I've got several computers playing on Darrowshire in Linux Mint 17.3, Wine 1.6.2 (latest version d/l from Software Manager), and both Intel integrated graphics and AMD graphics with the FGLRX (3.x Kernel). Note: upgrading to a 4.x kernel will break the proprietary AMD linux drivers, thus I stuck with 17.3 since 18.x no worky. Game play and frame rate are terrific and we run the game in DX9. Yes, OpenGL is a little better but there is no hardware cursor, which totally sucks ass. My lowest powered rig is a 11.6" Asus laptop with Celeron 1.5GHz x2 CPU and 2GB DDR3 with Intel Ivy Bridge graphics with shared memory. Gets 40's FPS out in the world and in dungeons, teens in big cities (think Iron Forge on busy day), maxed out graphics except view distance. Way better than my gaming rig back in 2006.

He'll need to get Consecrate for sure if he's going to occasionally tank. If you get an off-set of cloth healer gear (intellect, spirit, +healing) you can spec retribution and have no issue healing dungeons all the way up to 60. I'm hybrid tank/healer myself for the ease of dungeon grouping, have a full cloth set for healing and that is usually how I roll when not questing. Every good Pally should have at least 2 sets of gear.

Ha, I'm higher level boys - 50 here and a gamer dad as well. My wife and I played and raided up through Cata, quit at Pandaland and tried both WoD and Legion and hated them both. My 14yo boy is now playing with us here on Elysium, I had to really convince the better half to play Classic. Now she loves it. I'd also happily pay for a real progressive Blizzard realm without all the BS, just straight up old school Classic and then onto Burning Crusade, maybe up through Wrath. No QOL shit, no battlenet nonsense, no updated graphics. Old School.

I'm sure some talented young coder could come up with an add-on that could auto-magically set the ".wr on" so that we don't have to manually set this every time upon login. Yes, I am lazy (and forgetful). TIA
