My standard spec is rank 1 of all the resists, and max armor and stamina. But if your focus is pvp, you may want to increase your pet's CC resistance: Arcane to combat polymorph, nature for scare beast/sleep... frost for frost nova/freezing traps, you get the idea. It is situational. If you're in Molten core, max fire resist. You can reset at the pet trainer. I generally leave the pet on my standard until I'm 60, but if you're try-hard and you know the mobs ur grinding are using a certain type of magic, buff your pet's resist to that.

Making a macro to pair furious howl to multi shot is completely unnecessary, and potentially wasteful. Party members within 15 yards receive an extra 18 to 22 damage to their next Physical attack. Lasts 10 sec. This is a static damage increase to any shot. There is no multiplier. It doesn't matter which ability is buffed, it simply adds some damage. Even if you clicked other buffs that multiply your damaging abilities, like a trinket, or bestial wrath, you're still not going to increase the amount of damage you receive with furious howl. If you do this macro and you don't use multi shot on cooldown, you are wasting your furious howl cooldown. Multi shot is an expensive shot so you're not going to be using it every chance you get. All you have to do is set furious howl to auto-cast and stay within 15 yards of your pet.

Yea he paced back and forth when I just got him 10 minutes ago! Funny, I was just killed by Hoakey, level 42 hunter. He stood over my corpse and /shoo'd me. Got back to my corpse and there was Lupos. Karma.

Does he wander/patrol around at all? I've been camping the eastern two spawns for a couple nights now. Should I be looking a bit north as well in case I didnt see him spawn?

He's the only cat NOT in stealth.

Best tip I can give you, is ways stand on a freezing trap while leveling. This will give you time to get to maximum range, then you can open with aim shot if you have it, followed by concussive. They start to get close, scatter or intimidate. It sounds like you know how to kite, which is 90% of the skill you need for world pvp leveling / surviving a gank. If trap resists, then you have scatter or intimidate. Wing clip and raptor strike can be cast at the same time, so macro it. As soon as you get out of the dead zone, hit him with concussive shot. It sounds like you already know what to do tbh. Edit: If you're BM and a marks hunter attacks you, close the distance with intimidate, use your axe and stay on his back. He'll win a shootout, so don't have one if you can avoid it. This also works on many casters.

Why do this? You're worse than the gold spammers.
