We do not permit any kind of trade involving real money whether it is for gold, items, or services. We will ban, without hestitation or prejudice, any player caught violating these rules.

Hi Shykev. If you open your config.wtf file in the wtf folder in your WoW installation directory and remove the SET realmName "...." line, you will be able to select a new realm when you log in.

We recently banned 140 accounts and recovered in excess of 160,000 gold. This topic no longer serves a useful purpose and is locked.

If you get banned, you're free to create a new account and start over. Learn from the experience, and don't do it again.

It's account sharing, and if we catch it, the players involved will be banned. Have one person make and hold the account, and have the other officers coordinate with that player to move items in and out. We specifically allow the account owner to have their account and their bank account in the same capital city or goblin AH city for this reason. How you coordinate outside of account sharing is up to you.

I'm quite sick of hearing the "my own ticket took a while to resolve, therefore the GMs are lazy and tardy, work harder mule, yah yah! *whip crack*" bull. We're working hard every day to process tickets, stop assuming that your experience is at all representative. Not every ticket can be resolved with a quick visit from a GM. Some require senior GMs and involve item manipulation (restoration, bugged pet deletion, for example). These tickets are recorded seperately so they can be handled more efficiently by the senior GMs. There's going to be a time delay, after which many pending actions will be resovled. Unless we specifically need to talk to you again, your ticket will be closed while this action is pending. Doesn't mean we aren't doing anything. Some tickets are concerning, and we have to investigate further. We may spend days or weeks investigating and gathering evidence. You will never know. (People always assume it's the last thing they did that got them banned, and complain that their appeals are rejected. Sorry, but the weight of evidence that we gather before banning someone manually is against you if you appeal. If it isn't conclusive, you won't be banned manually, so when you go to appeal, you chances are low). From your perspective, all you see is that nothing has changed, and you make the assumption that nothing is being done with your report. There's a flipside to this. Don't assume that just because you haven't been banned yet, that you aren't on our radar, or that you won't be. If you're win-trading, AFK in a BG (and no, "we always get beaten by premades so why try" is not an acceptable excuse), using a bugged pet in PVP, safespotting, botting, multiboxing, using hacks or cheats, buying or selling gold, or selling or sharing accounts, chances are someone knows about it, and chances are that sooner or later we will too. There's no statute of limitations here. The reality is that we are working very hard to keep things fair, and to eliminate bad actors and damaging activities from our realms. This is, and always will be, our number one priority.

I can assure you... there are few things more satisfying to a GM than to haul a bunch of bots to viper and ban them forever.

Hi Morgulz, we are still trying to work out how to help you. You have a singularly unusual case. We understand how frustrating this must be for you, and we are looking at possible solutions. We apologise for the lack of communication but we really haven't had anything to communicate. Rest assured we are aware of your issue and discussing it.

Without speaking specifically about this case, a couple of pointers for those who want to avoid getting banned: You may have up to TWO accounts online at the same time temporarily (and they must be in the same capital city or goblin ah city) This is for the purpose of trading items with an alt, portaling your alt, buffing your alt, having your alt do crafting, that kind of thing. This allowance does not extend to using the AH, it is intended for actions that you cannot do by logging out of one character into another You may have these accounts logged in together only temporarily for these purposes. This means 10-20 minutes max (use your common sense) You are not allowed to abuse any kind of anti-idle/anti-afk tool, it doesn't matter what it is or how it works. Using any kind of external automation tool is botting and is a permanent ban offence

Don't hijack threads for your own issues

On the whole, Elysium takes a hands-off approach supporting in game solutions for in game problems. That is to say, the community will sort it out. That said. A great approach to the ettiquette of looting is: Active -> MS -> OS/General Greed/Vendor Spec Active - the roll you are playing in the dungeon Mainspec - the main roll you usually play on a character Offspec - another spec you would like to play. If you're needing for offspec you should ask if it is okay to need for offspec, dont assume you can just have it.

This was intended as a stop gap measure for new accounts being created to receive transferred characters from nost and until we could get 2FA up and running securely. The in game command is now disabled. We have made improvements to our mail system so you may have better luck setting up 2FA now.

To clarify: When we receive a report of botting, a GM will investigate. A GM can quickly confirm whether a player or bot is in control of a character. Once that confirmation is made, a ban is issued against the player. If the player then lodges a ban appeal, a separate, senior GM will review the case to make sure that the necessary investigation was performed and the conclusions are justified. They will then either repeal the ban or confirm it.

We do not comment on bans or ban appeals, and we do not take suggestions on who should or shouldn't be banned.
