The game was built to prevent cross faction communication. Why do you say that is without substance? Also why do you think it was made so 1 account could have only 1 faction?

1. This was not allowed in retail. 2. In retail and here you cannot communicate with the opposing faction. Just because you can easily circumvent something that was not intended doesn't mean it's allowed.

Considering the amount of people getting their pws hijacked there's more going on than just weak/reused pws. I played online poker for 13 years and virtually no one (out of millions of accounts) had their accounts compromised. Hackers would have way more incentive to go after poker accounts due to the sheer volume and $ amounts yet such things did not happen. All you needed to log in was an account name and p.w. There was no ip lock or 2fa.

The fact they can't communicate in game is my point and Blizzard's point exactly. Again being able to do it doesn't mean you should.

It's clearly not intended to communicate with the opposing faction with the way Blizzard set the game up. Common sense would dictate that the cross faction communication in these examples is not supposed to happen. Just because you can easily break the rules doesn't mean you should.

Still doesn't make sense to me. The worst thing that can happen when you appeal is that the appeal is denied and the punishment remains the same.

Just because the admins don't have the time and resources to stop them doesn't mean they condone it.

I've been wondering how so many people had their pws stolen the last 2 months. Considering the profit that hackers have been getting for this I wonder if that was done on purpose. They setup a weak security system then say it's your responsibility to setup a 2nd password without telling you why and that if you got hacked its your fault when they full well know it wasn't.

That is all the more reason to appeal. You are assuming people that had temporary bans were converted to permanent bans because they appealed?

And for a whopping 20g item. At least we know not group with him now. The worst part of that isn't the ninja loot, it's the fact he logged out and you have to end the run or waste time finding a replacement.

The only type of suspicious behavior you guys haven't addressed that could result in a ban is rolling over when you come across decent competition. I don't know anything about this situation but the common theme I have seen in other people's ban appeals is that they did this and claimed it was ok to do since it wasn't pre planned even though they did it repeatedly. You cant steamroll games and get steamrolled yourself on a consistent basis. Having said all that I don't know if that applies here.

I'm usually at 100 ping down in Florida. I've always had issues with melee range in PvP tho. Tells me I'm too far away when I'm right on top of them.

Elysium has 3x the pop of zeth so in off hours I'm just saying a faction pool of 2500 players on ely players vs 800 on zeth is going to make life a lot easier at 60 if you want to pug it. I'm not saying one is better than the other. It depends what you want. It's awesome that we have the choice.

If he plays in off hours it won't be easy to find anything on zeth.

It's simple. If you want high pop then Elysium and if you want low pop then Zeth'Kur. It'll take longer to level on Elysium but when you hit 60 it's easier to find groups for everything.

Joined Strat UD run w/ players from the guild Return. After waiting 15 mins in the instance for one of them to grab something he could have gotten before or after the run we finally got started. We wiped on the 3rd pack after a double pull. I inspected Sly's gear because he was tanking and only had 3.6 hp. Except for his shield he had leather and other random dps gear on. We wiped about 4 more times on double pulls and Sly starts going off in all caps about how I'm a mongoloid and I don't know how to heal (I've solo healed UBRS). I also looted the 1st 5 crates and one of them asked me to let them loot them for the holy water so I said no problem. We went by 5 more crates and no one looted them even though I pointed them out. Sly gets agitated and starts pulling while I'm drinking to mana up and spams HEAL in all caps. In one of those instances another player from his guild accidently pulled a patrol so I healed the other 3 from his guild attacking the patrol while Sly moved in the opposite direction and died. At this point he started whispering me about how bad I am and that I'm about to get replaced. I explained to him that I can't heal thru double pulls with no cc. The hunter put down some traps but someone else was breaking them right away every time. After that he booted me. Which was a relief because that was the worst run I've been on since joining this server. Just a warning to avoid grouping with Sly and his guild if you can help it.

When you report that you have been hacked you get banned until you enable 2FA. You gave the gold sellers free gold once so they do that to make sure you don't do it again.

They aren't that quick to hand out bans for suspicious behavior. Whatever got you banned happened days if not weeks ago. If you did nothing wrong you'll get unbanned eventually but something tells me with an attitude like yours you probably did something you shouldn't have.
