As someone who both raids (6/8 BWL) and PvPs (R9), the blue set should be updated now. I have no dog in this fight since I have access to both gear types, but the current PvP blue set is honestly useless. I only bought one piece of the set and that's because I've had absolute garbage luck getting T1 or T2 legs.

You do realize this means absolutely nothing considering Rhok will fire more often, right?

SHOCKING old AV tactics text from 2006 dug up!

You saying you played both sides of AV in vanilla isn't proof of anything. Check this out. "I played both sides of AV in vanilla and Horde could definitely go through the back of DB." Find some actual evidence it didn't exist, your memory isn't a valid source. -
2.9 is slow.

BG's are pretty pointless on weekends when the population is high. 1-2 second delay on any action.

Disable world buffs in raid instances
Myllz replied to Unbreakable's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Not gonna happen, nor should it. Want to not have the buffs for your raid? Don't get them. That was easy. -
"I'd like to try and cheat on this server, but before I do I'd like to know if I'll get caught doing so."

Don't stand by the portal or get yourself in combat. This isn't a punishable offense, it's allowed.
-
The easiest way to increase your DPS is having a weapon with high DPS.
-
Doesn't matter that the 2.9 causes delays, the damage output is still better than Bloodseeker.
-
This doesn't exist. It depends on specs, faction, encounter, etc.
-
lolwut Rhok'delar is better than Bloodseeker.
-
Yeah, we no longer have hunters to give them to at this point. Sinews from Onyxia on the other hand...

OP said he doesn't care about PvP, so it's pretty irrelevant.
-
Yup, good bow and easy to get. Alliance only, though.
-
Shit luck. We've gotten four leafs and two eyes so far.
-
No. It's around a 40% chance to drop regardless if anyone is on the quest or not.
-
It makes no discernible difference. Dwarf Stoneform is very good in PvP, but does nothing in terms of damage. Shadowmeld is also useful for utility, but again does nothing for damage output. If you'e playing for BiS, the gun racial means nothing and the NE agility bonus is negligible. Play whichever one you like more.

It's dynamic, based on the population. With a population of around 6,000 the respawn was around 90 minutes. If The Cleaner is spawned the respawn is 15 minutes.

Imminent Doom is a downgrade from Rhok'delar, so I'm not sure why you'd go after it over a melee class if you've already done the leaf quest. The main upgrade from Rhok'delar is Ashjre'thul.

Anyone have a current (1.6) BiS list for Elysium?
-
Make sure you equip the arrows, putting them in your quiver is just bag space. There's a slot next to your ranged weapon on your character sheet to equip ammo.
-
The requirement on ammo is for your character level. Thorium Arrows have a level requirement of 52, which means you can't use them until your character is level 52. You can use any combination of ammo and weapons as long as you're the required level.

Raid Loot Restore/Fix Rules Should Be Changed
Myllz posted a topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Last night our guild killed Vaelastrasz and for whatever reason he dropped no loot. Wasn't an ML or loot setting problem, he just had nothing on him for anyone in the raid as soon as he died. He was also immediately skinnable upon death, so there was nothing on him from the start. We put in a ticket and within a few minutes (Vael was still dead and unskinned at this point) a GM responded. The GM's response was that he couldn't do anything because they require video proof. This is not a complaint about this particular instance or trying to get the loot we missed out on. However, this is a suggestion that for raids, the loot restore rules need to be modified. It's entirely obnoxious that groups and guilds should be required to record or stream every single raid they go through just in case something bugs out with loot. It's quite obvious to look through logs and see that there was no loot distribution after a raid boss kill. For dungeons and things like that I understand the dev/GM team not having enough time to deal with loot drops and what not, and that's perfectly fine, but I believe the restore rules should be changed for raids because the current system of "sorry, can't do anything since you weren't video recording the fight" is terrible.
