That means that there is a compatibility issue with your computers default settings using WoW.. Can you copy and paste what your config.wtf says now?

I am pretty sure that this outbreak of gold sellers and spammers would be much, much less prevalent if the users listen to the staff's advice about having unique credentials. I also believe a majority of these gold sellers are using compromised accounts -- And continue to abuse exploits that have absolutely nothing to do with this server or its security. I would suggest announcing that passwords will be reset for security purposes as a global announcement for a couple of days on a regular interval, along with an announcement on the forum. This way a majority of active players will be aware of this ahead of time. The problem currently is that the staff have a stickied thread regarding possible security compromises... But a minority of the server population actively uses the forums. While the issue with gold sellers is being worked on, I think it would be extremely beneficial to do a server-wide password reset so all users can have unique credentials. More and more accounts are being compromised because a lot of users do not make their credentials unique. Edit: At the very, very least, the staff should implement a regular global message warning about the importance of changing their password.

Delete your config.wtf and reopen the client

The only reason your account would be hacked would be for the same exact reason the staff warned the players about.. Don't blame the server, blame yourself.

When you are saying letters, I am assume you are sending Private Messages to GMs? You say you have seen other players ban appeals -- that is impossible, ban appeals are private. Just wait for yours to be answered and you will be given the exact reason why you were banned. Nothing more you can do other than wait.

Nothing more than speculation, why not just wait and see if you are right or wrong, instead of complaining about something you don't know?

Oh boy... Sorry, I'm not sure if Macs have the same file structure as Windows.. Not sure if I can be much help here. On Windows, in your WoW folder, there are a bunch of folders like Interface, Data, etc... and there is one called WTF. Inside that folder, there is the config.wtf file. If you just copy and pasted that into a post here, it might show important information on why you are being disconnected.

Also you need to use WoW.exe, not Launcher.exe, just in case. Just saw that you said launcher

I wouldn't doubt it. But, the way Elysium operates is on a strict schedule (timeline) basis. I highly doubt anything like this would ever happen until the end of the timeline, late next year in 2018.

That's okay, I am the same way haha. Social media creates entitled people IMO. If you are browsing the forums, you will probably see when the maintenance is done, or I can update this thread for you.
