  1. but what if there was a character called "Btw arrior"?
  2. your posts had too good points, so i cant come up with a legitimate respone
  3. wow, somebody got triggered here. and im clearly the other guy :)
  4. no, but you can stop it from updating and use it the way you bought it. sometimes its better to not make a comparison rather than making a shitty one
  5. even blizzard realised in 2005 its a good idea to let ppl transfer from high to low pop realms
  6. there should be a hardcore server that does not allow any addons
  7. the first few months of wow were the best, when only very primitive addons existed, nothing like decursive, and barely nobody had hardware a casual could create makros/scripts with. you actually had to play the game it was meant to be played (by the devs). such a great time, many tears.
  8. threads from ppl that got banned, pure comedy

    DDoS on Anathema

well you can critizise but theyre probably not able to change anything anyway because theyre just not able to meet your demands
  10. no. many ppl do not want to roll on a realm that exists for like 1 year, so they either be able to play on a fresh one or you lose them. getting zeth kur up was the right decision the mistakse that were made were other. like underestimating the demand of pop capacity so zeth kur launched delayed, naming 1 server after the project itself and handling zeth kur like the stepson, etc
  11. the question is on what god blessed vanilla server are you playing?
  12. transfers from elysium to zeth kur should be possible to even the population out and serve those that prefer lower pop realms

    wich server to choose?

if you only want to raid the latest dungeons that are available, which is AQ on anathema (soon), and skip the others, you might want to switch. but if you want to progress all dungeons from MC to the latest dungeons available, you should stay. but, if youre only lvl 36, you might end up having AQ open as well by the time you hit lvl 60
  14. i know we do not own the accounts and they are not in duty to host servers for us. but imo there are 2 options 1. law considers vanilla and legion as one and the same game. imo, this would result in false advertisement/fraud, because the game is not remotely the way it was advertised and i bought it. the game is still up, my account still there, but they changed it a lot. its no longer what it was advertised with, what ive paid for. 2. law considers vanilla and legion as 2 different games. this would mean blizzard abandoned vanilla. is this something private projects could benefit from? this kind of game with this specific busines model is quite unique i guess. there are not many mmorpgs with subscription models and periodic expansions (youve got to buy). other games usually remain the same and offer the same gaming experience regardless of what expansion/addon is being released (unless you buy it), so ppl there cant complain. but if the expansions change/remove features in a way wows expansions do or even worse even if you do not purchase it, you might feel like youve been cheated. maybe the chances to win such a sue are low because blizzard is in no duty, but if nobody ever tries youll never find out. why can they forbid fanprojects to rebuild a game they abandoned but many purchased? and i dont think its as clear as many here make it to be, just because its a big ass company doesnt make them be right. and for every gamer i hope theres a solution for such situations rather sooner than later because its quite sad the players are forced to play such old games on private servers and additionally those that are hosting them because nobody else does have to fear a sue
  15. yes, just like nostalrius, lul

    Just a thought

if there were 3 smaller realms instead, there were 3 un'goros
  17. thats wrong. we are not users. those who bought the game are customers and owners of a copy of the game. thus, we have additional rights . i obviously dont know how these look like in the US but we're not just simple (anonym) users. and blizzard likes to call WoD, legion etc "expansion"; but its questionable if it really just expands the current game or replaces it. and ToU do not replace national law, they can just specify and expand them even if the current law does not cover such behaviour because it is very specific and rather rare, it possibly draws attention to the players situation and might cause a "fix"
  18. so if blizzard just added a patch tomorrow that completly turned wow in a hello-kitty game, it would be OK because they keep calling it World of Warcraft®? im european, but im sure the USA also has customer rights to protect customers from false advertisement and other "abuses"
  19. thats exactly what i feel. we paid for it, yet we can not play it on blizzards servers and we are not allowed to play it elsewhere. we paid for vanilla/tbc and now we are forced to play legion or GTFO. this just does not feel "right" and i wish this movement the best of luck!
