It's not even a need for flask. They only "need" is because of their own guild rules. The fights are tuned for not having them. You're either hardcore enough to have them or you're not. You're crying that a BMW is too expensive to buy atm when you don't need a BMW to drive.

How would you deal with other unique identifiers, such as the characterID or guildID? You do hand over gold to an npc when using the AH. High prices are good. Flaskbuffs shouldn't be up all the time. If your guild demands a 100% flask uptime then that's their decision. It's your decision if you can do that. If you can't then you may have to talk to your guild about it.
