That's how it works man.. If I was in a guild that couldn't kill Rag, but got server first Ony. Then another guild got both Rag AND Ony. They technically win the progression race. Same thing happened here. Yes, you guys cleared BWL first (mainly because you have twice the population), but were lacking the world boss kills in order to secure top positions on the progression charts. I do realize Realmplayers did reset and runs off stupid rules (must see loot from the boss on a guild character every month to keep the progression of that boss as "killed"), yet horde is now steadily becoming the top contender for the top spots now that we are slowly settling in. We will see when ZG comes out which guild is able to down all the optionals first. Then progressing through AQ will set realmplayers up to see who really is top dogs. Good luck in the race my friend.

Now I'm going to tell you how to fix population across all fronts. But this is only that. A population fix. There are pros and cons to every decision. At some point we all agree Zethkur needs to be merged somehow or else face extinction. Even if Zethkur were to dip to 300 players hypothetically, if given the option I'm about to relay to you, I personally think you will see a large amount of people who left return. ALLOW TRANSFERS FROM ZETHKUR -> ANY OTHER REALM The only con I see is ruining economies, but lets see how "bad" it could be ruined starting with Anathema. Anathema is progressing through their Wareffort, they have been farming mats for years and the economy has already seen a huge hiccup when all of the hacking took place with millions of artificial gold being flooded into the economy. Adding a few more stockpiled items to an already seasoned server may fluxuate markets for a week or two but in the end will recieve roughly the same price point after that. Darrowshire, since darrow is pve mat prices are already cheaper than pvp realms due to an easier farm time without ganking or faction fighting. Thus a stockpile of items wouldn't be the best idea since you would be practically halving your gold by stockpiling resources. Expect zethkur transfers to darrow to bring their wealth in the form of gold, the economy would actually see a boost of demand due to zethkur adding wealth to a much needed market! Elysium, the market at elysium is already so overly saturated that no type of stockpile will be able to effect it for over a week. The population is so massive any supply will be bought easily within a week if sold properly. Allowing the merge to be with ALL REALMS is the key allows people who want a big server to go to Elysium Who want the most progressed server (maybe tired of farming MC all day) to go to Anathema And the people who thought maybe the PVP thing isn't for them to go to Darrowshire Win-win, all realms get pop boost and the crippling realm gets absorbed into a community of their choosing. Message to Elysium Staff: Your community has been speaking for the last few MONTHS on this issue because we've seen it happen on multiple realms or games we've all played on. If you remain to ignore the issue then I'm telling you for 95% certainty that Zethkur will be under 500 players before BWL launches (EDIT: It's already happening...). OR you can act on this and be able to retain and even possibly GAIN BACK recently lost players who now have a second chance to play on a realm of their choice with how they actually want to play. DISCLAIMER: I do not play on Zeth, I just dislike watching server devs kill their own project because they are apathetic or ignorant to the situations they CHOOSE to ignore. Please post below telling me if you think my idea will work or if you might have found a loophole in my thinking so we can design the best strategy possible for Elysium to move forward with this plan. Okay if time is what your deciding factor is then your logic should be to close the realm and not allow transfers. Since this would save the most time. But you want to allow a merge to elysium... so it wouldn't be farfetch to allow merge across all three realms if you're already going down that route. First off you don't even know how to spell the server to begin with. Secondly, I can use your same logic against you, if you wanted to play on Elysium you could have gone there in the first place. If you truly wanted to play there you would have waited in the queue like everybody else. You have me mistaken, I do NOT play on Zeth'kur. I just dislike watching 1/4 of the project withering away when I know the solution and nobody is listening to it. This is why I'm making noise, because I know 100% I have the best solution. So you want to merge Zethkur with Elysium ONLY. I can see ~3k concurrent Zeth'Kur players during peaks returning simply because they would be on the new realm. But you have to take in count one thing, the people who went to zethkur in the first place are the people who dislike extremely overpopulated realms. They want a realm with ~3-4k, and which servers have that? Anathema and Darrowshire. Maybe some of them are sick and tired of the constant ganking and want to try go to the PVE server where you can actually get shit done in a timely manner. Who knows? What makes your decision to make for others? If you are on Zethkur and want to go to Elysium, MY option still allows you to do this. It just doesn't force the other thousands of people who might not want to. Like you even stated "reroll to the server of your choosing"... you are contradicting yourself. You want to be able to go to Elysium, but if anybody dares go to darrowshire or anathema, then they MUST reroll. There is no logic to your thinking.

I Agree fully that the new realms fucked over the whole thing. They should have just brang back the nost servers and left it as that.

The people on Zethkur are the more casual playerbase, they will NOT reroll and start all over again. If the server shuts down with no migration then say goodbye to thousands of loyal players just wanting a home with their characters. Remember when Elysium merged Elysium-OLD with Nostalrius-PVP? with your logic that shouldn't of ever happened because Elysium-old server (300 pop) had an easier time leveling and grinding compared to Nost (13k pop). BUT GUESS WHAT! it happened, it merged and it worked out.

The reason I think they should allow to go to any realm is because Zethkur is the newest realm, thus all other realms are already inhead of it and therefore not causing an issue with itemisation. If it was Anathema that was dying there would be no way in hell I would support transfer from it to Zethkur,Elysium, or possibly even Darrowshire (even though it would massively help the pop) simply because you would be putting ZG loot players into BWL patch server. But whats wrong with putting MC loot players into BWL patch servers? I dont get your logic "its different patch so its bad"

Having an engineering degree that include classes such as logical reasoning, probability and statistics, and dataset analysis usually helps guide my thought process.
