Another way I like to confirm a bot is once they start casting a spell at a mob, tag it with an insta-cast spell. A normal person would say "Hey, wtf?!" and go on to fight another mob, but these bots would just continue fighting.

I just tamed Takk, I am level 40 and I tipped a kind level 15 hunter 2g for notifying me of the spawn. I just wanted to see whether or not his speed really was as fast as people say it is. Poor guy was really hyped on Takk, he had a raptor named DiscountTakk... I don't know if there is a more accurate metric to measuring pet movement speeds, but doing circuits of certain distances in Orgrimmar, my pet Owl covered the exact same amount of distance in 60 seconds as Takk, and beat Takk handily when I turned on Dive 2. EDIT: Ok, so a very chill shaman helped me test out Takk and my pet owl in a series of duels. For full information, I have the Bestial Swiftness talent. With the owl, a 60% mount is faster, but when Dive 2 was up and the owl had roughly a 20yd gap or less from the mounted player it was able to close the distance with player and make contact. Takk was faster, although not by as much as I would have thought. If he attacked a player on a 60% mount running by he was able to keep up with them and attack them. However, if the mounted player had any gap between themselves and Takk, Takk was unable to close the distance (Raptors can't learn Dash). But it would be useful to note that when having to ride around obstacles or make turns, Takk had the angle on the player and would be slowly gaining taking a more efficient line. But most of the time the player got far enough away that Takk simply despawned. Conclusion: Maybe if I had tamed Takk at a lower level myself I would keep him, but I don't feel like leveling in a 40+ zone with a 19 raptor for a marginal benefit.

Luckily I have a good guild I am playing with so interaction with people like Beer is at a minimum. Now in terms of greeding on items so that others can need as an "upgrade", I am fine with that - but there are times when a shiny purple epic might not be all that much better than a well itemized blue. Usually the agreed upon procedure for needing a BoE of considerable value in my groups is the person who gets the item not only equips it immediately, but also makes a contribution in gold or items to the members of the party. Granted it likely won't be close to the market value of the item, but then at least everyone gets something out of the drop. And as this need/greed conversation has come up on other threads I will say again that I have been in groups where desirable twink items have dropped, and every single time the entire group has rolled greed. So you can justify needing on everything, and nobody can stop you, but eventually I hope you will be stuck with others of a similar mindset and the rest of the community does not have to interact as much with you.

While I know 10s is for the first respec of a pet, what is the cap / does it track each pet independently?

Yeah, Twessel and Psytracks are little cowards. I know that there is the whole "Red=Dead" saying, but in some zones people would rather farm and try to complete quests then always get bogged down in an all out PvP war. I was leveling fishing in STV and there were several alliance higher than me (29) but they left me alone because they were trying to kill mobs that they were competing against the horde to tag. Then these two clowns run by, I /wave and no response, I square up, ready for a fight but they run right past. Then just as they go out of range and I return to fishing, they double back and start to DoT and chain fear me. They probably didn't know I am slightly twinked out for a 29, and I kill Twessel, before the DoTs get me. So I run back to my body, respawn and track the fools down and corpse camp them 3-4 times. I know it is a PvP server, and not everyone is a knight who will march up to you and /duel honourably, but even as a horde member I could see that they lacked character.

I have seen a half-dozen blue BoEs drop in my groups. Every single person has rolled greed on the items dropped. And it has been understood that if someone rolls need they equip the item.

How will the division of the population go so that the second server still has a relatively balanced population?

I think it might have something to do with so many people trying at once. Like they mentioned, only try every 30s to 1 minute. If people would leave a little more space and try every 5 minutes, we would all be in the queue by now.

Grizzly will get it and then proceed to complain that there is nothing to do for six months. They are the reason it is good to have time between content otherwise they finish everything before spring break.
