  1. While it is hard to find hard data on the retail timers (except for cases of wandering vendors who generally restock at each turn), limited supply vendor items should be respawning somewhere between every 15 minutes and maybe an hour or an hour and a half. When I need a limited supply item, I just stay in front of it until it respawns to not miss any cycle, and the waiting times I am used to experience (from back in retail, and other private servers more recently) are well in line with these numbers. As I type this, I've been standing in front of Geoge Candarte for 2 hours and 2 minutes to buy one copy of Green Leather Armor without any restock happening (no one else came, and I've been watching and checking continuously - currently in windowed mode). This is simply not right for a fairly mundane limited supply item (needed just for 1 blacksmithing pattern), and way, way out of line with my experience for this item which I buy on every server. Similarly bugged respawn timers are probably to blame for insane AH prices such as 150g for a Runed Arcanite Rod recipe - this is simply not right, and not intended (on retail Blizzard servers). Significant markups happened in retail too, but not in the 1000%+ range (the markup for the one copy of my item on the AH is currently x10, which is also unusually high). Keep in mind too that the meaning of what a 'blizz-like' restock timer is, is up for debate. If an item, say, is supposed to restock every 30 minutes in retail, and retail has a population cap of about 2.5k; and if Elysium PvP (where i experience this) has an active population of between 6k and over 10k, then the availability of this limited supply item is not blizz-like. The timers should be appropriately reduced - which I realize isn't an easy issue to address, but still worth pointing out. If, however, the timers are actually significantly worse than in retail, then on a highly populated server like this one it turns into an unnecessary nightmare. That is if the item even restocks other than at server reset because I still have to see it in stock.
  2. Recently, safespotting in bgs was added to the ToS as a bannable offense. <snip> did just this as flag carrier in a 10-19 wsg. You cannot target him where he stands (this is right next to the exit portal), not even with aoe. I don't know how you get in there; I didn't manage to follow him. We were 3 different classes trying to hit him (a hunter (neither pet nor regular shooting worked), and one other I forgot). Kindly take action. :)

    Regeneration after rezzing?

(deleted as not true, apparently :))
  4. I realize that the server is on patch 1.3, in which no items were awarded. However, WSG was introduced in patch 1.5.0; and WSG 10-19, in patch 1.8.0. The item rewards were added in patch 1.6.0. I find it frustrating to grind rep (in 10-19, personally) in a bg that shouldn't even be in the game...to not then get item rewards probably "because they come in a later patch!" (but in one before the bg even should exists). I'm obviously not arguing to remove bgs, but to kindly consider adding reputation-based rewards that are consistent with the patch in which these bgs exist (aka, 1.8.0.).
  5. That's certainly not true. There is an item or two (WSG epic bracers, say) which for some classes is very strong, but the majority isn't. Besides - what is 'too strong' supposed to mean when you talk about, say, a silly level 18 item? I had them leveling up on mains or second characters in the past, and they certainly weren't.
  6. Under which section? It fits "environmental," which redirects you here. I tried that first. Also, you need a screenshot which I wouldn't know how to submit with a ticket. Sadly, I expect nothing to happen no matter where this is reported, so it probably won't matter either way. My experience with in-game tickets is a snarky reply after 2 days, and what is reported, being ignored. At least here you have a public trail - gms might ignore what I write here, but someone on the team obviously reads it.

    How to submit a bug

When I go to the bug tracker section, I see the attached picture, followed by select bugs (top rated and such). However, I have been unable to figure out how to submit a bug. I might just be (probably am) blind, but could you kindly point out where and how to submit a bug (and/or make submission a bit more intuitive)? Thanks!

Yes. Same problem on my PC.

I'm logged in per the top right of the page. Is there another location you need to log in?

    So THIS is now Happening...

The real issue is GMs being unwilling to address this - in my experience, stating it with a nasty attitude. Under these circumstances that I don't see will change, expect to see more of this in the future. For what it's worth, this was briefly happening when I was grinding to exalted in WSG 10-19 on K2. I posted a like note on their forums, and it never happened again.
  11. Someone ganked her for 2 obvious reasons: (a) as she's a cross-faction quest giver, you can annoy the most people (b) killed npcs should respawn in 10-20 mins. On Elysium, this is typically bugged, and they respawn only at next server restart She's part of a bunch of quests, and you see between 5 and 10 people (across factions) wait for her at most times. Could someone kindly respawn her? It's rather unpleasant to let a sad person do this to so many people. Thanks.
  12. Stuck on 'connected.' As the realm lists indicate 'medium population' for all realms, I assume all servers are down, or at least dealing with heavy issues.

    Can't log in

Between 5 minutes and 12 hours in the past. Probably within 1 hour, but no one knows.
  14. Got dc'ed, can't get past 'connecting.'

    Chat banned?

Their anti-spam system seems to create a fair amount of false positives, but - in my experience - not based on frequency of shout-outs as much as based on using certain keywords. I wish I could tell you which - I believe avoiding stand-alone numbers is a good idea, but might be wrong (numbers certainly don't always lead to issues as "sold for 800g" usually seems ok). When this happened to me, i killed the client, cleaned the wdb folder, and logged back in to see the issue gone. I don't know if I was just lucky, but it's worth a try.
  16. While it's always been a sport for some to enjoy free-riding on the effort of others, back to retail; it's also always been a bannable offense (assuming proof was provided). I understand if someone might be briefly absent when playing long periods of time, but I find it offensive to have someone flaunt being afk. Here s one such case. I'd appreciate if the admins actually care and at least issue a warning, as the player is most open about what he does in battlegrounds. If not, one has to assume such behavior is considered ok at Elysium, with the likely consequences.
  17. Important NPCs in Grom'Gol (STV) have been dead for a long while (probably 10 hours), namely the inn-keeper and the flightmaster. They should respawn in something like 10-15 mins. However, I monitored continuously earlier today for 2 hours to not see a respawn, and now come back 10 hours or so later and they are dead - presumably still dead, although again dead is possible. As the respawn script appears broken, a server restart to have them freshly spawn would be a welcome short-term fix. Thanks. P.S.: I heard in guild that respawn earlier today in Hammerfall was also way too slow (>30 mins, should be, as said above, <15 mins), so there is likely a larger issue at work.

    Ridiculous Wintrading

Please apply for forum moderator - they are still seeking those too, I think. Elysium has too many infantile, racist trolls, and could need a more mature someone like you.

    BG AFKers

Afking was a bannable offense in retail vanilla; it's just always hard to prove. If the server strives to be blizz-like, it's bannable, plain and simple.

    King Gordok Teleportation

What are you talking about? Raising prices to at least twice of what they would be (devilsaur) is not inflation? It's maybe localized for only one market, but nevertheless. Some wannabe economists appear to declare as money infusion as the only source of inflation, which is utter nonsense. The difference is that the team is apparently ok with a few people bullying around the many and having many pay more than they should for an item you could otherwise farm; whereas it minds some hunters making some extra gold. You need to be blinded with fanboy-ism to nod to such arbitrary and totally unnecessary changes from a 'blizz-like' experience.

    King Gordok Teleportation

"Fixed" it by making it different from how it was on retail, and from how it was supposed to work? Can't believe they did this (I never play hunter and am so not affected by this nonsense, but this is so damn arbitrary). And it's 'fixes' like this that make the server unstable as the team clearly slowly loses control of the code base while focusing on crap like this, and spam filters.
  22. I'm unsure if your title here means official involvement with the team, or just massive forum involvement. In case you are part of the team... This post is aggressive and confrontational. When you start out saying "Since some posters have reading comprehension issues...," you lose all but those who already agree with you. Which is a shame - you provide good info in much of what you say. Is your goal (a) to communicate information, or (b) to come up on top in a silly internet fight? It should be (a) as a member of the team; but all you come across as is (b). The original post - this one here - is totally out of the blue. It assumes people are familiar with the 'scandal', but it's a scandal I hadn't heard of before seeing this reply to...something. So i went and watched the video. A professional reply would have summarized the situation and claims first, then addressed them, skipping the personal attacks. Instead, we get a reply w/o summary first (what exactly do you reply to?), and personal attacks. To then see you - apparently, a team member - make this dismissive intro into your post ("reading comprehension issues") is both not appropriate considering the far sub-optimal way in which this was communicated, and fine for chat trolling but not a server that strives to be taken seriously.
  23. So within 10 hours of recent events, and known hackers/botters/gold sellers being removed from the team...we have a total server crash with extremely limited information on what is going on? I'm not one much for conspiracy theories, but knowing that certain people may or may not have had access to some fairy private information makes me uneasy, in particular in light of the strange, strange coincidence that we're dealing with the first genuine crash (as opposed to restarts or shutdowns) which one might be excused to assume could be due to retaliatory measures taken by some. I believe I am not the only only who would appreciate some staff comments that put justifiable concerns to rest. What personal information did removed staff members have access too? What is really going on?
