I'd like to repeat something I said on Reddit regarding this sort of stand point, and why it's not a clear black and white situation.

Most of you know about the bad thing now, hear me out you might be a bit for forgiving. Hell, even if you're not the silver lining is that I just showed 10,000 people in the private server community (in less that 20 hours) that you will get banned if you buy gold. So maybe that'll help kill demand a little. Plus it's quite a funny video!

That's actually not what i said! I said you might, and some might not. I could have, i could have tried to run away from everything instead of actually dealing with it. I knew there would be angry people, but I'm just going to continue on with what I'd do anyway and face people who are upset at me.

I go to every single servers website I review and post my video of their server, none of this is new. You are spinning my normal practice of taking my review to that community as ego. Here's the next thing. I'm not going anywhere. I made my mistake, and I'm going to take the fire for it. That's my punishment from the community, fine. I stand by that video and the message within it. But you can swear and be as rude as you like, I'm going to stay.

That's like saying why forgive anyone for doing anything. Apply that sort of thinking to the real world and it's an awful way to live. The staff punish by account banning. They don't ban your IP, so if you want to start again you can, and I have.

Hello! On YouTube I go by the name Dodgykebaab and I make reviews of different private servers. I have a decent sized following for such a small community and my videos do quite well. I try to give opinions on different servers while injecting my own sense of humor into the video at the same time. Watch the video, I appreciate everyone has a different taste but you never know. you might enjoy it.

Proving it's really me i support one warning system. People are humans. Humans make mistakes, so long as we remove the gameplay changing element in the process, I see no reason against my proposal.

I really am, I can prove it if you like. i feel this way because this: people are human, we all make mistakes. People should be allowed a chance to learn. they are banning people for buying gold, so if they can do that, what harm is done from giving a warning while removing all their gold at the same time? if enough people get warnings that word will spread and stop others from buying which in turn stops the sellers. a outright ban is less likely to result in people sharing the story of their warning and does nothing to stop the farmers while at the same time gives a little grace to the players

Personally I think a warning system for those who buy gold. Get caught buying gold, then you lose all the gold you have and receive a letter in game as a warning. Get caught a second time and you get perma banned. Instant bans for a one off gold buy are way too harsh.
