Yes, taking something without rolling is ninjaing. Rolling need on it, just everyone else (because everyone needs a BoE pieces, they BoE for exactly this reason - they are useful for everyone regardless of class a rogue can (and should) roll on two-hander to trade if for devilsaur leather piece. BoE are cheap way to buy power for you character. I'll just make it easy for you BoE = tradable = any equivalent piece of BoE gear. There, are you able to understand now? If you failed the roll - i advice you to not yell at winner "GIMME", but offer him something instead. Like, you know, gold. -
You need to strafe near the center oh enemy model to be able to

It is a bug. You can also facestab people on private servers

I love how people who never played on vanilla say "welcome to vanilla". Also, this whole "mafia" situation sounds really retarded, reminds me of overzealous kids

Also as a warrior you will almost always get a group leader. So... that's your opportunity to be a ninja (well, if this is BiS BoE and you don't want to buy it, instead, demand people to handle it over, you can just ninja it next time for the same effect), or to discuss loot rules when group is formed. I haven't seen a single group ingame who wouldn't want to roll need on all BoE items, everyone thinks that it's retarded idea to not to. So i guess it's just a vocal forum minority that doesn't reflect reality -

So why won't OP be humble and not an asshole and let the guy who won the loot to have the loot he won? -

You can get your "BiS BoE" item from AH, don't be a greedy asshole. There is no such a thing as "farming BoEs" until late wotlk, they are unreliable drops and their value is equal for everyone - it's basically a token for a BoE item for your class. And you are right, they are BoE so they can be traded - this warrior in question won the roll. OP wants this item for free after losing the roll. See the problem? He didn't said "hey dude will buy it for 50g", he said "equip it", and then demanded this item handled to him for no reason -

This exact guy was calling me a ninja for rolling need on cobalt crusher BoE as a druid, he was invited as a healer in SM:Lib, slacked so hard that i had to drop catform and dump all my mana pool into a group, called our group shit couple of times and demanded me to hand this cobalt crusher him or he will make a (gasp!) forum post. He tried to wipe us by pulling crapton of mobs, but died himself, got kicked and started to spamming /1 about me. So... i won't run with this guy anything ever, and won't recommend him to anyone. -

I'm not buying that leather boots with +40 MAP is better option than battlechaser's greaves, with +14str (28 MAP) and +13agi(0,5% crit). This warrior dude just rolled on them for the same reason hunters roll on all fucking melee weapon. And since we are speaking about BoP items - this warrior in question is definitely in the wrong for rolling on leather boots from a rogue people claim to be a ninja. So, in my eyes the story went like this: In a UBRS run lead by a warrior tank who said that he is going to be rolling for fury gear, a piece of leather boots drops, leather user rolls on them, warrior also rolls on them and wins. Rogue gets pissed off but remains quiet, rolls on a plate gear out of spite and continues to act psychotic and gets the blame because of his attitude. Sure, fury warrior itemisation (post 1h melee weapons fix, which is weird, because it definitely happened somewhere in naxx era, so furry "dps" never was a thing. I may be wrong because my memory is hazy, but i remember fury warriors tanking - not dpsing) is fucked up with stuff like mail hunter D1 set being great pickup (hit+MAP+crit, great deal), but it's a dick move if you roll them from a nose of a hunter. Because, you know, it's BoP item, you can't just waltz in an AH and buy them, you have to rely on a random drop + on a roll. Moral of this story is: don't act like a dick towards man-child (or childs) or unstable players in a game when they can fuck you up after that. I see no reasons why this "Disabled" guy should be on blacklist. If anything, he may be a heavy RP (disabled rogue after all) -
"of quality" items still work for me. I'll add screenshots after i'll get home today. It's literally 7.7 DPS increase in a cat form (thanks to Natural weapons) and i don't think that any statstick (read: weapon) in game can surpass that. Also might of cenarius and weightstones gives significant boost to damage. Also i don't remember seeing "of quality" items at all. Ever. Are there any chances that its simply mangos thing? Also i recall seeing "of retaliation" suffixes that gave you a chance to fling a shadow bolt at attacker on different servers. Probably some unused suffixes were added into the game mistakenly.

Horde Mage Beerwizzard ninjas Stockade Pauldrons

It's just laughable how people can't grasp that Stockade Pauldrons is the same fucking thing for a mage as Elemental Mage staff, he will go to AH, sell Pauldrons and buy Staff using these money + some extra. So, rolling need on that is perfectly acceptable, because by selling item on AH you get money equal for how valuable an item is, instead of vendoring it, when you get, like 1/10th of how valuable item is. The whole group worked towards completing dungeon, the whole group can benefit from an item in the same way (because warrior equipping this item right away is equal to him going to AH, buying it and equipping right away, it by no stretch of imagination is "more valuable" for him because he can use it "RIGHT NAO"). Heck, he could even mail it to his alt warrior, or give it to his guildie. It's a fucking BoE, they exist like that for exactly this reason - to be able to trade them, it's their purpose. If you need it as a performance boost - you buy it, or build a dedicated group to farm them for you. I used to play on warsong EU and common rule of the thumb was "roll need on BoE", now, being an adult and researching into this topic i understand that it's the only right decision if you base it on "prisoners dilemma". You don't roll "greed" on BoE, because you effectively "pass" on them, since there will be always someone to "need" on it. If the tank in question would really need them, he would farm DMN first to get Bulky Iron Spaulders, instead of his shitty greens or buy Stockade Pauldrons off AH. But he didn't, so he didn't really cared about having a green item in his shoulder slot for so fucking long. There were two things that group should do to prevent that: 1) Vote for "do we roll need on BoE, or give it to those who can use it?", then clarify about being-able-to-use-them and benefitting-from-using-them-on-the-current-run, so you won't end up with hunters taking all BoE agi leather, or "well these tanking pauldrons are BiS pre-raid gear and i'm a warrior too so i roll for it too". 2) Warrior should call dibs on these shoulders and everyone have to agree. 3) Warrior should pay mage for these pauldrons, mage could give him a discount and sell it for, say, 150 gold. But instead, warrior demanded a mage to give up pauldrons and started terrorizing him, and what we do with terrorists? We don't negotiate with them. Even if this terrorist will try to disrupt your daily gameplay, i'm with you random alliance mage that i won't ever meet, you are fighting a good cause against bunch of ignorant and entitled players. And fuck. My. Life. People can't grasp who ninjas are. If i was this mage that needs 30sp i would gladly pay AH price if you happen to roll it if i needed it RIGHT NAO and couldn't buy it before on a fucking AH. Actually blizzard changed the loot system to stop people from rolling need on everything. Newcomers had no chance to get their hands on dungeon gear because it was automatically (thanks to some community-made addons) rolled "need" on by raid-geared players (often for DE). The only one "entitled" here is the OP who demands others to handle gear to him without offering anything back after he lost a roll. Also, apparently, loot rules were included in that run - all gems go to a tank. Nothing about BoE epics. Speak about greed, when tank reserves randomly dropped GEMS for himself, and the whole group AGREES to that, then he demands other player to handle his piece of loot (which he fairly won by rolling on it) or face SOCIAL JUSTICE OF WORLD OF WARCRAFT! This is just laughable. In this case, tank could ask for 15% (5%) discount for these pauldrons - he will pay 255(285) gold instead of 300 and mage will get same amount of money.
