GM's do not respond to bot reports in forum topics, please raise an in-game ticket for the GMs to review.

Long story short : Setup 2FA If you do not have 2FA setup, you have no recourse to complain about being hacked. It is the player's sole responsiblity to ensure their accounts are properly secured.

I don't have twitter access, and I am not one of the CM's that manages FB or reddit. We do try to notify by twitter, however at that time we did not have someone available with that access. If you're caught using any kind of external tool - hardware or software - to unfairly gain advantage in the game or to negate or bypass mechanics or design, you will be banned. Yes. Cheating by using peripherals and third party software to compensate for lack of skill or to mitigate difficulty has been around sine they added turbo-fire switches to joysticks. Doesn't mean it isn't cheating.

Hi I'm CM Gears, We apologise if you've been caught by the auto-muting triggers in game. These are relatively new and devs are working to improve their reliability and eliminate false positives as much as possible. If you have been muted, it should clear automatically after ~60 minutes.

Modifying game files is not supported or condoned. As such, should the internal game protection trigger a ban off modified game files, that ban would likely be permanent. It is important to remember that "haven't" is not the same as "won't". This means that you are using modified files at your own risk. Officially, Elysium realms require an unmodified 1.12 WoW client (excepting addons and settings). Anything else is not supported. There are no plans by Elysium to introduce updated models or animations. Locking this thread.

We cannot comment on the specifics of each case, but bans are never issued without reason. If your account was banned it is likely because of either a player report that was investigated, or because you were detected cheating, selling or buying gold, or using modified game files. Hi, Amzo I'm CM Gears. Elysium is no longer performing character transfers from Nost and all unclaimed characters have been completely removed. Futher, while it might be possible that another player claimed your character (though unlikely) it's also possible that they are simply using the same name. We would not be able to transfer the character even if you did have access to your old email as Elysium no longer retains those records, and the character may be in no way related beyond a shared name to your original character. I hope this clarifies things for you.

It's not about walljumping in general, often there is no harm to it, and sometimes it's necessary (ZF when the door glitches, for example). It's when you are doing it for a competitive advantage over other players, or to cheat against intended mechanics.

Permanent bans include closing the account. You will get a notification your account has been closed and is no longer available when you log in. Temporary/provisional bans will state you are temporarily banned when you try and log in. You may be able to appeal a provisional ban.

I can assure you, we take careful steps to verify before banning. If someone has been banned it would be because of gold spamming, illegal behaviour (such as exploiting or wall jumping), the use of third party programs including key press or macro applications or bot programs, multi-boxing, etc. While we acknowledge that it is always possible that mistakes are made (and hence have a confidential ban appeal process), we take care to verify behaviour and records before performing a ban.

As the CM in question, allow me to clarfiy: Any use of walljumping, terrain glitching, or other exploit to negate design or mechanics, to gain an advantage (whether you view that vantage as simply equalising, and whether or not it puts you ahead), is against the ToS. This applies universally, not just to BGs. If you have a problem with the balance of a BG, and you have a suggestion on how it can be made better, then we do want to hear from you, but neither the balance nor your perceived difficulty gives you permission to ignore the ToS that you agreed to in whole when you created your account.
