You guys look like customers. -
Since they are being honest, I think we should get more information about core's change.

I agree with you, perhaps I was too harsh on my words. I appologize to all those who felt unjusticed and were just looking for critical thoughts. More than anyone they shared passion towards Legacy community and worked for it, even tried to came up with official servers -what if they wanted jobs aswell?-. But now since Blizzard has been pressuring them legaly and even tho they shared their core and data, that was something to think about it. They probably knew this situation would come, they could predict what Blizz was going to do and then wrote a proper statment to get their asses out the scene while Elysium keeps their core -with different name- and all the population. Bringing vanilla back is just a hobby and when your family, your money even your freedom gets threatened by a hobby, you must do something. -
Thanks for your honesty, I'm proud of you guys. Now let's discuss about Anathema core...

Blizzard indeed followed the "casual gameplay" path and is certainly rewardful as you can see Overwatch and HoTS being quite sucessful. On the other hand is a shame our beloved WoW's atmosphere couldn't hold for much longer and that they care more about expansion sellings rather than founders -the ones who made them pretty much what they are today-. Now talking about Nost, I believe there are two scenarios for this and we may not point fingers and judge without proper knowledge about what happened on background. People are spitting upon the plate they've all been eating for quite some time... Yeah perhaps Nost team sold their "good will" to Blizzard but they may also had no exit thus closing the server and managing this hype. The porpuse still remain "Nostalrius handed us the torch, we have no intention of putting it out". So basically, whatever they purpose was, they gave us another option to keep fighting before withdrawning themselves. Unfortunately all we can do is hope for the best and work towards a stronger community, spread the word and by no means defame Nost for what they did because it's not upon us to judge, as they have did a good job so far. -

"Maintenance will continue for another 12-14 hours. Key people are unavailable at this hour and fixes still need to be implemented. We will give a full report of why the maintenance was needed after it has been completed. Deep apologies from our team for the downtime." 7h ago from dev's twitter. -

Nost may be playing villain but certainly with this there's a big hype going on and by no means one should judge Nost for what they did, afterall they've been working and improving this community for so many years just to keep it alive. They went personally to Blizzard headquarters, there's obviously something happening on the background and I'm certain Blizz is pressuring them legaly. When they closed servers and transfered data, creating this huge Vanilla hype, they did their last big move towards the growth of our classic community. Thanks Nost team for all you did and thank you Elysium team for what you've been doing and -hopefully- will continue to do.
