Ok first off I never played Vanilla WoW before so I have no idea what things were like. Anyway is there any addon or something that will let me view stuff like crit chance, hit chance, movement speed, etc?

I don't have anything with a QR reader. Can I not use this?

If you're not transfering an account from older Elysium or Nos, don't bother with the confirmation. You can log in and play just fine without doing so, my friend did.

I think I just realized something. The whole email validation I'm pretty sure is just for transfering characters from the old Nostalrius servers to Elysium. The transfer button replaces the validation resend button and no where in the setup guide does it even mention the validation email, just needing an email. If you're able to log in without "validating", I wouldn't worry about it unless an admin says otherwise.

But you use the exact same info to log into the game and it works? When using the control panel, are you certain you're capitalizing everything correcty? (Dumb question I know.)

Wait, you can play without activating your acccount? Anyhow a friend of mine is also having issues with getting the activation email and shes using gmail too.

My friend is having some issues in obtaining the validation email. They are using gmail for the account and it has not yet been recieved. (Yes, spam was checked.) They tried having it resent after an hour had passed and still nothing after some hours later. I myself didn't have much trouble when I signed up. I used gmail and didn't get it for a bit, had it resent, then got it after 15 seconds. I doubt there's an issue with the servers, so how long of a wait can my friend expect on this thing, or how long should they wait before hitting the resend button?

So as someone who joined during the end of Wrath, I always wanted to try out Vanilla and it seems like now is of good of a time as any. I'll still be playing Legion too, I'm sure many of you are, but I'd like to come here now and then. That said, i have a few questions about the server: 1: I saw that the [Talisman of Binding Shard] is actually a drop. Will this be a "only one person gets it" thing like it actually was on Blizz V-WoW, or is it a permenant part of the drop table? 2: Will this server and its realms do the Opening of the Gates of An'Qiraj event when we get to the AQ raid patch? Is it even going to happen at all? 3: Don't take this the wrong way, but how are we sure this server won't get shut down just like Nostalrius?

Thank you. Kinda sucks that it's only one per realm, but I get it. If anything it's more lenient than Blizz-WoW, since that was just one. Gonna download the client and register later today. See any of you on Darrowshire.
