Exactly 100%, this is why I'll never agree with retards like Alexensual who try to blackmail staff into doing what he wants with his community influence of sheep just because he all alone disagrees with Elysium on a topic. Exactly why NOPE shouldn't have done a charge back. Ah well now.
-
I would completely disagree with you. While I can respect their disagreements with Elysium I find throwing a tantrum and acting like your above everyone else will only produce negative results like Alexensual who thinks he can just boss around staff because he has a lot of influence, unfortunately a lot of high end guilds act the same way across many games. They should have never charged back their donations, they were donations.... too bad if the circumstances have changed that's just life. Alexensual donated $1000 to Elysium which he advertised for on a stream... only to charge it back and use it for himself, money he likely would have never even got as a donation if it wasn't meant to go to Elysium so I'm surprised he even has 1 subscriber right now. My personal opinion is they planned to abuse and jump ahead of things and were extremely disappointed when they found out the war efforts were higher and the AQ items were changed to make it how it should have been made... this should have been expected since it should be blizzlike, having people stock up 100k of supplies before hand would defeat the purpose. • Exodus of Nostalrius Development and Quality Assurance - Understandable complaint, but stuff happens in any game, deal with it. • Name change from Nostalrius PvP to Anathema - This seems really silly considering Nostalrius broke ties with them.... does it matter?? • Questions over corruption - Agreed, but from what I gathered this didn't affect any items/gold being generated, just people getting unbanned. • Server population decline - Who wouldn't expect this after the huge hype any game has? I just don't get it. • Broken promises i.e. AQ40 release, PvP gear stats - AQ got pushed back because of the top reason/corrupt set back? Deal with it. • Unrealistic Ahn'Qiraj War Effort requirements - How is it unreasonable when so many people stocked up massive supplies ahead of time? • R12/R13 gear debacle - Yeah that sucked. Really I understand some of their reasons here but 1/2 of them just seem like things they tossed on the list to make it seem bigger than what it is because if you quit for 1/2 of those reasons you'll be too high maintenance to be happy or play anywhere else.

PvP instead of cooperate with opposing faction and you wouldn't need to deal with tag battles. I highly doubt latency has anything to do with it, I live across the world from where the servers are hosted and latency is hardly an issue at all. Again, if you're part of this problem that so many people complain about which it sounds like it then your voice is not required here as you'll obviously be biased. It would be like me asking President Obama how great he did and getting a "great answer" while the country is burning down all around. There is nothing more frustrating to someone than having their own faction help who is suppose to be the enemy solely cause they are working together, I don't bother with devilsaurs or have skinning so it doesn't affect me personally but I can at least understand how annoying this is especially after watching it happen to someone in a video on the forums here.
-
Thanks for your brain dead logic of ignoring the issue and making excuses to justify how you should counter the issue. I'll come to you for more educated opinions. Meanwhile, to all Horde or Alliance players whom are not suppose to be able to talk to each other. Just deal with having to not only fight their faction but your own too. Oh wait he said "rival us", sounds like a devilsaur farmer who is biased and would explain the full retard mode comments. Enjoy the challenge.

The NOPE Firebloom Massacre - A Short Film

You can be a smart ass all day, doesn't change facts. Blizzard went well out of their way to prevent us from communicating with the opposing faction in-game, so what lore has to do with that is... ??? Cya.
-
I was referring to 99% of people who do not play/work together with others on the opposing faction and people within this thread stating they shouldn't be lazy and do the same to compete....
-
Use google, you'll find many threads from retail players complaining about it, couldn't tell you if it's okay here but doesn't mean it's Blizzlike or should be tolerated any just because it's 2017 and people can so easily communicate to each other now, I certainly would hate my own faction sheep spamming the enemy just b/c they are working together over Skype.
-
Seriously don't be so ignorant, it has nothing to do with moving forward. Horde and Alliance are suppose to be enemies, they are at war with each other and this is EXACTLY why you can't talk to them in-game still to this day. Just because you choose to be clever, go out of your way to make friends and communicate with them outside the game in order to work together in-game doesn't make it okay. This wasn't intended, still isn't and shouldn't be allowed to monopolize. Trying to argue that everyone else is "lazy" or can do it too themselves is not an argument. I don't believe we should have to ask any Horde or Alliance player to do the same thing as a small fraction of players just to compete with them fairly. This logic is so stupid it's hilarious to know people actually think in their mind it's okay and should be normal. Let's just handicap 99% of the population.
-
For the average person yes which is why telling people to "do what they do" is a stupid argument, because nobody goes on the forums to communicate where to go, what to do, or conspire to monopolize in-game and the forums being popular makes all the difference as it just proves how common of a thing this was. The main point here is, people talking on the forums (even if cross fraction) means nothing, and promotes nothing in-game unless you conspire with people of the other faction solely to abuse (sheep spamming the enemy) etc.
-
I played another MMO who had the most popular forums and made it into the Guinness book of records, less than 1% of the player base even used for the forum the same day they played the game. Not a large part that's just a huge overshot, just because 70% of the population logged into the forums once a month doesn't mean there was a in-game communication conspiracy going on.
-
A correlation between role-playing and ethics? How about get an education and taking some of your own advice? There was and perhaps still is a clause against cross-faction communication, it might be different now but it wasn't back then. Just stating because you could talk to them on the forums (out of game) doesn't mean it was meant so you could communicate in-game to work together otherwise there wouldn't be a language barrier. Its like liberalism logic all over these forums, cancerous and stupid.
-
Yeah I'd like to see the studies on how a lot of the population of a game actually bothered with the forums especially back in 2004 or in any game for that matter, just not factual.
-
You mean if you actually used the forums? Very very small % of players did and last I checked the forums weren't used to communicate like Skype, Discord, Ventrilo etc. today, it was also very rare to nonexistent for players to publicly post that information. Either way you can keep making excuses for the 0.1%, at the end of the day this wasn't intended.

Buff Thunderfury (the not so legendary weapon)
TTL replied to Plask's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
It's simple, the game should be on set on the last patch for vanilla, meaning TF should be buffed, too bad if warriors get nerfed and it's not a reason to keep example #2, TB was buffed back for a reason b/c it was shit, and warriors probably got nerfed for being so OP that late in the game. -
The fact in 2004 most gamers didn't play $15 a month game yet alone $30 for two accounts. Second unless you actually had two accounts you would never communicate/make friends with others on opposing faction. This wasn't intended and it still shouldn't be, chances are most devilsaur players have a 2nd 60 from the opposing faction to further abuse. The only reasons people would defend a monopoly is because they have friends to suck off, or profit from it personally. Telling others to do the same isn't ideal considering if they are playing the game the way it was meant to be, it wouldn't be possible. Ethics folks, get some.

Buff Thunderfury (the not so legendary weapon)
TTL replied to Plask's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Agreed it should be changed to 25% chance to proc on white hit and yellow hit. Anyways can anyone confirm if bindings can drop pre-BWL as long as someone got the shard of the bindings to drop first? The context on the timeline is a bit confusing. -
Good rate of gold per hour while farming?
TTL replied to lineupofpeace's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Roll mage, aoe farm BRD, collect 50g+ an hr. -
I think the problem here is rogues assuming they are gods and control everything, I play a rogue so not being biased here. Hunters BiS is hunters BiS.... if you don't want a hunter to roll on it either 1) reserve it, or 2) don't invite them. Denying BiS drops to people is clearly ninja looting in non-reserved groups.
-
So.... Why is everyone on horde so inept at PVP?
TTL replied to Numeta's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Are these the same people who brag about how great they are? Reminds me of all the pathetic retail sheep who play flavor of the month classes for advantages only because somehow they find enjoyment in the game being easier than a challenge. -
Explain your logic other than full retard mode? Dal'rends are BiS stats for a few classes, while we can argue they are more beneficial to a rogue because combat spec swords actually scales on the weapon damage and they are just a stat stick for hunters doesn't change the FACT it's still BiS for both classes. Either don't invite hunters in your group, or make them a reserve otherwise you're just a retard wasting everyone else's time and being a ninja by denying others what they should have a equal chance to get in a non-reserved group. As for the x'bow comment, it's not BiS but 2nd BiS for hunters to start with, secondly this is why you don't bring a hunter in your 5 man party if it's an item you want to get otherwise yeah, hunter can roll on it too.

Vysr, from horde guild <Horizon> steals 450g in materials
TTL replied to Sokje's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Agree with Oakenlix here It has always been rare to get scammed even on retail because Blizzard would refund you and BAN the person who scammed you. Ninjalooting however players were never banned on retail so you're right it's a community resolved issue. Anyways... read the rules, it would make no sense for them not to enforce scamming cause this community would be shit like any game that openly allows scamming. -

TTL replied to Sokje's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Why wouldn't the GM's do anything about scammers? Clearly they should or this game would be cancerous as hell. I'm sure any GM can check trade logs and see you gave and talked to that person, just report them in-game with a ticket. -
Joins the UBRS run as a resto shaman, need rolls on Truestruke shoulders. <Make Horde Great Again>, not the first cancer from the guild. Figured I'd give you all a heads up unless you want this guy rolling on everything he can use for any spec lol. http://imgur.com/a/760ll
