. Thanks.

So 4 people have equal power in the project, okay what happens when one of them go rogue and start abusing? Is there someone above them (like yourself Shenna) to stop that even though you've stepped away from the project? I can understand their concerns with the whole Chinese/log deleted thing but some of these people may just be power hungry and looking for any good reason to give you the boot so hope there is some safety guards.

Sounds like a bunch of bads who need to re-roll alliance cause they can't handle the difficulty, I welcome this so it balances out the alliance to horde. No particular persons fault all the transfer guilds other than one or two play Alliance because they need easy mode paladin buffs in PvE and PvP. Reminds me of the flavor of month classes in retail, anytime one class got an upper edge, all the bads re-rolled to get carried from the upper edge. Take a challenge.

I disagree with all unblizz-like changes, and we've seen many of them. I don't see how you can justify vanilla being blizzlike if you nerf every gold farm in the game just because it's good/easy gold when it was that way in retail on every server for years pre-tbc. Make it blizzlike or close down your servers cause they ain't blizzlike.

And why do you think the player base is 70% casuals to begin with? It's because Blizzard merged with a cashcow corporation like Activision who only aims at maximizing profits. This idea Blizzard is making the game for the players out of move is a bunch of bullshit and you need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid. The old-school blizzard community is dead, it's been dead for many years because the old school players got shut out with the mass produced monthly play and quit casuals that join from seeing the commercials on TV. Honestly Blizzard has shit over so many portions of it's player base it's shrinking, 5.5 million subscribers is quite low compared to the past when the game was build for real gamers, not casual swine.

A lot of this has to do with all the try-hards going alliance because they want the ez mode racials and paladins for pvp and raiding, not much will change until try-hards prefer the challenge rather than the flavor of the month choices like retail kids. Time to hop on call of duty and get my aimbot set up so I can feel good about myself.

If you need to work together to farm gold then you're probably shit and have a huge ego if you bother to defend it, there is no reason one faction can't control it if they deemed to bother. I would at least agree that to average player, having a useless faction in agreement with the other faction doesn't help them any (duh) but it is what it is and unless GM's want to do something about it nothing will change so no point crying about it, move on.

Assuming you have proper gold professions or a class that can easily farm gold like a aoe farming mage. You can do your raids on X X days, then respect to PvP for the rest of the week... and 100g can be made in just couple hours to a few hours if that's black lotus farming, aoe farming BRD etc. Not a big deal if you put the effort into it, granted you want to respect back and fourth each week. Otherwise make a 2nd character for PvP only.
