Lol, I enjoyed this rant! I'm not trying to say give up or run and hide. I really don't think it's a fight ... Some people just want to play vanilla content and here we are doing it. Peacefully. We've seen what happened when these Blizz-tards said "you don't want to do that" and we experienced what happened when they came after Nost the first time, it was hilarious and the private server community did a very professional job responding to it. Not only that but they took it a step further and re-opened the servers for us and even upgraded them by pairing with the new hosts at Elysium which is totally sweet and out of the blue! I didn't think we would ever see the private servers again. I mean did you really think Blizzard would follow through on their end? HAHAHA. Honestly, I what we have right now is just amazing and I think the best strategy is to enjoy it. If that means that I need to be on a VPN in my basement with the lights off and doors locked so be it. The only point I am trying to get across is that everyone should try and enjoy this calm before the storm and not try to bring upon Ragnarok by drawing unwanted attention to it sooner and the video streams are for sure the loudest means. It will obviously happen again anyways but at least we can prolong it. I have faith in the community and the dev's and will be here to fight Act-tard-vision at every turn.

This is great and all but personally I am fairly against the streaming of vanilla / private servers. I think that these are the #1 reason that Blizzard caught onto Nost so fast the last time (not the only reason of course) but most likely a big one. I really wish people would not publicly stream themselves playing the server..even if it is slightly beneficial to get some exposure for their accounts or for the server to get some new players ... In the end it's just more publicity and in a time where the losers at Activision are going wild trying to ruin a good thing, it's best we just keep our heads down and enjoy this amazingness ourselves. Sorry not trying to be a downer on the post.. I also twitch stream but have decided to not do it for the sake of the server just encase.

Delete post 3 and sticky this thread. We really need something like this, tons of shitlords spring up and this is one of the best ways to handle them.

My record used to be lvl 10 in under an hour on normal servers. But that is without competition for spawns, although with the increase timers this hasn't been much of a problem at all I barely noticed it. I really expected it to be congested and packed and was planning on just grinding mobs instead of doing the quests but my wife and I had no problem with them at all.

AHHAHA I saw this at the pumpkin fields in Tirisfal Glades. At first I thought it was someone with a bot / multi-boxing but it was actually just people ....being....some form of civilized.... it was so weird. Nothing like this Sarkot tho hahah this is great.

I think it's a great addition. So smart and I cannot believe it's the first time I've experienced this....12 years to figure out and implement something like this in terms of wow servers.

Lol. It is a brand new server literally 1 day old. I think the que time will drop significantly over the week probably around Tuesday-Wednesday as people die off or go back to their old servers. Also they are just now discussing making a new server which might help. Although I personally think that just making the server a high pop would be better! (I know nothing of their hardware specifications).

Welcome to the internet dude! YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME ?!? YOU LOOKING FOR A PROBLEM!?!? lol joking. I totally agree everyone on here seems to be so angry! On-topic. I doubt they will allow server transfer at all as this server is fresh and even has the timeline (raid releases) reset to original. Therefore if you had players transferring over with BWL or AQ gear ...when the instances aren't even released that would seem...interesting wouldn't it?

Hi Kalo, This most likely will not be a service. Nosta and Elysium are the few private servers that really try to hold "true" to a vanilla experience and go as far as to make it that way even on the website. I think that is great and honorable but also sucks because we would all surely like to give them some of our money to show support and help out! Also note this is a brand new server released yesterday so if you give it say a week it should be all cleared up... You should have seen some of the other private servers before this...hell you should have seen what it was like when Blizzard themselves released new servers...crashes, huge server wide lagg, ect ect. To be honest these servers have not only been smooth latency and stable but they even increased the spawn timers so that people could get through the starting zones fast instead of the congested spawn camping there usually is. I am very happy with what is being done here even though I've spent 4 hours in que, gives me time to catch up on....real...life...things... Thanks, Chritz
