Or just be grateful that the game you want to play/enjoy is being supported and they are actually fixing issues.

Ah, I missed the part where it says "makes the target invulnerable". But yeah, any offtank regardless of spec *should* be able to take the dmg until the boss dies or until the sleep breaks.

Posting here so I'll see it later. These are pretty useful.

I would just stick with non-dagger main hand weapons ~2.3 speed or higher (base damage matters more than dps for main hand, offhand is just poison procs so a fast dagger with high dps) and not worry about a weapon spec until you start preparing for endgame. At that point you can respec. Lvl 20: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#fZG0xz Lvl 30: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#fZG0Ez0mz Lvl 40: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#fZGoEd0Vz0fo Lvl 60: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#fhxboxLZGoEd0Vz0fo Then respec at 60 when you have 2 blue swords (Oto's Rogue guide spec): http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#f0xfoxhZMhqbbVzxfo

I'm not home right now, so I can't tell you my current latency, but I don't think it's that much. You can try downloading the current version of Leatrix Latency Fix. From an old post explaining the addon: I always download this when I do a clean install of Windows.

It is a magical sleep spell (not immunity), and it simply resets aggro until the tank gets aggro again, have the healer or someone in the group dispel it. Or if you're horde, get an Undead Warrior to tank it. Or run an offtank to pick it up.

Thanks for addon, will install when I get home today. -
Yeah, rogue's strength in pvp is 1v1 straggler kills. If you watch the old roguecraft videos, you'll see that most of his kills are 1v1 open world takedowns. Then he complains that "rogues suck" (jokingly of course) because they can't do AV because of all of the group pvp there. (which is not true, you just pick off stragglers and back cap or rush the towers, taking them from the archer deadzone). It's all about picking your battles, and avoiding the high armor classes unless you can maintain control and remove their armor. Though, if you can pair up with another rogue, or even a druid, one can stun and the other can ambush and just do 2v1-2 straggler fights.

Does anyone have a DPS difference between these races for rogue? (actual numbers) I'm assuming that rogues use a fast weapon in the offhand for poisons, which means sword/dagger or mace/dagger for Human. Nightelf would likely be able to use dagger/dagger or Any/dagger for combat. Someone said somewhere on the Warrior forum that the dmg difference between Human and other races for fury was ~15%, but I would guess that means sword/sword. So is it a 5-10% boost? Is there gear to make up for it without gimping myself too much?
-
I see, so being human would only be a slight benefit up until you get Maladath, then it's a tossup. Extra stealth level and 1% dodge might not be terrible for leveling...
-
Okay, so you get 15% base increase in damage on glancing blows, plus a 1% reduction in chance to be dodged/blocked/parried by the mob. Unless I'm understanding that wrong. This is according to the last post in that thread and the formula: "The base chance for your attack to be dodged by the mob is: 5% + (Defense Skill - Weapon Skill)*.1%" from http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Weapon_skill

From the warrior Forum: wrathchild1971's post. This being said, I doubt the difference would be that high for rogues, and for non-human you can at least play daggers without feeling like you're gimping dmg.
