It's a PvP server, you could have easily joined the PvE one if PvP is too much for you. I don't know what to say, besides the fact that PvP on Elysium will probably never change.

I usually assist players in technical issues, but unfortunately, I am receiving the same error. Usually this is due to time not being synced properly, but I assured that my authenticator was synced with Google servers. My current workaround is to disable 2FA temporarily.

Hello and welcome, I am sure you will fit in perfectly here! I know this is a bit off topic, but many players are encountering errors with their 2-factor authentication. I actually drove to New York today with my girlfriend and was attempting to use the 6 digit pin, but unfortunately it was saying that I was giving the incorrect code. I assured that the time was synced through the settings, and attempted to re-open both softwares. I am able to use the pin when accessing the control panel on the website, but not when logging in. For now, I am going to just disable 2FA from the control panel. I have seen several threads similar to what I am encountering, all of which have been left unresolved. I was wondering if you know what is going on here, and how players can deal with this issue. Thanks, and again, welcome!

Hello, let's see if I can answer your questions. I do not know 100% for sure, but I could never imagine them transitioning the current servers into TBC by force -- Some people play here just because it is Vanilla and not TBC. When they hit the end of their timeline, I would imagine the possibility of them creating a new server which is TBC.. At which point you would be able to transfer or copy your character over. I highly doubt that there will ever be a server in the US, but there's always the possibility of them attempting to. Countries like France can still be pursued similarly to the United States, it is just much tougher. And Dun Morogh is one of the only places that does that, I felt the same frustration leveling up. There are a couple of others, but Dun Morogh has been the most noticeable for me.

I'd assume they calculated some issues with the longevity of their population considering the fact they recently became free to play. I tried it once, made enough money to get a decent ship, and pirates instantly destoyed it. I stopped playing after that haha

Can you try doing that again and see if another server works? It is possible something is wrong with the server you are trying to log into.

I doubt you are banned, usually the message for that involves contacting customer service. Try going to your wow folder and delete your WTF folder and your WDB folder if you have it.

Isolated the issue: you are using AMD, inferior to Nvidia in all aspects

I would try just waiting and seeing if it loads, it could just take a while on that screek and is being canceled and interrupted.

Delete config.wtf. Go into main wow folder, open realmlist.wtf Copy and paste this in: set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org That is the only thing that should be on the file. Save and exit and try opening wow again

Try deleting your WTF folder. Try running wow.exe as administrator. If you are using windows 10, run wow with compatibility settings for Windows 8. Let me know how it goes.

Can you be more detailed in what you mean by this? You should be able to play immediately after creating account and downloading game.

Delete both those folders, wow will recreate them on its own. Run game as administrator and with compatibility settings to windows 8 if you are using windows 10. Let me know how it goes.

Oh, nevermind about directx since you are using win7. Try putting resolution to lowest and then restarting. If that doesn't work, make sure your drivers are updated and update them if not. You can always played in windowed borderless worst case scenario.

I personally had this issue and resolved it by using directx 9. You could try that. Make sure your graphics driver is updated. Also you can try to set the resolution in game as the lowest possible, apply, and then restart the client. That sometimes makes it pop up. If you're using windows 8, it could possibly be an issue with how your BIOS interacts with your GPU. You could try disabling secure boot and enabling legacy drivers. Since you are using a laptop, I am doubting that you are using dual monitor, but in case you are, that could be the issue too.

I don't know if this works, but inside your WTF folder is a file called config.wtf. in that text file, you will find your resolution. Try manually adjusting that and see how it goes. I've never tested it, but I know that is where the setting is. Let me know how it goes!

I mean, there's always a chance they might restore your items. I am just talking from experience regarding players who have been in similar situations. They generally have not been refunded their items. But there's always a chance!

III. Character/Currency/Item restoration Elysium staff will not recover any lost or deleted characters, regardless of circumstances. Game items such as experience, gold or equipment that you have lost through accident, very rare failure of the server, or otherwise, cannot be restored. There are two exceptions to this: Unique quest items or keys can be restored with sufficient evidence that the player had previously obtained them. Raid items with the rarity of Epic and above can be restored in the case of a server crash/roll-back, providing an in-game ticket is sent to us which fulfills the conditions below a. Exact date of the raid; b. Video of complete encounter which also shows the raid ID, loot and complete list of raid members; c. Name of the player who received or should have received the item. Restoration of any item is always at the discretion of Elysium staff. Falsified information will lead to immediate account closure.

I'd suggest doing the other option to recover your account instead of the forgot password one, and see how that goes.

Hello, I have seen this before. You likely still have your hearthstone, but an addon is preventing you from seeing it. I suggest you disable all add-ons temporarily, and check if it is in your bag. If it is, then you know it is an add on related problem, and need to investigate how to configure the add on to view your hearthstone. If not, then I recommend following Cogfather's instructions and seek in-game assistance from a Game Master. Best of luck!

Get 2-Factor Authentication from the control panel!!! Unfortunately, elysium staff will not reimburse your lost items, unless the items follow the guidelines in the rules (I.e. quest items) Sorry for your loss.

I definitely disagree with phrase passwords. Most brute force utilities focus on combinations of english words. Best password is nonsense garble with uppercase, lowercase, and symbols. You will see that in literally any business-level enterprise.

When the server crashes, it continues like normal for a while, then suddenly stops. I am betting that you lost your item due to the server rolling back over the crash. If that is so, then the logs and data will show that you never got the item. Im just assuming, since I don't know the exact situation, but if that is the case, then it is unlikely you will get the item back. Unless it is a quest item, that is a completely different story
