Yeah, if the coefficient is bugged, T1 8/8 is solidly BIS until you get the late AQ40 and Naxx gear. At that point, it's still BIS for single target fights where CH optimization is not feasible. I'm not sure if anyone has tested it. I'm only level 52 now, but I do intend to test it whenever I get the chance.

It's an end-game spell.

One thing I can tell you off-the-bat is that you should stop using such low ranks of Healing Wave. You have to think of your 3 healing spells as they were designed. Slow cleave healing, slow and large direct healing, and fast and medium direct healing. There is no reason to use lower ranks of LHW beyond from 4 to 6, as 4 is the lowest you recieve the full benefit from the +heal coefficient. There is no reason to use less than the max rank of HW when your tank is taking massive incoming damage. There is no reason NOT to use CH at LEAST rank 1 when you are doing nothing. Cast-Cancel if you don't have enough mana. Most of the time, when I am tank healing, I use CH (unless I am sure the melee in the immediate vicinity will not take damage) to correct the HP imbalance. However, if you are utilizing T1 8/8, the correct response would most often be to max-rank HW. As far as your gear goes, do not use T2 helm, use Helm of the Life Giver. When you get the ZG Belt, use the ZG Bracers and the ZG Belt. Not until then. It seems most likely that you need to restructure your UI or identify the damage output of the bosses to increase your effective healing throughout the game. As I tell people all the time, it is massively important that healers know the damage output, mechanics, and general raid positioning per-boss so that they may utilize their spells and address the raid appropriately. Lightning Shield damage should not consume a stack of Stormstrike.

T1 8/8 is BIS basically forever if the coefficient is wonky on the HW bounces and CH coefficient is accurate/not-crazy-overpowered. You can still do more total healing with T3 and BIS offpieces if you don't suck... buuut people, you know? T2 3/8 is alright, especially if you don't have all the BIS offpieces. Once you're full pre-AQ40 BIS, T2 3pce is more of a tossup viability wise. T3 is just very wow, such fantastic and is pretty much BIS with the late AQ40 and C'Thun offpieces interspersed. But, aside from C'Thun, basically anything you can get in Naxx is better than anything you can get anywhere else -save Wormscale Blocker until KT.

Also missing this helm: Deviate Growth Cap. If it's available (ie. if Lethon is active), it's easily BIS until Don Rig's.

Looks pretty perfect. It's worth knowing that, as far as rings go, Cauterizing Band and Pure Elementium Band are going to be your two best +heal rings until late AQ40 and Naxx. Also, you should get basically every trinket you can and swap out as the encounters dictate. I essentially used Natural Alignment Crystal and Rejuv Gem for most of late AQ40 and Naxx. I even used Scarab Brooch a couple of times. I'd also say to prioritize +4 stats over 100 mana after MC. Your mana pool should be big enough that you can afford the boost to your stats. The best part about the +100 mana is that it gives you a bit of a buffer when you're gear is low. As gear improves, that buffer won't impact your play nearly as significantly.

If it eats a spell like a DoT that doesn't apply damage on application, it won't die and will work again in another 10 seconds. If it's eating a spell that does apply damage on application and doesn't die, then it's a bug.

You can't have Ret Pallies and Ele Shaman in the same raid in Vanilla. In fact, you cannot have Pallies and Shaman in the same raid in Vanilla...

You use 2 accounts. Put both toons in a party, Warrior works the best, and loot only on the Shaman. WF+Cleave everything to death.

You can set a party to FFA and loot on only one toon... as I did for many years. It's not as if having a second account is hard to accomplish on private servers. If the drop rate is low and the areas farmed out, it's probably better to farm Dark Runes in a party in Scholo.

If you farm for Demonic Runes without help from someone else or with the assistance of an alt, they quickly become your most expensive consumable. I'd say Ele would probably be slightly better because of the gear crossover. If you have good Enh gear, probably that then.

Shaman are the greatest utility belt any real class can ever wear.

Basically.

Warlocks aren't a huge issue unless you're Resto. Hunters can be irritating, especially while leveling but, as long as you can keep Poison Cleansing Totem down and reliably dispel their Viper Sting, you should be fine. Frost Shock the Hunter, Earthbind the pet, keep dispeling yourself, get in the Hunter's deadzone, avoid the FD + Frost Trap combo = win.
