Not sure where you got that, I never said I was going to even waste the effort to do such a thing. But I can assure you someone will at some point :P But by all means, continue to let the community degrade because of people running a cartel and selling shit to gold farmers.

Then if griefing, borderline exploiting and such becomes the 'science' and insane investment of time/effort, then there is a simple solution. Do unto them as they do unto the community. Bring out the traces, grab the IPs, find their location, reveal their information to the internet. Welcome to the real jungle. /shrug

That would be the case in a normal WoW server with a normal community. The thing is... this is a private server, one that yields quite an extraordinary number of basement dwellers to boot. Sure, the issues occured in live somewhat, but they generally got crushed by the community because of such a small minority vs a much larger majority. The problem is, like minded people that got crushed like bugs there, came to places like this to live their lives as kings. I mean seriously... we have a guy who devotes his ENTIRE gaming life to ganking lowbies in STV, day in and day out. I know Spiri isn't a bot, but jesus, he operates like one tormenting players as if it is his only way to obtain lube for his man-to-hand sessions. The way I look at it, allowing this sort of thing slowly drags things into the grave. I'd imagine Elysium likes having a player base, no? It would be against their own philosophy to just let people disappear off in droves.

Agreed. Eventually, it just encourages bad behaviors all around. Both in terms of people buying gold and in terms of people attacking one another in methods external to the game. I can assure you, once they piss off the wrong person, they will have some sort of financial ramifications to deal with. Anyone who works in an IT environment can tell you that there is no such thing as a safe and impenetrable source of data on the internet.

The problem is, these people are intentionally doing stuff to illegitimately monopolize the market. From what I heard about Nost, there was a Horde and Alliance group working together to accomplish this goal so that they could corner everything. The bigger thing about it is that it is ruining gameplay for a lot of people, and when it comes down to it, the few assholes really shouldn't have priority over the masses themselves. So only time will tell whether or not the GMs of Elysium make a stand to remove stuff like this. After all, people resort to gold buying and other methods, when they can't obtain loot/money themselves. This is a prime example of allowing gold farmers to exist, and giving them a reason to do so. On the other hand, eventually people will take matters into their own hands. It may be a video game, but if people take shit so seriously as to start something like a cartel, people will just go after the players themselves. It is still considered PvP when you try to physically sabotage their machines or reveal their personal information onto the internet right? :P

I would like to second this request. As mentioned in my other thread, I have no way of verifying what e-mail I used and I still have not been recieving any e-mails with regards to my 2FA. You can still change your password (at least in game), but yeah, I am sharing your concerns here.

Hello, I am trying to set my account up for the two-step authentication but I am not receiving an e-mail to complete it. That having been said, I tried going to the control panel in order to verify which e-mail I have set to my account. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any information available to see which e-mail my account is using. Is there any way I can see which e-mail I used for setting up my Elysium WoW account, to determine whether or not something is blocking the emails from coming through? Thanks, Azure

Yeah, that may have to be the only option until they can help us get the 2FA working. Sadly, I checked every e-mail I had and between either some clearing done on Google and Yahoos side. I have not found a single Elysium or Nostralius e-mail on my comcast e-mail or the other e-mails I use (have used).

Bumping for some help on this. I see a lot more topics popping in of people getting hacked. I'd like to get this resolved so that I can have the authentication in place and some peace of mind before the risk increases if possible.
