    yeah PvP is not about one role anyway. You will sometimes use Prowl or Sprint in Cat Form, you will Bash in Bear Form, you will spam Travel Form when holding the flag under pressure, you will decurse your healers from Hunters Mana Leech Poison, you will heal sometimes more than doing damage, well and in 1vs1 you sometimes just Starfire someone to death who doesnt see from where you fire (big advatage compared to missiles like Frostbolt for example).

    One could argue, that Nostalrius/Elysium has never been blizzlike at all. 8000+ people online at a time has never been a thing on blizzard realms (not even close) and in addition to that, it's an international server. And don't get me wrong, I value this difference as an advantage. I play some retail WoW now and then and I really miss the international atmosphere of Elysium on my German realm.

    Druids got innervate baseline in one of the last patches. Feral should suck so much more than it does and I am not mad that we play with 1.12 talents ^^ Oh and I love the oldtimer metaphor.

  5. or they start to release new "seasons", so that we always have old pvp/pve realms (the non ladder realms) and progress pvp/pve realms (the ladder realms), so that devs can still work on the code, keep community alive and focus on vanilla instead of very new frontiers.

    thesis: 5/5 Ingrimm, Wolfshead Helm and the proper use of powershifting are the most crucial sources of cat feral dps. Honestly! For years I thought it would be a huge difference in dps when I get one of these shiny dps maces (like Blessed Qiraji War Hammer), because it has so much AP, but after heavy testing on my own repack of Elysium, I come to the conclusion that gear is not really that important at all. 300 AP does not crucially increase my dps. If I spawn a dungeon boss, permastun it and just dps, then I don't see a huge increase with or without one of these 300 AP maces. Isn't that batshit crazy?! Other opinions? :p

  8. It should not work that way. Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon should not proc through any Renew ticks. Instead, it should have a 2% proc chance on any spellcast. It should be able to proc when you cast Renew or Rejuvenation (but not through any ticks), it should be able to proc when you cast something that doesn't heal like Powerword:Shield, it should proc on dispells, on buffs (like Inner Fire), debuffs and it should be able to proc when you cast damage spells like Fireball, Frostbolt and so on.     A good version of bongos is this one: http://addons.us.to/addon/bongos A good video can be found here: The point "scripts" is the important one for shapeshifting. You can configure it to change a bar (bar 1 for example) to another bar (bar 6 for example) when buff X happens (Cat Form for example). In my example, you would "hide" bar 6, so that is only visible (in position of bar 1) when you are in Cat Form. The same can be done for Bear Form, too (using another bar of course, for example 7) and also for Prowl (Ravage and Pounce are only useable while stealthed anyway). Advantage over blizzards UI: You can shapeshift without any delay (and without the use of macros), the moving bar animation of stock Blizzard UI is eliminated. btw, Supermacro doesn't work well with Bongos. But I don't feel the need for it anymore, because Bongos has the same "show tooltip"-functionality that Supermacro has. Bartender is another solid addition, but it is compareable in difficulty and I had problems with using it for Prowl. Oh and as a last note: Use only the English client with bongos/bartender. My German client was not able to work with Prowl bar switching :(
  11. I understand that this is about Cat Form, but I just want to point out that Swipe of Bear Form does not scale except with crit and that is 100% blizzlike. So I am not optimistic that Cat Form coefficients are that bright. Regarding Shred: This one is working for sure. You can just use Tigers Fury and watch your numbers growing higher, following the description of the spell (225% auto attack damage). The thing is: Even with full AQ40 equipment and one of these shiny 300 AP maces, my numbers (especially Claw, Ferocious Bite, Pounce and Rip) are still unexciting and not tremendously higher than with just blue BIS-gear. And I guess that's blizzlike. Shred and Ravage are the skills that actually scale well due to their dependency on weapon damage, similar to Maul of Bear Form. Nevertheless I would love to see an actual list of coefficients, too. Can anyone read them out of the database? I have never tried to do that. Please help us! *damsel in distress* :P

    That's exactly what I observe now. The bug starts being the normal state, so that people just abuse it without any regret. I do not like that! :p Clarification is always welcomed. But your statement is only true if we ignore everything from Nostalrius days, which is questionable.     Still no reaction on the bugtracker. I know dozens of druids on Darrowshire who use the +9 weapondamage enchant and +8 weapondamage Weightstones. We reach the point where it's part of playing optimal and when I inform people that it's an abuse, then the most common answer is "lol, who cares?!". :(
  16. Tranquility behaves blizzlike. Even 2004-2006 during classic, it only plays the animation for the first seconds most of the time. Just sometimes, it plays the animation during the whole duration. I can't tell you the exact reason, but it was working this way even back in the days. Sometimes full duration animation, most of the time short duration animation. Regarding Rebirth... Similar or same problem for me (and other druids in my raid groups) - Rebirth is cast, you see the yellow reanimation animation and the person klicks to take the ressurection, but nothing happens. That happens in maybe 1-5% of all Rebirth casts. I can't find a bug report for exact that problem though.

For example a 1 second stun overwrites a 8 sec stun *lol* So its not only heal over time effects but also buffs and debuffs that do not work regarding the "a more powerful spell is already active" logic that WoW had from the beginning!

    Rebirth, a former vanilla classic server had that implemented. It helped a lot to replicate classic raid healing. Of course, during classic you were not able to override a heal over time if you had less +heal than the other caster. As a part-time healing feral druid, I can tell you that this change would be a great quality of life change also. You can use addons (as a druid Druid Func for example) to prevent your character from casting Rejuvenation when another Rejuvenation is already active. But... that is just a work around for something that should be fixed to be blizzlike :D Another thing are buffs. For example I can buff someone with max rank Mark of the Wild with just Rank 1 Mark of the Wild to annoy that person. Not that I do that, but it is possible due to the missing "a more powerful spell is already active" message.

  22. 1 int = 15 mana, so 120 int would be 1800 mana. If you skilled Heart of the Wild, then it is even 2160 mana. 120 int is also around 1,5% spellcrit (not sure if the conversion is 80 int for 1% spellcrit for druids). 100mp/5 is A LOT mp/5. Int is a lot cheaper regarding stat value budget. It is even on many pieces with mp/5, like Ring of Demonic Guile. Int is good in short fights and most MC & ZG bosses only live 1-2 mins. It is not shaby to have a lot of int on your starting gear, it is a viable choice. Ragnaros and some BWL bosses offer you opportunities where mp/5 is stronger than Int. But there are also bosses like Vael where +heal outshines Int and mp/5 by a huge margin. Most healers I know just stack +heal and take mp5/spirit/int as a bonus. +heal is just so much better than the rest, because it allows to downrank rank 4 Healing Touch, which you can spam (raidbuffed) almost forever even without noteable amounts of mp/5 or spirit. But at the end of the day... if mp/5 works for you like a charm, go for it! Healing is about keeping people alive and many ways lead to that goal. :)

I do remember, that it was just a chance on spellcasting. So just like Blizzard or Flamestrike, Arcane Missiles was only able to proc clearcasting on spellcast, not each hit. I guess that the wording of Arcane Concentration is just misguiding, because it says "after any damage spell hits a target", which is not true. I guess the fact that guides from 2004-2006 suggest that you should spam cheap spells like Scorch to proc Clearcasting for Arcane Missiles is another hint that it did not proc Clearcasting for each missile. The last quote suggests that it was able to proc on each missile during TBC beta, but did not make it to live realms.
