My point is if you plan on using the default looting system then you don't need to say so. It's implied that if nothing is said beforehand then need will only be rolled on items that players are going to equip. If you want to go with a different system then say something beforehand.

The debate was over long before the recent poll. If you feel the need to use a different roll system than the logical one that blizzard set up then just notify your groups before hand that you don't believe in greed rolls and that you will be rolling need on equipment that you can't use.

You should follow your own advice and do some research because the admins have specifically stated you are not allowed to sheep quest mobs like the op was asking about.

They would have allowed cross faction communication in real time in the game if Blizzard intended players to cross faction team. Just like how in bgs you can have alliance on your team if you're horde if you want. Oh wait, you can't.

Most people on Elysium want a high pop and most people on Zeth'Kur want a low pop so asking who the hell wants a high pop server is dumb. The people that wanted to get off Elysium already did. You want the servers to equalize which would remove the choice of picking a high pop server vs low pop. Most people want a higher pop server as evidenced by the poll in a similar thread and the server populations themselves. Zeth'Kur isn't viable (in your opinion) not because admins refuse to do the right thing and allow transfers but because players simply are exercising their choice to play on Elysium over Zeth'Kur.

The people that want to play on Zeth'Kur are already there. Some people on zeth want to go to Elysium because zeth used to have more people. You keep saying 'choice' and saying people want to go from ely to zeth when it's the other way around. They are not going to allow transfers either way but a merge is a possibility down the road.

It punishes some classes more so than others. That's really the only issue with it. But it's been around for 12 years so deal with it.

This was the only logical thing you brought up. They did things the way they did them because it was the best they could do considering the situation the servers are in. Due to not being legal exactly they can't do things the easy way like adding a 5 buck subscription.

Sure, I'll show you why that option doesn't work for most people. I want more people on Elysium for PvP so that would be a bad thing. If you want PvP, Elysium isn't overcrowded at all and could use more people since the population has dropped quite a bit since a month ago. Right now we have a choice in what kind of population we want. You want to equalize them which would eliminate that choice.
