  1. Problem is, most people will have played on Darrowshire for a long time, when TBC is released. They are gonna want some change, no matter how amazing they think Vanilla is. Most people who like Vanilla, also like TBC.
  2. Saying Darrowshire has low pop is such nonsense: It has higher pop than Anathema. Even if it is true, it's only true for the Horde - We are thriving here on the Alliance side. Also, you're completely ignoring the hundreds (If not thousands) of players, that are gonna start playing with the launch of TBC. Let's not forget: TBC was a bigger, and more populare "expansion", than Vanilla. Populations will increase, overall. Splitting the servers might actually be what is best, for both leveling, lag, and PvP.
  3. Not only that: World of WarCraft is actually a PvE-game, orginally (And still is, to this day (Retail)). The first BGs were added a little under 6 months after the release of the game, and AB came as late as patch 1.7 (ZG patch). The only form of PvP there was the 6 first months of the game, was World PvP (Southshore vs Tarren Mill anyone?). And let me remind you all that EPL and Silithus, didn't have the PvP-objectives until the very end of Vanilla (Patch 1.12). PvP was a small and very unbalanced aspect of the game, but some people loved it and wanted more, so Blizzard decided to give them BGs, to rip each other apart in there. Implying that PvP is some huge aspect of the game, is to think that the conflict between the Horde and Alliance was a major plotpoint in vanilla, lore-wise - It wasn't. It was in WC1 through 3, plus expansions. But with WoW? No, it was shoved to the side, to make room for PvE, like leveling, raiding etc. WoW is a PvE-game, with some PvP.
  4. No, Nelythia. It's a waste of time because you have such a negative attitude, that no one is interested in. It's fine that you have an opinion and such, but you don't have to be a dick about it. What you are essentially doing, is the same as going to a youtube video, saying how much the video sucks. It's not constructive, it's just provocative, at best. I do apologize, Guardian452. Didn't mean to cause trouble.
  5. Well, I just wasted my time reading another of your toxic and biased posts, at least.

Alright. Thanks for all the answers, guys <3 I guess that confirms my view.

    Striker's Garb

I know you can combine it with pieces from other sets. That's pretty obvious with it only being 5 pieces, as compared to the 8 (T1 & T2) or 9 (T3) of the other ones. But my point is, that the Head, Shoulders, Chest, Legs, and Feet-slots would benefit you way more, were you wearing something like Dragonstalker (T2), even though it's a "worse" set, in the sense that it has a lower stat budget. But simply because of the design of Striker's Garb, it just seems so badly made for any Hunter spec or even playstyle. Look at any Hunter guide: "Don't ever use Arcane Shot", and here we have a set made to buff Arcane Shot (I'm like "Wat"). Hunter guides don't even have a value for something like Spell Damage, simply because it's a mostly worthless stat for us. Yet here's a set where it's supposedly it's main feature that it has this Spell Damage. It's the equvelivant of having a Warrior set with +Spell Healing, so Bloodthirst and Blood Raze will heal more, I mean come on, lol. On top of all this, by using the 5 item slots on Striker's Garb, you're actively choosing to not be using the set bonuses from the other sets, which are actually really great. Ranged Armor Debuff for the whole raid? Yes please! More RAP? Don't mind if I do! More AP to me AND my pet? Yup! It seems to me that: 8/8 T2 > 5/5 T2.5 + 3/8 T2.

    Striker's Garb

Hello, Darrowshire Huntere here. With AQ just around the corner for Darrowshire, and having taken a much closer look at this set, Striker's Garb, I'm really confused. What is this set for? It has slightly higher stats such as Stamina and Agility, than T2, because of the higher itemlevel and therefore also stat budget. But every single other aspect of the set, is just so bad. What is the point of this set? For an Arcane Shot spec? Is that even a thing? Is it used for kiting? It's set bonuses are just horrible. Were Blizz high when they designed this? I know this is vanilla and plate gear with spirit + agilty is a thing (Yada yada), but it really seems like they were just fucking around, trying out random shit when you look at this set. I'm so confused.... Striker's Garb What is it for? Any answers are greatly appreciated, lol. Kind regards, Raz

    Lupos DPS vs Wolf DPS

It's not with or without shield - It's with or without armor aka gear including shield.

    Lupos DPS vs Wolf DPS

So, I just did a duel with a Warrior: Bloodaxe Worg did 37-70 dmg per hit, and 60-120 per hit when the warrior was naked. Lupos did an average about 140 dmg per hit, and the same when the warrior was naked. At this point I'm really confused - Druids must be having something that reduced magic/shadow dmg in bearform, or lupos is bugged somehow in pvp.

    Lupos DPS vs Wolf DPS

PvP-only is the only answer I can think of that makes sense. I just killed 20 level 55 Shardtooth Maulers in Winterspring, first with Lupos, then with a Bloodaxe Worg. Both level 60, with Rank 8 Bite, Rank 4 Furious Howl, and Rank 3 Trueshot Aura. Growl switched off. Lupos did, over 10 fights, an average of 85 DPS (4100 HP with an average of 48 sec per kill) Bloodaxe Worg did, over 10 fights, an average of 65 DPS (4100 HP with an average of 64 sec per kill) Based on this, Lupos should do about 32% more DPS than a Bloodaxe Worg. This is completely opposite of what my duel showed. I will try and test vs a warrior with and then without armor on. Stay tuned. None of my pets have the default name. But they are both just shown as "Unknown" regulary nonetheless. I have no idea why you think renaming it would fix anything. Even if they are not "Unkown" the damage still isn't recorded. I really don't know what to do about it. It seems fine in raids though?

    Lupos DPS vs Wolf DPS

Nope. It should be easy for you to see it yourself. Try and find a druid. But with that being said, it's starting to look like a PvP-thing, only.

    Lupos DPS vs Wolf DPS

http://realmplayers.com/CharacterViewer.aspx?realm=Dar&player=Druidtank He was in MC-tank gear, so he could have like what? 20 shadow resistance, at most. That would not cut Lupos' damage by at least 30%. Besides, if it was indeed resistance being the issue, you would see "(X damage resisted)" at the end of every line. I did in fact see that at some attacks, but the damage outside of that resisted damage was fluctuating very too much, to count for the small number resisted. It simply doesn't add up. I should have taken a screenshot of it, but it seemed so clear when I did the test, that there seemed no point in it. It could, and that is what I'm starting to think - Am testing both pet's damage atm. Will report results as soon as I'm done.

Well, what kind of reduction could that be? He wasn't even self-buffed.

    Lupos DPS vs Wolf DPS

Hey guys, So I've been raiding with Lupos for a few weeks now, and I know that he does Shadow Damage. However, a while ago I tested him on a druid from my guild, in a duel: Lupos started to DPS the druid, in Night Elf-form, and everything looked fine, but as soon as the druid went into Bearform, Lupos' damage fell drastically. According to https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/33134-lupos-taming-guide-elysium-only, Lupos' damage is supposed to not affected by armor. This seems to be false, according to my own testing. Not only that, but on top of that, Lupos' damage also seem to be affected by resistances. In that duel with the druid, some part of Lupos' damage was also resisted. So, the question is: If my testing is correct, and Lupos indeed have to go through both armor and resistance of a mob (raid boss), is he even superior to an ordinary Wolf pet, which would only have to go through armor? I would guess the answer would be, that an ordinary Wolf is superior, but raid buffs and debuffs on the target makes this uncertain, in my opinion. If Lupos indeed have to go through armor and resistance, that would also mean that he would benefit twice as much from the debuffs of a raid: Sunder Armor, Faerie Fire, Curse of Shadows, Improved Shadowbolt etc etc. I would test this myself, but addons like DPSMate or SWStats can't seem to record pet damage. At least not when I don't attack myself. I've tried to shoot a mob only once, but my pet's damage still don't record, and by the end of combat, the addon thinks I've only done like 5 DPS that entire fight. What are you guys thoughts? Any information or ideas on how to test this, or anything like that? Thanks! Raz
