I made an alliance hunter few days ago just to have some fun, but I have no experience playing ally whatsoever. I would be really glad if someone could make a simple guide of BiS weapons similar to Poly'S for horde :)

Flasks are for progression, not for regular farm. Yeah, first weeks can be expensive, but then you shouldn't need them. And BWL speed run? Don't make me laugh, that's just pure greed. Nobody is forcing you to do that.

Most notably Tarnished Elven Rings, but the whole list doesnt make any sense patch wise ... Some items are bis for 1.4 and some are for 1.9. The Savage chest should get changed even later.

Could be worse, but yeah. It's not specified for any patch. Maybe 1.9 +, but then some items are missing too. I wouldn't rely it too much.

You can easily be topping the DPS charts if you know how to minmax your hunter. You can always go all in DPS, unlike other classes, because you have feign death and you are ranged, meaning most go in/go out boss mechanics dont apply to you. With max range you can also stay out of plenty nasty debuffs (Lucifron curse, Geddon mana burn etc.). I am personally always 2nd in raid dps (pet included), only behind our top fury warrior. Can even be no.1 on numerous boss fights. Look for Arrowdei hunter guide or Timecop. Guys like these can teach you how to be a hunter and not a huntard.

Yeah, that's the only real thing that affects pet dps in the same species, but I wouldn't adress much value to it. You will not be using full BM talents on lvl 60 anyway, therefore no Frenzy.

Step 1 : Tame King Bangalash Step 2 : Tame ANY other cat and make it the same lvl as King Bangalash Step 3 : Look at their DPS Step 4 : Realize that you don't know anything about vanilla and all cats have same DPS

From my levelling experience on Elysium and Kronos beforehand, the Wind Serpent is the best pet for levelling. The Lightning Breath instantly attacks the enemy for very high dmg and by the time the mob gets to you, he just uses it again with Growl. Not only its a huge amount of dmg that cat/raptor cant provide at the start of the fight, but it also makes your pet to hold aggro very well. In some very long fights the cat might outdps the serpent, but since the difference in dmg is very small (only 3%), I suggest you get serpent for levelling. Obviously Lupos is still the best DPS pet in the game and will be until patch 1.9. And no matter what the name of cat is, their DPS is always the same. Btw : Unleashed Fury, Ferocity and Frenzy talents all affect Wind Serpent's Lightning Breath.

I am doing similar run times with 20/31/0 spec, but my 3 piece T1 helps a lot with mana issues on princess.

I don't have problem soloing either Princess or Rockgrip, but I'm prebis/T1 gear and using Lupos. With worse gear i reccomend kiting princess, it takes longer, but as long as you know what you are doing, it's hard to screw up.

Thanks for "fixing" something that wasnt bugged ... Meanwhile mages still happily AoE farming and rogues pickpocketing. I have no idea, why did you do this to prevent ONE class for farming that wasn't even TOP farming method. This is just discrimination of hunters and makes me sad, especially considering it was possible to do this on retail vanilla.

I have similar experience from Kronos tbh, the 3% difference in white dmg is overshadowed by the instant lightning breath with high dmg. Also Kronos had ZG released so +1 LB rank, making the difference slightly larger.

Sorry Cruzix, but you are wrong on this. My Wind Serpent lvl 60 is far better than my Cat lvl 60, I lvled with it and the Lightning Breath is simply awesome skill with huge dmg, unlike Claw or Bite. It gets boosted by the Unleashed Fury talent as well.

I dont think this should be happening while lvling and if it does, any pet will suffice. Better bring your cat/raptor/wind serpent pet for DPS.

I have accidentaly hidden the minimap icon and dont know how to get it back ... any tips? Edit: Nvm found out how to.

I'm not sure how OP responds to this, but I'm pretty sure Lupos does a lot more DPS than any cat. When i lvl up my Lupos to 60, I can provide the data myself, but even on lvl 47 he hits incredibly hard with 20/31/0 spec

I tried using it and it didnt work for me when i was doing the same Quest. The cats always attacked me first and I couldn't find them until they did ... maybe a bug?

All I can say is that they seriously fucked up and if this stays, then people who didn't leave until now WILL leave very soon

Not so smart to set 4,9k cap on a server with 10k peak players ... People will leave and never come back. 1600 ppl queue ... I'm gonna wait AT LEAST an hour to play.
