Pet abandoned me at Loyalty 4.

While we are at it: What about pets that are at the stable master? Do i need to feed them? Does it take longer for them to become unhappy and run away? Or do i need to take care of them as much as i would for my active pet? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hey! I am thinking about leveling a hunter(Horde Side, probably Tauren or Orc if that matters) on the new server and was already thinking about what professions to take. I write this in the hunter section because i think theres certain things our class can do, that others can not, like running certain dungeons, soloing certain monsters and farming different places. Also keep in mind i wont be leveling up very fast, and probably be in the mid field, so i wont be one of the first players to have recipe XY and make lots of money out of it. On the new server a lot of herb and mining nodes will probably be overfarmed and it will be a pain in the butt to level these up but i still think taking one of these besides another profession will be good. Are there any arguments why one is better/easier to level than the other? Are there maybe dungeons or spots i can solo/run as a hunter than have a lot of certain herb or mining nodes? Enchanting: Since hunter is capable of soloing certain dungeons (for example maraudon or DM, with enough gear ofc) i thought it might be good to take enchanting and disenchant the items you get there since the materials will be more profitable(?) than simply selling the items. Also for leveling the profession im not bound to nodes and could just start running lower level dungeons with lvl ~30 to get some mats and level up with disenchanting! Skinning: think this is quite clear, its easy to level even on high pop server and even tho i know it wont make big money, a little bit is still better than nothing. Leatherworking: together with skinning it can also be skilled up quite easily, but its probably not the big money maker. Then again a little bit is better than nothing or not being able to skill up a gathering profession because its overfarmed. While Dragonscale Specc could make Mail armor, i think tribal is still better for hunter, and for making money aswell if im not mistaken. Alchemy: Cool profession, especially with herbalism. Not sure how much it would cost to level it up by buying all the herbs early on if i cant keep up with herbalism myself. Probably will return the money at some point and its also pretty useful id say. Since im not interested in Tailoring, Blacksmithing or Engineering(at least for a while since i dont think leveling that one up is easy and it while its useful its probably not as profitable as others) thats it. Would really appreciate it if you could help me out, especially with the questions if herbalism or mining will be easier to level(both still hard ofc), if enchanting how i imagined it is any good, and if alchemy is a good thing to take if i cant keep up with my herbalism. Maybe you can give me some recommendations or tips, and maybe tell me if some of my conceptions of how the leveling/profession works is wrong. Cheers!
  3. Hey Guys! Now with the new server coming up tomorrow i was wondering which starting zones might have the most pleasant leveling experience while everything is full of players. Now i know that every area will probably be a pain in the butt, but im still interested. I've tried the Horde ones, and im especially curious about these, but alliance starting areas would also be interesting. Now we all know that certain starting zones have higher population, since about 40-50% of players play either human or undead. tauren and night elf starting zones on the other hand probably have the smallest population, with Durotar/Dun Morogh being second place. But its not all about how many players there will be but also what quests and other experience you can get there. I know some of you might try to get some experience while exploring and stuff, but i'd rather focus on questing/farming mobs in the starting zones. Now while taurens/mulgore will have the lowest population among the horde, the quests there are also really bad for such a high pop sever since the majority are collect quests, that cannot be done efficiently in groups and have really bad droprates.(<50% for most of the stuff) Orcs/Trolls in durotar do actually have a lot of kill quests, or quests where every group member can loot the specific items. Sure theres also a few low spawnrate collect quests, but it was much better than mulgore. Undead seems to have a pretty balanced amount of kill and collect quests, but just because of the high population this will probably still be the starting zone, with the hardest to finish quests. Now im curious about your opinions about this. Will leveling in durotar be easier than mulgore, or will the high pop make it worse than the collect quests in mulgore? Or maybe tirisfal isnt even as bad as i thought? Also while we're at it does someone have some input about barrens vs silverpine forst? I've actually never leveled in the latter, but based on what i've heard its rather bad and probably still not worth even if theres less players. I'd also be interested about your input of alliance starting zones. Cheers!
  4. I guess Mulgore isn't too bad for grinding like you said, just questing will be bad. I think i'll try to get to OG/Lvl 3, then grind the small starting area a bit, and then get into the other grinding zones all around Mulgore. Thanks!
  5. Tauren Hunter. I've tried leveling through Durotar and Mulgore twice now and while i don't really like Durotar too much the quests in Mulgore are just nerve-racking with their bad droprate and the big areas where you have to hunt the creatures for. I'll probably still try to do a bit of questing, and if it is really going to be unplayable i try to run at least to Orgrimmar, but probably not Tirisfal.
  6. Based on what i've seen and read so far, alliance exploring(especially human i think?) seems much better than horde, but the latter might still profit from it. Either way, even if you're doing the exploring tactics, what zones are the best to level from 4+ and 10/11+ after that? I'd still go for Durotar/Barrens.
  7. Hey thanks for your answers! Im pretty much set on my class/race combo already, and i wont just chose whatever race has the best zone! Yet i am still curious and i might even consider changing starting zones with my characters to get some bonus XP, flightpaths and then level in said best zone!

    Hunter Macros & Tips [Redux]

I already read that on the old forums, and its a really good guide! It helped me a lot out on my lower level hunter and also convinced me that hunter is the class i want to play on the new server! Keep up with the good content!

Professions as a Hunter on new server

Thanks for all the Answers! Already had a conversation with you yesterday Raziya haha, but i am still quite undecided. LW/Skinning are probably easy to level and do give me lots of useable stuff i can make for myself, but somehow i find that profession so boring. Even tho you can buy basically all Potions on the AH i just think Alchemy is much more fun since i can just make every funny kind of potion myself, and decide when to do it and what amount i want. Engineering is a profession i actually want to go for sooner or later, but i just thought its way too expensive to do while leveling, since mining will probably not be an option. But maybe its not even so hard if the AH will be flooded with low/medium level ores at the start of the server? The Enchanting was just an idea i had, since i would not mind to start soloing low level dungeons before i am lvl 60, but a lot of people already told me i probably won't be able to solo these before 60 so i could just pick that up later on if i really wanted to... The thing is i really wanted to level professions already while i am leveling and keeping them in the 5*characterlevel range every 5-10 levels or so, and not just pick them up later on. I might just try herb/alchemy and based on the AH prices just level up either alchemy or go switch to engineering if i think i can afford spending the money on materials while leveling.
