Well it depends on your guild. Most of the time Main tanks are Core Raiders or Officers, which means that they are really often available (if not always). In my guild, getting a spot as a priest is difficult, feels like there are so many of them. I guess Offtank warrior with Arms or Fury spec will have more chance to get a spot, but once again, it really depends on the guild you're in/applying to.

SuperMacro ! Allow the commands /script and is basically what you need if you want all these Burning Crusade and above commands such as [target=..] etc.

Bear in mind that Rested is 1% exp per hour when staying in a Capital or Inn, up to 150% total (a level an a half). I'm telling you that because I have many of my friends that only level through rested, but never gets to 60. In my opinion rested gets only really good once you reach 50 :P

What would you like to do with your character ? PvE, PvP, farming, or just leveling ? As for leveling : -Warrior is quite a pain to level with until level 40, but expect getting spammed by "Wanna tank *dungeon name* ??" random whispers. -Priest gets easy at this level too, as Shadow with Mind Blast + DoT + Wand AFK, but it's really hard to get a raid spot as Shadow at max level, so will most likely have to be a healer. -Rogue is really hard before level 20 but then it turns alright, but the main issue is that if you want to raid with it, you'll have no choice but to be Combat Specced, and Combat is quite awful for PvP. -Warlock is basically the easiest class to level with, after Hunter, and also you can play a viable build for both PvE Raiding and PvP. -Shaman is very fun to level, you do tons of damage due to weapon enchant + lightning shield + totem, but same as priest, if you want to raid you'll most likely be a healer. -Druid is quite a pain to level, and except for 5-man tanking where feral excels, your guild will want you to be a healer aswell (like Shaman and Priest). -Paladin is fun to level, but it gets really boring to spam flash heals in raids at max level. Reckoning spec is funny though, you can basically run into a capital and one shot whoever Leather/Cloth wearer you want. -Mage is pretty easy to level, you won't really be able to AoE farm too much since all spots are overfarmed, and you might get ganked while fighting 15 mobs. You are very useful in PvE, will get spammed by Water/Food/Portal requests, and "DECURSE PLS" messages, also it's a little bit boring in raids as you will be spamming frostbolt pretty much (or decurse sometimes), but in PvP it's really fun to play with in my opinion. I hope I gave you a brief idea of what you would like to chose as a next class.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'll use it, atleast on my alts. I've been used to stay in /DND these last few days because of the spam.

What's the point of this thread ? QQ'ing against Elysium staff because it's not Blizzlike ? Do you prefer getting spammed by gold-sellers or for them to find an alternative solution to a problem (a working solution) ? Crying instead of making a constructive thread that could possibly point out a better idea is stupid.

Once you get in the STV range (around level 30), you can expect getting ganked a lot. But don't worry though it is still playable. Stranglethorn is basically the only zone you'll really get pissed off if you don't like world PvP, I'm not saying you won't getting killed anywhere else but it shouldn't be excessive. I am playing on Horde btw, I don't know how bad Alliance gets ganked.

Yes, you will be able to buy it if your "Highest PvP rank" is Grand Marshal. As a proof, as a Rank 4 that farmed R11 I can still buy all the R10 Gear and R11 Mounts today if I want to, and I could also buy the new version of R10 gear (level 60 version rather than 58) eventho I didn't have the required rank anymore. Another example are the Ranks 6 Mana/Healing potions you can buy at the NPC Outside, ask anyone who ever got to Rank 6 and is lower than this, they can still buy them.

@OP He's indeed a pretty bad player yes, but then like it has been said before, the need of putting down someone is the proof of deep frustration just to get some self-satisfaction, all that through a video-game, that's indeed pathetic and sad. But then what do you think they should do ? I am unsure it is possible to change the filter for only some kind of chat, aka I don't know if they can only restrict whispers and global channels, for instance. Anyway they're working on a solution right now, that's for sure. They're getting so many complains about the spam (and it's legit, at level 60 you don't get spammed but before that it's AWFUL) that they're most likely looking into a long-term solution, but to be honest with you even tho I'm working in IT, I am not a good developer enough to tell you if it's possible to do this simply.

For PvP I wouldn't advise using PI, atleast not on a BWL Patch (it's too early to be any efficient on a caster yet). This is the build I'm currently using for 5-man raiding a bit but mainly AoE farming: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#bVMGsAVoobxtccZo Blessed recovery is complete crap, and so is Force of Will. Why ? Because healing up to 25% of a crit, let say you take a 1k crit, you're going to take 6seconds to get what, 250 HP ? It's awful, and about Force of Will, well 5% more damage and offensive spell crit (Smite/Holy Nova-damaging/Mind Blast) is quite a waste of points. Spirit of Redemption is awesome, when you get drained to oom or just run normally out of mana, you can suicide by just running into the ennemies, and they'll most likely kill you except if they are a clever premade. Then when you die, you have 10 seconds of free flash healing and you can even apply one or more Renew to prevent incoming damage or heal your mates. Also, if you're using an Add-On that gives you the Res timer of Graveyards, you can cancel Spirit of Redemption and get instantly ressed and come back full health and mana. Of course saying one talent tree is purely better than another depends of your game style and what you personally prefer. This is the build I would run in Battlegrounds as a team-healer (rather than duels and solo outdoor pvp) : http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#bxMrsV0oZdxtcc0ax You can also go for only 1 Point into Fortitude buff and put it into the Imp. shield, as Fort buff get dispelled a lot and you barely only use it at the beginning of the BG as it cost a lot of mana. Wouldn't advise not putting 2 points if you also PvE with your priest, though. As for Spiritual Healing, you can change it for Mental Strength (+10% mana), once again it depends on your game style and experiences. Also note that you might want to have 1/5 Point in Spirit Tap rather than +2% Heal (or +2% Mana depending on your precedent choice) if you're planning on to AoE farm like I do (DM:E, for dem goldz), it helps a lot. Yes Mana burn can be resisted up to 100%, like any other Shadow Spell. It is in Discipline tree probably since early vanilla when they've put the Improved mana burn talent in Discipline tree rather than Shadow tree like earlier patches. Now about Arcane resistance, Midoriko was talking about bosses using Arcane abilities, such as mana burning abilities using arcane school, or counter-spell on Shazzrah.

Yep 10 Posts btw. And about you guys who got banned, appart from the ones actually cheating and/or buying golds, did you happen to do anything suspectful ? Such as trading big amount of gold from a char to another ? And did you download any non-secure addon/modified the game files or even download the whole game from a non-secure website ? I'm wondering how can the anti-cheat detects you and instantly bans you for no reason at all. All I know is that the anti-cheat system on this server is far from beeing %!@#, stop QQing when you have no idea how good it is.
