I know what Direct Damage is. I'm talking about damage dealer as a role. I know that it is common for english speaking WoW players (or maybe english speaking MMORPG players in general) to abbreviate "damage dealer" as "DPS", it just doesn't make any sense.

I never understood why it's "DPS" on english realms. Is "Damage Dealer" incorrect english? It doesn't really make sense to call someone a "Damage per Second".

Maybe it's hard for them to adapt. Rushing through dungeons as fast as you can is an important part of aggro management now. If a tank doesn't rush on retail, he is considered as a bad player.

Mach ein paar Tage Pause und warte darauf, dass sich der Zustand normalisiert. Das wird er. Jetzt kommt der neue Server, tausende Spieler werden wechseln. Der Rest wird sich hoffentlich asoziale Anti-AFK-Methoden sparen und somit sollte es ohne Warteschlangen klappen. Ich konnte heute sofort einloggen.

"Needing the gold" is just greed, nothing else. Some kind of a rule I learned in raiding guilds on retail (WoD / Legion): If someone rolls need on a boe, he has to equip the item immediately to bind it.

This is cancer. You need /w for trade, grouping up for quests, building groups for dungeons, etc.

It's not the players fault that the system is buggy.
