i know thats why it might be a fix. but im not sure about other mobs stats. the API offers functions such as UnitResistance("unit", "resistanceIndex"), but since relaunch these only work on yourself (and pet). i doubt it was meant to be that restricted. however, its not about "is the current core better or worse" actually, its whether or not its the nost core. yes, some nost bugs are gone, but many other very fundamental bugs appeared. and things like mobs chasing you for too long are not even real bugs, they are just tuned differently (wrong). and the chase-distance is just as wrong as it had been on valkyrie, so its very likely a code duplicate from valkyrie that was set in charge. so if the devs copy either code from nost into valkyries code or the other way around since relaunch, its very likely it happened to many other parts as well. thus, its not the core that was promised. its a mix or something. especially since they also seem to copy paste bugs :D making the current core inferior

well you request mobs stats via API, now everything returns 0 maybe thats a fix. however, its like they fixed 10 things and bugged 100 others. not nosts core

on nost the mobs didnt chase you for as long as they do now, on valkyrie they did. on nost pets of friiendly ppl appeared to be friendly instantly, now they are initially hostile. on nost, pets were working pretty well, now they got plenty of bugs. and there are way more evidences. for me, its out of question: this is not the nost core. maybe its a mix of nosts core and their previous core, but its definitly worse than what nost had in its final days.

mm the bug that pets appear to be hostile initially also is something new isnt it. nost had that fixed iirc, its back. like 100 other bugs. i cannot believe all these appeared because they fixed a bunch of other bugs ~

in the few days ive been playing on the new servers, ive recognized "plenty" (10-20) suspicious players whose movement/behaviour was very strange. i cared enough to investigate further in 4 of them. result: leveling bots. i cannot tell what theyre being used for, but their names seemed to be common, so theyre either ordered character, characters to be sold or tools to farm gold one day. 3 of the 4 characters have been rogues and if you are busy and questing, you would not recognize them as bots. so im sure there are way more than that. too many, imo. example video (zeth'kur). first he seems to be a normal player, but if you keep watching him... i know its really hard to detect and get rid of (well programmed) bots, but it should stand above all to get rid of any cheaters. thats why i want to ask the staff as well as the community to fight/report any forbidden activies. dont let them ruin our servers.

btw, the rogue is not the only botter you see in this short video. the warlock also is. theyre there for hours, if not days.

no, afaik a lot of ppl are using either aux or auctioneer. i also dont like addons that make things too easy, but thats what the wow api and addons allowed you to and its too wide spread to shut it down i guess

i highly doubt rebirths core is any better than nost/kronos core. just because they were working on naxx doesnt mean evrything else was "done". i guess the elysium staff is just going to copy paste most of the nost core parts into their core and its done. but tbh, i think thats what theyve already done from the beginning. if you look at the bugs all servers suffer, you will recognize many new ones that probably come from elysiums/valkyries core. probably has been a mix since relaunch

do not let your players, fans down you massivly gonna hurt the vanilla community as a whole for YEARS if you betray tens of thousands of ppl now. dont crush the vanilla legacy movement!

this possibly is one of the most important decisions in vanilla history. if they decide to crush it now, the legacy movment will be thrown back for years

instead of strenghthening the vanilla community, theyre ruining ist now. if ppl are being abused and disappointed as much as its going to happen now, they will probably not return to a private server anymore because theill be too worried this can happen again

with a ~5k pop, zeth'kur appears to be the realm of choice for PVE and raiders. - zeth'kur has zero lag, low latency, 24/7 - consumables are easier to get - less ganking while leveling or getting to (raid) dungeons - no strugge with queues (yet) so i guess zeth will also most likely get most of the first kills. you will obvously still get ganked and have trouble getting stuff for your raids as 5k players are still a lot, yet not as much as on ely with 10k.

well, thats your problem, not ours. a solution was offered, if you dont like it, deal with it.
