Greetings fellow Nostalrians,

< INSOMNIA > is a raiding guild with a great core team and good solid leadership.
Our focus is on progress and constant improvement but with a more moderate semi-hardcore atmosphere.

History

As a former social leveling guild and through the effort of a dedicated few INSOMNIA turned into
a raiding guild with respectable progress and performance without sacrificing too much "fun"
for the sake of "tryharding". Although tryharding is certainly welcome and encouraged, we aim
to reach our goals with more reasonable and less time consuming methods.

When Nostlrius closed down some of us stayed together in TBC.

After trying out several other Servers Nostalrius came back from the dead without warning.
Obviously we got right back at it and here we are on the second iteration of Nostalrius.

Ready to kick some Qiraji butt!

Progression

We clear Blackwing Lair and Molten Core on our Farm Raid day, reserving two days for Ahn'Qiraj progression.

Loot System

We are using DKP for all current content. This excludes farmed Raids like MC+BWL. But all effort towards
progress will be rewarded eventually in Ahn'Qiraj and later Naxxramas.

Raid Times

Ee have three scheduled raid day, every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 19:30 hours to 23:00 Server Time.
However this is not set in stone and thus we sometimes continue past those times in order to progress.

Recruitment

Many of our core players made it back to Nostalrius. But we can use some fresh blood to bolster our ranks.

1 x Druid ( Restoration )
1 x Warrior ( Protection )

However we are always looking for experienced raiders who know the content and their class. If we notice that you are such an extraordinary indivudual, gear should not be an obstacle.

What do we expect from you?

- Our raid leader is there to give you instructions, not to teach you how to play. We expect you to be able to handle your job in raids and experience in the content
- Your character needs to be ready to take on current tasks. That means Gear, Consumables, Enchants and Resistances
- Be active on these raid times, though we currently raid 3 times a week, this is subject to change.
- Be disciplined in raids: don't clutter Teamspeak, be on time, follow the RL/GM orders, don't be brain-afk
- Be prepared for raids by bringing consumables and use them on RL orders
- Be friendly to guild members and strangers. You are representing INSOMNIA
- Be able to deal with criticism
- Be attuned to Blackwing Lair
