What's going on with the servers? I can't login
Nosleep replied to NymphGirl's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Nothing is wrong? Anathema off line... and ZK online with 0 ppl online. hmmmm -
Hello, I am sorry if this is the wrong place, I cant find a topic for reporting gold sellers. female troll, ''Sdgasda'' at OG bank mail box, on ZK server, has been there for weeks and weeks now.. on the same name, sending mail to players offering gold and power levelling, items etc etc.. and the same with a few sellers that have bothered to lvl past lvl 8 to post in trade, also using the same name.. openly selling gold and power levelling etc.. in open chat.. for weeks on end... How can this be? I again apologise if this is the wrong place but I cant see anything in the in game GM help tab or on this forum. Thanks for any help. edit: Germachila is the name of the player openly selling in horde trade chat on ZK.. using same name every day...
-
Thank you. I have done that. But reporting players for gold selling isnt an option, so I made a ticket under a different in game issue, hoping it would be seen by someone. But because they are still there (the gold sellers, openly in trade chat using the same name every day), I felt the need to come here and double check that its not meant to be reported here.

Yet another Epic BoE situation
Nosleep replied to J.AllenBrack's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Profit = greed Usage = need Anyone trying to say that gold is a need, is very very mistaken in their interpretation of greed/need. If it was the case that gold = need... then we could all need BOP items that have a 5-10g value.. because that gold will add to my pile of gold and allow me eventually to buy an item from AH. All you guys stating that needing for gold is a valid need...should be ashamed! I have never... ever.. heard of anyone trying to claim that needing for gold is as valid as needing for usage... be careful.. these guys are prob trolls. -
Bump in hopes of a reply :)

This is something I have been worried about. If i lose my phone or get a new 1 or factory reset like the OP... as long as i have saved/copied/printed the original email and codes sent to me when i activated 2FA i will be able to log in or install the app on my new phone etc and it will be ok?

Well of course you would.. I mean unless you're a Hunter there is no point in being optimistic cos you will only get owned hard by a Hunter eventually anyways..... 'woooooooossssshhhhhhhh!!'' what was that? the sound of the word play joke going over your head :D If you're honestly pessimistic in nature, then you wouldn't be pessimistic cos you would feel its not going to work, you know, cos you're pessimistic about everything.. even pessimism :P it was a joke man :P

I love to PVP.. that's why im here and not on PVE server, but I also want to level... and killing on sight can lead to a very slow lvl process when they come back to kill you.. and then any ally in area may now know youre killing on sight and so they attack you on sight.... its a choice i still consider every time i see an ally. This is something i have thought of a lot! .... BUT... i approach it like this... if i attack on sight.. i risk only annoying someone so thy come back to ambush me when im low or w/e but who may well have left me alone and we just quest near each other... ... i will help ally at times when questing (pvp is 1 thing, but players are just ppl like me too), if i see them over pull or i see them almost dead.. i have even kited the elite Golem in the slag pit of searing gorge while 3 ally dps'd, i waited to takee agro once they had tagged it cos i saw them wipe and come back as i was on other quests. (funny thing, backs up your point tbh lol.. 10 mins later i was with 1 person in group i just met on same q's... and lvl 60 war came and killed us both for fun when we were low ... all i could think was ''omg do you even know what I did for 3 ally players just 10 mins ago u fuka!! hehe) Currently, i will not attack ally unless they attack.. i will 'slightly' prepare if they come my way.. so they can see i have seen them.. they norm wide birth me .. i dont hunters mark them (even though to be safe, i should, to get the GCD out the way) and i would say 50/50 up to about lvl 40 or so they attack... and after lvl 45-50 i would say only 10-20% of ally attack me. I know this can lead to things like you mention, where the cheeky little sod come back with friends for no reason acting the big man... my personal pet hate is when an ally player attacks me when im low hp after an over pull or just hard grinding so no mana and pet hp low etc... they have no honor.. im always up for a straight fight... im a hunter.. i fear nothing in all of wow!!! .. but them times when they get me when im low or at the vendor in place where guards dont attack... chicken shit's! so i feel you.. but i still lean towards benefit of the doubt... i pay for this.. but not as much as if i attack on sight, imo :P edit: 60 v 60 when both have finished leveling is a different story... soon as i ding... youre all dead! on sight! BE WARNED! 2nd edit: oh yeah! the topic haha ... sorry but thats classified information.. im not letting you know what u need to rank up! :P

Hunters > All. and to the doomsayers.....
-
i dont know about un-cc'able pets.... but if anyone uncovers this conspiracy to hide it from us, tell us the name of it! .... but hunter DO need to be more OP in pvp... I think we should get a 41 yard range mana drain.. on instant cast and with no CD...... oh wait :P Cower and flee before the awesome power of the vanilla hunter!! Now you know the REAL reason hunters have been hated since vanilla... cos we own the whole god damn game! :D

This. I had this happen in a group, someone ninja BOE after all others greed. I instantly said sorry to the others and left the group, then did a /who <guild name> and then whispered the highest lvl player asking them to speak to the GM, he forwarded me to the GM who I told both what had happened and showed them screen shots of the event happening and the chat etc. In this case the ninja wasnt kicked from the guild, which IMO is terrible, but then it only becomes a learning experience for me, as I now know something about the leadership/attitude of that guild and while its not fair to tar all with same brush, i can be cautious in future. If you are feeling unsure about a player or item, 1 tactic is to wait to press greed untill u see all others greed... if someone is thinking of ninja needing, the time will run out like a game of chicken... they will need and u can at least need also then hope you win and /roll with the guys that played fair. Another way is to clearly state it at the start of the group, while youre all travelling to the instance etc. say in chat that all BOE will be greed unless you say in chat 1st that u need it and other players always say ''yeah man go for it'' if its an obvious item you need. I had this in ST just the other day with the ''Precisely Calibrated Broomstick'' (epic gun +14 agi worth 100g+ easy on AH) it was a huge upgrade for me.. but i didnt need untill i said in chat to other group members that i wanted to need and that i would equip straight away.. they agreed.. about 1 sec before timer ran out and i almost missed even rolling at all haha. It sucks, but not bannable or anything at all.... just out them in general and to the GM of their guild.. even lots of their guild if u feel it was bad enough. That will .... or should lol.. do them more harm than any temp ban.

I hope everything goes smoothly.. but just in case you need some help.. I found this amazing bit of hardware to help your devs :)

I can tell from your post that you have that rare killer instinct :D -
Hello, one of my posts regarding the griefing/mafia in un'goro over devilsaurs was deleted with no explanation or any message to me informing me my post was deleted or any warnings for breaking any rules etc... its just gone. It was not abusive.. it was very polite, all it did was draw a few comparisons between accepted types of world PVP activities and the ones the devilsaur farmers are accused of using. And it ended with a suggestion to ppl that they should deal with them like any other 60's ganking lowbies.. team up and kill them.. oh and a threat to anyone thinking of corpse camping me in un'goro that if they try, they will fail.. cos ill kill them and any mafia that may or may not be. I am very confused why this post was deleted with no explanation, seeing as the thread is full of posts by people insulting, name calling, obvious trolls trying to incite drama and upset, whereas my post was an honest explanation and a friendly RP threat (this is still an RPG i assume?) from me to anyone who thinks of killing and corpse camping me and the so called mafia in general :D. I'm a member of the guild ''STV Police Department'' and its my job to bring criminals to justice! :P Is it normal behaviour for people to delete members posts with no warning or explanation? If i did something wrong, how can I learn or know if no one tells me what i did? Thanks :)
-
Oh sorry, I may not have explained myself properly. The thread is still there.. it has been locked by admin stating the reason as : ''gone way too far off topic'' I have no issue with admin locking threads for any reason, its their forum and they make the rules and I generally agree with them. it is only my friendly, polite, playfull in an RP way and IMO helpfull post that has been deleted, removed from the thread, while other obvious trolls and ppl just insulting each other, remain.

hehe but ok yeah, genuinely big time thanks guys!

Every class is easy to learn.. the game is designed to be easy at the start, slowly introducing more talents and abilities as the player progresses..... So why only the hunter is mentioned as easy? oh you mean pve? well thats funny, cos every class is insanely simple and easy to play at beginning in pve and you only get more complex (as with hunters) past lvl 20 or so, slowly introduced every couple of levels but still every class, while lvl'ing or end game pve, are a 1-4 button spammers... and that includes hunters with all classes. Are you all new to WoW??? maybe these are your 1st chars ever?? because you talk like you never played the game in your life and take all your so called experience from ranting youtubers. easy to play?? compared to what?? mage - lol literally 1 button from lvl 1 to lvl 60 in pve and pvp.. 1 button.... ok 2 if mobs come close lol + free (max current level) food n water often expensive for new players and so seriously decreases downtime) rogue/war, lol auto swing will kill mobs.. stealth or mail/plate armor and they get lots of handy health/avoidance abilities to help keep them alive or lose HP slower etc. shammy/pala/druid - hahahaha easy?? auto swing or single button bash main dmg spell cast... thats it...oh and the heals lol... at all levels they can heal themselves... kind of a bonus eh?? lock/priest - slightly more to these guys than a mage, but still.. in beginning very very easy to learn.. and eventually they become 2-3 button spammers... LIKE ALL OTHER CLASSES! . ALL CLASSES ARE EASY TO PLAY... ALL JUST AS EASY AS HUNTER, IF NOT MUCH MORE EASY!! but no, no you're right.. its the hunter thats more easy than others by soooo much it deserves special mention and even suggest the player who chose the hunter couldn't do any other class!. If any of you think that me comparing hunter auto shot to other classes auto swing or 1 button spam is not fair, i would love to know why. ... pet tank+auto shot = pet half dead every mob.. needs heals = mana = down time. other classes either heal them selves after every fight = mana = down time or they eat food+ bandage every fight or 2 like melee classes = consumables = down time. If you auto shot mobs with pet tank... if you actually play that way with hunter... your pet will be almost dead after 1 or 2 mobs... cos your auto shot will take so long that your pet is half dead or more after each mob which = huge down time healing and feeding (especially in the beginning) and so then huge down time drinking to replace mana ... that is NOT how newbie players play hunter....or anyone for that matter, unless you really are bored with playing games and choose not to use any abilities or do anything except AFK auto shoot... i mean really?? you think 'all new players' or anyone really, plays like that?? and even if some do.. so do ALL other classes.. they can all single button/auto swing their way to lvl 60 if they want the extra downtime and boredom that comes with it. This idea that for some reason new players all roll hunter cos they are 'easy' to play and all you have to do is AFK auto shoot your way to lvl 60 is... 1: not true! new players who roll hunter dont AFK auto shoot, they spamm the abilitiy buttons they have as they get them with pet tanking...and learn to play their class.... just the same as every other class. 2: Most important - backwards logic! oh ok.. ''new players roll hunter cos they are the easiest to pick up and learn and especially players who dont have the skill to play other classes'' interesting logic... so the 'new' players, who know nothing about classes and lvl 60 abilities etc... they pick hunter based on their deep understanding of the class differences both at lvl 1 and lvl 60 pvp and pve and so choose the easy class out of fear of the other 'hard' classes.. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha big breath hahahahahahahahahahaha 3: literally made up by the OP ..... rhetoric thrown back from vanilla days, that had no true meaning then, as it still doesnt now, other than bullshit hatred and jealousy from little children who just name call things aka: trolls... that got picked up by the pond scum part of the wow community... and here... still today 13 years later... you guys are making posts asking... ''why is hunters all noobs?? oh cos hunter is the easiest to play!'' And you only do 1 thing when you try to make these claims..... You show your complete lack of knowledge of the game, and your obvious cata baby attitude that never even experienced playing a hunter and only knows class normalisation , free lewtz and how to blindly follow old rhetoric/memes/trolls from 13 years ago still being repeated in /1 and /2 all day on retail *and private, unfortunately!), with zero understanding of how they came to be or why they might be wrong, incorrect, often on purpose.. aka: troll. ... they just repeat what they see in /1 and /2 like good little sheep.. repeat it long enough, and you even think its true hahahahaha so please... before you claim hunters are the most simple to play.. or easy to play compared to other classes ... or that hunters are all horrible vile people... remember... trolling is frowned upon on these forums... and thats all youre doing.

Hunter pet skills - unusual question about effective use of training points
Nosleep replied to Horec's topic in Hunter
Respeccing is the only way to be! respec based on the encounter. and while levelling its up to you, cos it dont really matter.. but having a strong tank pet will save your life on those accidental over-pulls. -
Don't believe the hype! True Hunters are some of the nicest people in the game! They bring pride to the class and themselves! Its just a throwback from vanilla days, and its not even true.. the same ''easy to play and so huntard'' claim and be said about a mage... or any class if played simply or badly... IMO Hunters are one of the easy classes to pick up and roll with, levelling is fast, and a basic auto shot with pet will kill anything at your lvl range as you are levelling... hitting specials, arcane shot, multi, serpent sting will just speed it up and don't really matter what order you use them in as you're levelling and for a moderate dps in 5 mans. .... BUT..... They are one of the most difficult to be good with at max lvl raids and even in 5 mans both levelling and at 60. And by this I don't just mean DPS, which for any spec or setup will have a mathematically 'best' method for a pure tank n spank fight and will net you a decent DPS even played badly, but after that the fun begins. Bosses with many adds or big trash pulls are where a Hunter is truly tested, kiting, CC and utility of the Hunter is amazing and their true purpose in a raid is not just to top the DPS tables (that's the easy bit.. we just own, it's that simple) .....but it is actually to keep the healers alive, and so the raid alive... ranged taunt/distracting shot... long and short range slows... the ability to fain death and lay a trap or pre lay 1 in strategic places .. these are just some of the things that make Hunters the care takers of the raid.. not to mention scorpid sting on every mob that it being tanked/off tanked. and the list goes on. If you are a Hunter and a healer dies in your raid or group, you should hang your head in shame!! You are responsible for or anyone really except MT, and even them sometimes, its your job as a Hunter to use the amazing awareness of the raid you 'should' have, spotting who needs help and when.. being able to pick up mobs that were or were not your task because they broke free or the players tasked with killing them dies. Using the amazing variety of abilities we have. I cant remember the amount of times I saved this or that after hearing on ventrillo/TS ''shit we need more DPS on these adds''.. or ''FUCK IM DEAD'' or see a mob run towards the healers and upon hearing it ''boom!'' im there, doing whatever needs doing! While still doing the job i had, the Hunter should be a multi-task expert! But when it comes to PVP they really come into their own... getting hi HK's in AV by standing at the back and multi-shot barrage will get you great HK's yes and so they get called easy... but their true skill is in 1v2 and even 1v3 where when played right.. is more than possible! And using your abilities on players your team mates are fighting...in those periods where you have 1+ secs left on your CD's and ideally if it wont clip an auto shot, you should be hitting other enemies with viper or scorpid or serpent sings.. you should be controlling your pet independently of yourself and making it attack the right player at the right time and switching as the field changes, FD trapping id needed, basically seeing who is aroud you and how you might best help them as well as yourself. (cos lets be fair, in PVP its not exactly hard to win a 1v1... think the awakening sceen from the Maxtrix 1 towards the end after being shot, where he does agent smith with 1 hand and looks bored haha) use that 'free' time while you're owning some silly fool that DARED to attack you.. to help everyone else too! A Hunter played very good, is truly a beautiful thing to see.. and by no means ''easy'' Cherish these vanilla times!! for this (and TBC, actually tbc it got even better! .. and even wotlk to be fair) is where Hunters are God's amongst mere mortals!

It is not always a simple task to make the changes and fix the things that are being done, to a game like this. Often, in development in general, problems or issues arise that were not foreseen, for many reasons, and these things add time to bug fixes or implementation. There is one thing you can be sure of, any extra time over the initial estimates will be very much needed and important or they would not extend it, I very much doubt they are taking longer than expected because everything was seamlessly patched, if you get my meaning. TLDR: They do give the best estimate they can, but sometimes.. well.. shit happens. Thank you Elysium, its not an easy job!

Thank you for all that you do! You have made me love WoW again after so many years!! Truly thank you!!
