Are you sure someone didn't just steal your name? If you didn't transfer, your name was open for anyone to take. It is very possible that someone took the available name from you in your absence. edit: seeing you stated you did transfer, I dont know how to help you. Good luck, if someone is playing on "your" character, it was likely a compromised account.

It doesn't work because it was disabled a long time ago. Did you transfer your character when they were available and are just not able to login now? It is possible that the account was compromised and that account banned for gold spam, botting, etc. If you did not transfer your characters before the transfer was no longer available, then you are just out of luck. I am curious, how are you sure your character was transferred and currently on these servers, if you are unable to access your account?

Why don't you go check one of their members in question yourself? Why bother a GM with something so useless.

Are you trying to help the underdog or join the side that's winning the most? I ask, because your decision on what faction/race to play should be 100% your own based on what you would prefer to play. Choosing a side based on statistics may just leave you feeling incomplete at 60 when you are playing on a faction but wished you had started on the other instead. The tides of pvp/pve could swing drastically at some point, as more and more players hit 60 and start doing max level activities. Currently the only statistics I think you should care about is that there are a very good healthy amount of activity on the server. Also that the Horde tend to dominate the population split, it is usually somewhere in the average ballpark of 55% horde and 45% alliance. It does swing some days to almost 60% horde 40% alliance, but I have yet to see it actually reach those numbers. Play what makes you happiest and enjoy it! After all, it is only a game :)

I do not ever see Anathema, Elysium, & Zeth'kur being merged into one UNLESS Elysium and Zeth'kur reach the same patch as Anathema. Currently Anathema is, I believe, 4 or 5 patches ahead of the other two servers. That is AV, BWL, and ZG all out already (and probably almost completely farmed to full BiS). Maybe someday the populations across all three of the PvP servers will be so low, that a merge will be necessary to save money and keep the remaining player base happy, but at the moment it isnt going to happen. Especially without the two newest servers having had time to catch up to the patch that Anathema is currently on. The best any of you wanting a merge might get is a Elysium and Zeth'kur merge, as they were both new servers that were created within two weeks of each other and on the same patch. Even then, I do not see this happening anytime in the near future.

Twitch will delete most vods that contain any private server streams. At least that's my experience going back to when Nost started really blowing up. I can't imagine they catch every video. I have seen a lot more private server streams on Youtube than I have Twitch, which sucks because I prefer twitch for my streaming needs.

I agree with you about QoL improvements, but some of them are definitely not necessary for ever day leveling/farming/grinding. Good luck :)

Have you added any new addons, or turned any existing on, (ie turning on PallyPower for the first time since reaching a level to use Greater Blessings) since you started noticing this game crash? What I would do is load up the minimal amount of addons I felt necessary to have, then play for a while and see if the error occured. If it did not, I would then logout and turn on ONE additional addon and continue playing normally until I was able to help narrow down an addon that was an issue. If you load up and addon, and the error happens, try turning it back off, and continue playing for another amount of time. Do not assume that addon is the only addon causing an issue. You should have a base of addons that seem to work fine for X amount of time before Y addon(s) cause a crash. You may be having a problem with two addons trying to do something at the same time and the game doesn't know how to handle that information, so instead it causes a crash. It could also be your client having issues, but as someone who also uses a decent number of addons (not quite as many as you though) I have had newly downloaded or existing but not ever loaded addons cause issues.

Wow, that's a lot of addons... uh, you may need to try the method of starting the game without any addons enabled. Then start enabling them one by one until your error occurs. Thus narrowing down the addon(s) causing your issue. Unless you find someone who happens to be using the exact same combinations of addons and receiving the same error, then you may be on your own for this one.

Your account probably got hacked while you were away and used for gold spam. You probably will not get your account back if this was the case, BUT you can attempt to appeal your case in the appeals forum. You will not get any assistance with a closed account in this forum. Good luck! :)

May not be blizzlike, but it is possible, as I have a level 40 something character on each faction. As far as the OP, I do not like the idea of merging the servers yet. I do think it will be necessary at some point, but as someone still leveling up a character on Elysium I would prefer to not add even more chaos into the some of the mostly already cluttered zones. I do agree that it sucks for ZK players at the moment, if during a persons peak playing hours the population does not seem to fit well with what they are trying to accomplish. Looking at the website now shows ~6800 on Elysium and ~1500 on ZK. Would seem that each server may be healthier if it was somewhere in the 4000-6000 range, but that's just my opinion.

It has been trending towards Horde on almost every occasion. I believe it averages somewhere in the ballpark of a 55%/45% split.

Is there a functional copy of this out there somewhere? The only ones I have found either don't light up the bubbles when I gain a stack OR give me lua errors every time I start attacking anything. Maybe I just need to get an addon that blocks error messages and keep using that version, at least it shows stacks properly.. Thanks for any help.

I mentioned this before and got told I was 100% wrong, but I remember a friend having to regrind for R14 after they reworked the gear and added some new weapons, so he could have the new weapons. However, I have no problem with the way this server is handling this, as it was a pain in the ass before, this just makes it a little nicer for everyone.

Without having any screenshots, your post really doesn't hold up well here in Kangaroo Court. Sorry for the loss of your mats, some people are just dicks. The GMs will not do anything about this, as far as I am aware. In the future I would start taking more screenshots of these types of transactions. Sorry :\

...and what do gold spammers have the most of? TIME! They are spamming CONSTANTLY! what do you think is stopping them from spending more time leveling OR running bots until they are even higher levels than now? What stops them from spamming on stolen accounts with mid-level characters vs their own accounts? Your 'solution' is not a very viable one. You want to be helpful? Screenshot every mail, whisper, and spam you see and report it! Gold sellers are not going away. Accounts here are free and I can only assume business is booming, or else they would have no reason to be around. ps. I am not trying to be rude, just pointing out the flaw in your 'solution'. If you think someone has not thought of this already, you clearly have not browsed the forums before making your first post.

I received in-game mail spam from a level 41 warrior the other week. I can only assume this person had their account compromised. Your idea really only solves a very small portion of the problem, which is the whispers and general/trade spam. It also does not totally solve this issue because if they are required to level to say, level 21, they will just level up a ton of accounts to 21 and then start spamming again.
